Very pleased with the 24 hour turnaround on getting my 1950's cart picked up, repaired , and returned.

Be careful with this shop. Started with Manny (Johnny to some) picked up our golf cart and we paid invoice of $1500...no work was done and communication was lost. Finally contacted Alex and went to see our golf cart only to see it had been totally stripped. Requested Alex fix lights and dash and put in batteries. Invoice was paid and when he requested we pick up our golf cart, we noticed that our rims and tires had been swapped out for small tires, one of which wasn't even the same size. He told us that's how he received it and we provided pictures so he replaced our tires. This place is shady. Do you due diligence before choosing this shop. read more

He came to my home with another person picked up my golf cart to take to his shop which was open at that time. He just happened to have the part on his truck and was on the way to pick up his wife from the airport. I contacted just about every golf cart company in OC to install a speed controller I bought on ebay. One company said it was major surgery and would be $1500.00 to instal my own controller and it would take weeks! I kept searching found GCC and called John. The website said 24 hour service......He really does always answers his phone! John said we do those all the time and charge 85/per HR should be around 3 hours. I was like COOL.......Can you pick-up my cart and do the work and deliver back? I made an appointment for pick-up 3 days later and never spoke again. When the day came for pick-up John called me 1 hour early and said I'm on my. I didn't need to keep checking to be sure they would show up or not flake. These guys showed up on time have triple copy records... and turned my cart into a BEAST that does 27mph! They also checked and filled my batteries and installed 48V to 12 transformer at the same time. BEWARE if you are having Alex repair something. He was supposed to rebuild my motor, charged me $800 and it was not rebuilt. Different motor shop repaired it and said nothing was done on it before. He also did some diagnostics on a control box and charged for a new power source and after inspection, he used a used part. He is NOT to be trusted. His golf carts may be " rebuilt " but beware... they may have used or faulty parts.. never will I go to him read more
