Our house is around 30 years old and many of the original aluminum windows were failing (seals broken, etc.). We had been talking about replacing windows when a Sales Rep for Apex showed up at our front door. Although we are typically leery of door to door sales people, since we were already talking about new windows, we made arrangements to have someone from the company contact us to come out and talk about the company, their products, and yes, possibly sell us windows. With a few days between the door to door contact and our formal appointment, we were able to do some research on Apex and their windows. Ari Botelho, a Senior Sales Partner for Apex, met with us with a full-sized sample window and did a great job explaining and demonstrating the advantages of Apex windows and put together a quote which we were very comfortable with. The original windows were builder grade aluminum, dual pane, that were a combination of single hung, sliders and fixed windows. What we were getting with Apex were triple paned (double hung and sliders). Due to size of two fixed windows on the front of the house, those windows are double pane. There is no doubt that the new Apex windows were a significant upgrade. We placed our order toward the end of May and were told that an anticipated installation date would be in mid-August (the windows, particularly the large fixed windows had to be manufactured). We were pleasantly surprised when we got a call around the 20th of July that our windows were ready for installation. A three-man crew headed up by Juan showed up on time and immediately started replacing the 20 new windows (there were actually more than 20 windows since both large fixed windows were made up of multiple windows). The crew finished in two days. They completely cleaned up after the first and second day. They were efficient, polite and friendly and were happy to answer any questions or concerns we had. Although the sills had to be trimmed to accommodate the thicker, triple pane windows, the interior sills and casings were left undisturbed. The windows look great and operate smoothly. The double hung windows can be easily unlatched so they swing out of their tracks for easy access and cleaning from the inside of the house. The slider windows also can be easily taken out of their tracks for access and cleaning. Since we have had the windows for only a week, I can't speak to any energy savings yet, however, we did notice something that hopefully is a sign of things to come. Our house sits up on bluff with the back of the house facing directly west. In the past, even with central A/C, on hot days we would have to keep all of the blinds completely drawn to keep the temperature in the house bearable. The first day after installation the outside temperature was in the upper 80's with none of our blinds being up (they all had to be removed for installation) we expected the house to feel like an oven. To our surprise, the house although warm, was not as hot as usual. Even standing in front of window some of the heat seemed to be dissipated. Just think what it might be like with all of the blinds reinstalled and drawn on those hot days. All in all, we are very happy with our new Apex windows along with the sales process and installation. Our new windows were installed four days ago and we can't believe the transformation to the look and feel of our home. Our house was built nearly 30 years ago with double pane wood windows that by now have seen a better day. I did some research and started with a quote from one of the nationwide window giants. Wow, I know they are good windows but the price was way too much to justify. A few months later, an Apex representative going door to door caught me at a good time to talk. I had never heard of Apex but took the brochure and promised to answer his call after some research on my part. The brochure shows some impressive statistics and I dove into a search for reviews from actual customers. Still impressed by what I found,I agreed to a quote. The price was far less than the big guy's, for a product that I thought was comparable. I'm in! Now to convince my wife. Showed her my research. She's in! Windows and installation crew arrived a few months later on the scheduled date and on time. We had Junior Sales Associate Ilan Grach come to our home to discuss getting a quote on installing new windows. We had other companies in the past and felt there was no way we could afford an installation of new windows, but Ilan did such a great job explaining Apex's process we decided to setup an appointment with Senior Sales Partner Alexa Bourne to learn more and receive a quote. When Alexa arrived, I let her know from the get go that I was 90% sure we weren't going to sign up because we've seen how expensive new windows are and we just can't afford that right now. My experience with Apex Energy Solutions has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I paid $72K for 21 windows and a door based on promises made by their sales rep, Kate Gralton. She assured me that their products would meet the specific needs of our mid-century modern home's unique wood beam framing and maintain its architectural integrity. However, when installation began, the problems became glaringly apparent. The first 9 windows had significant gaps and didn't fit properly. Later, we learned that the door was completely unsuitable for our existing frame. It was clear that the products were not aligned with the requirements Kate had assured us they would meet. Despite our attempts to address these issues with Kate and the installer, it became obvious that Apex's products failed to live up to the promises made. When we requested a full refund and the removal of the partially installed windows, Kate's response stated that the products were non-cancellable and completely ignored the fact that what was promised did not match what was delivered. I strongly advise caution when dealing with this company. Their failure to deliver on promises and poor customer service have left us in a very frustrating situation. I hope for a prompt resolution and a full refund, but until then, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. read more

Apex replaced the windows in our 1980's home with new triple pane windows, Jason the sales rep gave us a good background of how the company operates, agood demonstration of the windows, and went over what to expect when theinstallation team arrives. This session gave us confidence we were doing theright thing. We were quite impressed with two-man installation crew (Jim and Butler).They were very friendly, courteous, and efficient. They tore out the oldwindows, installed the new, and cleaned up the area in less than a day. They even revised their installation sequence by finishing up the window in our home office so we could get our computer up and running. (Its right in front of thewindow). We have had the windows for about a week now and notice that the house feelswarmer, and seems a quieter. We also notice the house cools slower at nightwhen we turn down the thermostat (68 degrees to 64) at 10:00 p.m. It may bethat we have to turn the thermostat down earlier because we prefer to sleep ina slightly cooler room. The exterior of the house look great. We have received complements from some of our neighbors on how good the house looks. I just had the new windows installed last week and I could not be happier with the product and the installation! Ari from Apex came over to demonstrate the windows and the process earlier this year, and I was interested in upgrading my old single pane windows that were original to the house (1955). Her presentation was about an hour and went over all of the details that I needed to know. The windows are 3 pane and of high quality. Due to the covid-19, the person who was supposed to come out and measure had to wait until he was able to come over, but he did his work in under an hour. Next, the ordering process and waiting for the windows to be manufactured took about 2 months. Scheduling the installers was a little tricky because I did not want my kids or dog around, since my house is pretty small, but they were very accommodating. It took them 2 days to remove the old windows and install the new ones. The final results look amazing and I can feel a difference during the hot days as I can now open multiple windows and get a cross breeze going in my house! 10 windows replaced. So I got to say I was very skeptical about this company. But I appreciated the low pressure sales. Jason (who was with sales) was very responsive and great to work with through the entire process. Brands like Anderson was using sales tactics, and sales prices that really weren't much were not appreciated, and way over priced windows even with quality windows. I think for the price point and the quality of installation you get a big bang per dollar for the windows. I saw one review about using subcontractors, and that wasn't the case. I had Don and Patrick come out and they are dedicated to Apex. They are a true craftsman, and really did a great job. When I have more windows to install I want these guys to come out. I have only one complaint and it's not fault of the installers. The Double hung window jumps out of the track when opened. The company is in the process of taking care of it. If I had to suggest I would just keep it as a casement window that opens up. I would recommend these guys, and over Vinyl. Product is great value for triple pane and the looks. We got our Apex windows installed in December and are so glad we did! Our house was built in 1956 and it likely still had the original aluminum windows, which kept the house freezing cold in the winter and hot and stuffy in the summer. We had a knowledgable and friendly Apex representative come to our house and show us a cool, interactive presentation. We ended up deciding to purchase the windows because it will save a ton of money on energy in the long run. The team of installers did a great job. There was some confusion about the window installation date, and it had to get changed at the last minute due to a manufacturing error. While this was somewhat frustrating, Bob made sure to re-schedule us in a timely manner. The installers were very professional and even came back to replace a single pane of glass that had been cracked during the installation. So far we are very pleased with our windows. They look great and kept us so much warmer in the winter. This spring we have been enjoying opening the windows and letting the breeze in, which we had been unable to do with our old windows. Apex Energy Solutions recently installed 16 windows and one beautiful sliding glass door for our home. This house was built back in 1984, so it was definitely time for an update! I would recommend these windows for anyone looking for the most energy-efficient solution to antiquated wood or aluminum-frame windows. The one thing that could have gone better was that one window was ordered for the wrong size, but this was not revealed until the window was in the process of being removed. As a result, we had a broken window in our house for several weeks. Part of the delay took place over the holidays which likely extended the time. Usually, I am skeptical when someone comes to the door and offers to sell me something. however, when Apex knocked, they had an aura of professionalism and honesty about them, so I asked them in. I am so glad I did. We did a full house window replacement at a price I thought was quite reasonable. The quality of the product is far superior to anything I have seen, and the installers were polite, professional and did not leave any sort of mess. I would highly recommend this product and am sure everyone will enjoy both the product and the people who sell and install it. The little extras about these windows are worth mentioning. The slider windows open from either direction, and the casement windows are designed with a flip down feature, so both sides can be washed from the inside. We went a little crazy and put frosted glass in our upstairs bathroom, so there is lots of natural light, while maintaining privacyy. And of course, the triple pane provides awesome insulation. I had noticed a few homes in my neighborhood of Fairwood with new windows installed. I took note of the signs on their lawns and made it a point to get the number. To my surprise, one of their reps (Alexa) came up to my door before I could call! We talked for a few minutes, and she said another rep would stop by for the presentation. Jason came by, and showed me the brochure and gave a great pitch. I needed to replace a few windows (dated back to when the home was built in 1981, and showing their age with bad seals), so I had them replace 9 of my windows. The crew came by on the day after Christmas, and had them all installed that day, with only sealing and cleanup to do the day after. Needless to say, they did an impressive job! The new triple pane windows do make the house not only warmer, but quieter to boot! They look excellent, and are WORLDS better than what was in there originally! I still have a few windows, along with a slider that I want to have done, and I will not hesitate to have Apex install their products to replace them as well. We had the pleasure of having one of Apex's Representative out to give us more information on the Insignia Windows. I don't want to spoil the surprise of the presentation, but let's just say, if you have ever thought about replacing all your windows, or even one window, this is the company for you. We had a quote from another company. The objective of that company was very obviously sales, sales, sales. Very short, extremely pricey, and was quickly gone when we said we couldn't afford his quote. I would call them solicitors. The experience with Apex was the polar opposite. There was no pressure, but an education on windows, how they are made, using green energy to make them, and that are sustainable for 50 years!!! Purchasing windows seemed almost like afterthought. We thought,from the other quote we got, that we would have to buy one window at a time, at a high cost. We just purchased our home and don't have money to be spending on anything right now.
