So much fun! I had never done candlepin bowling before so my review is likely biased by the joy I experienced of trying something new. Dare I say candlepin is better than regular bowling?! I came with a couple friends on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other family there and staff was helpful when our lane had issues clearing pins. The price is a little high at $32 per hour but otherwise no complaints. I just wish we had this back where I'm from so we could do it more! This probably isn't the nicest alley you've seen but it's decent enough and gets the job done.

Empty lanes on a very busy afternoon

usually a 5 Star experience, but on school winter vacation arriving at 445 with 3 kids. place was packed. I asked to bowl big balls. I was told by teenage worker who was miserable that bowling league starts at 5 pm. so no more bowling tonight. we proceeded to play video games and drop 120$. at 545 pm still no bowling going on. I confessed I knew the over 60 league star at 615 pm and he could have made us happy and made money for the company by letting us bowl for 1/2 hour. he said oh well who cares "people suck" . Lack of experienced workers who do not wanna be there, plus large crowds and many kids. I had a bad experience and felt they wanted everyone to leave.

Good fun for the family. Enough of a variety to keep the kids entertained. Great discounts for seniors.

We had an awesome time here for my school-aged kids' birthday. While we love coming here in…read moregeneral, the birthday party was particularly fabulous and the focus of this review. It's well organized and there is a small area and a large area right by the entrance, flanking the ticket redemption area, the drink counter, and the employee desk. Great location for it. There's two flatscreen TVs in the large area and one flatscreen TV in the small one. Ability to turn off/on lights. We were able to fit high 20's number of kids in the small party area. Service and coordination was particularly great. Megan was our lead person, and she provided excellent concierge service. We were frankly surprised how great she was and attentive. We just assumed we'd be in for some chaos but nope, guided us, paced us, and was very attentive. You bring your own drinks and cake, and they have pizza baked in house. The pizza is really good. Wow. Move over boring kid birthday pizza. They take the cake back for you and cut it up and serve it. They clean up. They help with pizza distribution. They wheel in and out the carts with gifts (and coats this time of year) into and out of the party area. So if you want to stay around longer after the party area reservation, you're welcome to and they've got multiple carts to keep your things. The distribution of some of the credits on cards before and after was great. And the A or B on the cards of the kids to divide up the laser tag was great. And our kid got to do both times since it was their birthday. The area and place/setting is fun. Lots of different types of games. Everything was working -- a rarity for an arcade. There's better or worse use of credits, of course, as there is everywhere. I loved the variety though. There were electronic games, claw games, multiplayer games, violent and non-violent, physical sport/skill games (basketball shooting, ski ball, drop ball), and both ticket earning and non-ticket earning games. The redemption area has a large variety of choices and they're displayed well to enable kids to make choices without long queues. The laser tag area is surprisingly large and very fun for the kids. It's gotta be 2-3x larger than the rest of the arcade. The price here was great. Lots of folks will seek outer suburbs of Boston for good prices but all in this was a steal compared to some other options. And the other families loved it. Kids were raving about it through the school week, and multiple people said they're going to bring their families back here again soon and many for birthday parties.

Is it just me or is the pizza here actually pretty amazing? i have only been here for birthday…read moreparties but I am realizing that the pizza here that is made in house is different from other places and for birthday party pizza it is way better than delivering it into wherever the venue is. It's rectangular and super thick and i didn't think much of it until my son wolfed down two slices so fast i was not believing. so I had one. and i tried another weird pie called CBLT or something and it looked scary drizzled with ranch but crazy good! I think im just going to make excuses to come here again to try the pizza...the arcade games are definitely not really for little kids but pretty fun for older kids and grownups but it's nice that even if you have teensy kid points you can still get decent toy prizes and candy.

Got a 2 White Russians, $20 total including tip. The next week I came back, this time it was a younger women bartending. I ordered 1 White Russian and it was $13.81 or $15.00 with tip... Huh? Did you give me someone else's slip? I pointed out the price discrepancy. She replied: "maybe he didn't ring it in as a White Russian???"... Look, I paid for it under protest. But, perhaps next time I'll only get the drink if the dude is working.

It was still there throughout both our games. At the beginning of the first game I went to the bar to order drinks and a snack. Couldn't find anyone there. Stopped a worker who was walking by, asked how I order food for the bowling lane. He said they come around at the lanes taking orders. Great... so I went back. Half way through the game, nobody showed up. Went back to the bar and told them nobody has come around to take orders. No apology or "I'll send someone right away", just asked if I want to order at the bar. Ok, so I did. Then, nothing showed up for the rest of the game. Finally at the end of the 10th frame bartender comes up and says they don't have the ingredients to make the drink. So I said forget it, we don't want anything. Then we went to do axe throwing. Nobody was working at the axe throwing counter. Had to walk all the way around to find someone at the bowling desk, who eventually went to the axe throwing desk. Then they moved us from one booth to another to another because they couldn't get the machine to work. Took a while, error messages showing up and the worker didn't know how to push the "ok" button on the error messages. Finally they got it to work. The axe throwing wood targets are in TERRIBLE SHAPE! There were several HUGE like 2 inch wide gaps in the wood so that several times the axe would hit perfectly but inside the gap so it bounced out even though it would have stuck if those gaps weren't there. C'mon management, maintain them! How much could it cost to replace big rough pieces of lumber? Positive things: the price is right. This place cost about half of what other bowling alleys cost. The place seems fairly clean and not run-down. It has potential to be a successful business. It was not a terrible experience but definitely needs better management. Management: pay attention: How to Have Successful Business 101: Stock the bar. (I see a few other review here about how the bar was lacking supplies). Maintain the facilities. Have servers clean up and take orders. You will make more money that way! Make sure employees are present and motivated. The employees seem not to care. They need to at least seem to be pumped up and cheerful and eager to serve the clients. They could earn lots of tips that way too.
