After seeing three different dermatologists for a rash on my face that kept recurring, I went to…read moresee Dr. Feder, who was the first one ever to give me a patch test on my arm, which determined that I am allergic to a bizarre sounding but commonly occurring chemical called cocamidapropyl betaine. Ewwwwgh. It is in nearly every shampoo, many toothpastes, and random other things. You have to read every label or look it up on the EWG website to determine if a product contains it. He had me try three different Rx ointments until one finally worked and my face is rash free. Dr. Feder is SO good, that he is 100 % booked and is not taking new patients AT THIS TIME. He takes so much time with his patients, answers all questions in English as opposed to Medicalese. He is also so calm and sweet, he puts his patients at ease immediately. With full disclosure, I must add that Dr. Feder is married to my cousin. I am in no way biased for that reason. I even visited three other dermatologists upon moving back to RI 8 years ago, because I didn't want to have my cousin's husband examining me :-). However, exasperated with a recurring rash (for which one lovely dermatologist suggested I try covering with a makeup primer!!). I bit the bullet and played the cousin card, because I knew he was THAT good. His nurses examine me in places I am too embarrassed to show a doctor who is married to my cousin! He really is the BEST and has been frequently been listed in RI Monthly's "BEST OF" for doctors in RI. I hope he will eventually be taking new patients. Ya never know!

My last visit there I waited behind somebody in line for ten minutes, taking me past my actual appointment time. Even while making myself visible the entire time the secretary told me I was late and would have to call to reschedule. Call? I'm standing right there. After being treated like dirt by the secretary, it didn't end there. They "accommodated" me for my appointment by leaving me in an exam room unattended to for forty minutes! When the assistant and doctor finally arrived I made a remark that I've been waiting an awful long time. The assistant was in his first year in comedian school apparently, telling me the best service is worth waiting for. The exam itself lasted about ten minutes and I was offered a handshake for my patience. I've since switched to the University office by Warwick Mall and have been helped so well and taken care of there, I'd gladly direct anybody else to this same office too if you can.

For the past few years, I have been getting my annual dermatology exam at Skin Pros. During all…read morethose years, I had deal with Dr Domingues and Dr Trott. Both have been nice but I just feel that I am rushed during all these appointments. Colloquially people joke about the 5-10 minute doctor visits and I feel that way when I go to Skin Pros. Maybe that's the way it is at all dermatology offices.... The front office staff is average, I feel like a number when I check in, not as a human being, but again, they see many many people a day and that can make the receptionists, a bit curt. There's a free parking lot in the back of the building.

While he was highly endorsed by Robert Leonard…read moreas well as being double board certified and his commendable written reviews, it was the first consultation where I ultimately made my decision. I was extremely impressed by his incredible knowledge and attentiveness to my personal needs. On December 7, 2017 I had breast augmentation with a lift. I have never had surgery and Dr. Sullivan eased all of my anxiety. He took time right before anesthesia to comfort me once again to go over the procedure. His compassion, sensitivity and overall demeanor exemplified the qualities of the ultimate doctor. The same level of respect and caring was also consistent with his professional staff that make me feel so welcomed at every office visit. The day after the surgery Dr. Sullivan called me personally to check in and see how I was doing. While this may be a common practice for him, I felt validated by his sincerity. I even received flowers from him which helped brighten my spirits. I encountered some difficulty where by my body was rejecting the dissolvable stiches but Kim from his office was amazing with taking such good care of me. I would strongly recommend Dr. Sullivan for anyone contemplating any type of plastic surgery. He and his staff are first quality and provide the best experience possible.
