I have never tried any type of combat sports. (I've never thrown a punch.) Fortunately, I decided to walk into ABC, where I met husband & wife owners (and recent Russia transplants) Konstantin & Yulia. ABC is far more than your typical HIIT workout because Konstantin's coaching (he is a professional boxer in addition to owner) exercises your mind, and improves your coordination on top of being a great way to exercise without it feeling like a chore. The vibe at ABC is very much community and family oriented. They train all ages, both men and women. It is the first boxing club I have joined and I am an amatuer so I can not really provide an objective evaluation but I liked the small group size training so you can get individual attention from the trainers. For almost twenty years I have trained in every kind of boxing gym from Los Angeles to Italy and Adrenaline is the real deal. It has all the best parts of a "fit box" gym with all the grit of a championship boxing club but without any of the grime. Fantastic spot for fitness training and kids classes! Easy to schedule and very inclusive atmosphere.

Personally, I love getting taught fundamentals and technique b/c it lets me work out harder and better later on--like swimming. You can splash the pool and look cool but not for too long and you aren't really exercising. So i was excited to see this place open up so close to my house bc they are legit and focused on real boxing. The trainer Konstain has a lot of patience and is committed to make sure you're throwing punches correctly (warm ups and cool downs). I am 43 and have a history of aches and pains but you know they won't let you do incorrect form and get hurt. Lots of other gyms/ trainers will move you around and do flashy combinations but you aren't really boxing and you're bound to get hurt sooner or later. read more

We are so happy that Adrenaline Boxing Club has opened up in Sherman Oaks. My 16 year old son was looking for a private trainer to teach him boxing techniques with an emphasis on proper form and actual boxing. The private lessons have been incredible and his trainer Konstantin has really been able to tailor the lessons to my son's needs. Scheduling lessons is easy and the gym is immaculate and presents really well. The club also offers small group lessons according to age group that we will be starting in addition to the private lessons. There's a parking lot in the back which is so very helpful. What I really like about this club is that they accept different age groups with any level of experience or training or none at all. And you will not feel uncomfortable because of it.
