Waited to complete at least 6 sessions before I wrote this review…read more Their "lifetime guarantee" and "throw away the razor" marketing is a bait and switch, and not real at all. The fine print in their contract voids the marketing ploys, so don't buy packages based on that type of thinking, like I did. Their "co-pays" for any sessions after your 8 sessions that are included in every package have just increased by 800%--absolute highway robbery. The copay for my face treatment was $35, and I was just told on the phone that it is now $269. I spent close to $10k on packages from them, because I was so tired of having to shave all the time, and I have hair EVERYWHERE. I was told when I bought all the packages for multiple areas that my appointments would be booked together--another lie. Trying to get appointments for all my areas together was impossible, so I had to keep breaking them up and even going to their Cranston location sometimes because there just wasn't enough availability. Then there were the actual providers doing the treatments. Some providers were awesome, and listened to me when I told them they didn't get a particular area, and needed to go over it again. Others would argue with me, and the worst ones would burn me and leave marks on my body. When I told them during my next session, I kept getting gaslit and told that I may have had something on my skin that caused the burns. No. Absolutely not. They were half crescent-shaped burns that happened because they didn't put the laser head down properly and fully on my skin before they zapped me. Or the cooling head wasn't adjusted properly for some sessions. Overall, my experience with the laser treatments has been good, not great. I still have hair growth in a lot of areas, even after 6 treatments. I have caramel colored skin that lightens a bit in the winter, and dark brown/black hair. I have a lot of hair on my body, and laser has lessened the growth, but it does not go away entirely like they advertise that it will. Their business practices left me feeling like I was robbed, and I will not be going back for touch-ups after my sessions are done. Especially not with these "new prices" they just released. Also, if you have tattoos, you cannot get those areas lasered. It would have been great if someone had told me that before I spent $10k, but of course, they didn't until my first appointment. Thankfully, I don't have many large tattoos covering the areas I needed lasered, but it was yet another thing about their business practices that annoyed me and left me feeling like they're not honest.

Buyer Beware.....American Lasers They take your money…read morewithout even having a procedure done. I went into American Lasers for a consult and signed some paperwork and set up an appointment. The very next day less than 24 hrs after my consult I called to cancelled my procedure. To my surprise I must have signed a finance agreement and American Laser was paid. The office manager told I should have read my agreement that I was responsible for payment in full even though I didn't have any treatments done. I tried calling AL directly and got no response, I tried going to the finance company MedChoice, which seems to have an association with American Lasers and got no help. I asked for a supervisor, I asked for a corporate number and none was available. I filed a fraud complaint with the Bank WFNNB and it is in disputes now. I am in the 6th week of this mess and have not heard from anyone regarding my request for a refund. I filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General and they have been helpful but their is a process. I have received my 2nd payment notice from the bank and worried how this may affect my credit history. I have since gathered a lot of information on American Laser and wish to expose them for what they. I am in the process of hiring an attorney and alerting the local news stations to the practices of this company. I think people will find it very interesting how this company operates. Thank God I didn't have a procedure done. Do your homework, get references, check the better business bureau for complaints and be careful what you sign up front. Buyer Beware!!! Not 24 hours later, at a consultation, (which my mom didn't attend) the price was now $1475 per session or 3 sessions for $3000. WHAT A DEAL!!! When I mentioned the price I'd been quoted, the technician had to speak with her office manager, (like buying a car) who agreed that she had given me these prices. When I was ready to purchase 7 sessions for $1500, I was told that the price for 6 was ONLY $4000. Obviously, the math didn't work so I inquired further about the price increase. The technician said that the price quoted was with my mom's discount. Yes, she's a very special lady, I just had no idea how special she was to ALC....she'd pay $214.28 per session, and my price was $666.66 per session. When I said that I wasn't prepared to spend $4000, she said it was ONLY $166 per month but forgot to mention this was OVER 24 MONTHS. I can't and won't deal with an establishment who change the price like New England weather. To me, this says something loud and clear about who and what caliber of character you're dealing with.
