I got a minor dose of radiation to my melon to show my choppers and decided to go sleepy-sleepy when I get them yanked in December. The ladies at the front desk verified my insurance and I was provided a detailed estimate of what the total cost would be. This was a very nice experience as i wasn't expecting this process to be so quick. Regardless of which location I go to, everyone at Gentle Dental is very professional and pleasant to work with. Now I just have to find someone nice enough to give me a ride @ 6:30 am on a Friday morning...

After a 12:30 appt. today, I was finally called back at 1:05. Dental assistant didn't apologize or…read moresay one word to me during xrays. She also didn't put the vest on me prior to xrays. I never received the cleaning I signed up for and of course the lady dentist found all kinds of issues even though my prior dentist who I'd seen for 20 years helped me to maintain all areas with no big ticket issues. I finally left 2 hours later. Never going back. In fact, I'll pay to see my regular dentist out of pocket! My wife was in the front office and said the front office staff, especially the insurance coordinator, was rude to other workers, and I heard many phone conversations about people whose monthly payments didn't 'go through'. Stay clear of Gentle Dental.

If you value your teeth or struggle with anxiety, I strongly suggest going somewhere else…read more I trusted this office because they seemed understanding at first. That trust was a mistake. In my experience, this is a very untrustworthy office who seemingly only cares about money. I had teeth extracted here at 20 years old that could have been saved. I was also told I needed FOUR more of my front teeth removed. I've since gone to a new dentist, and the difference is shocking. They actually listened to me, respected my anxiety, and focused on saving my teeth instead of removing them. I just had two fillings done on teeth that Dr. Bradstreet said needed to be extracted. They did NOT need to be removed. I've included a photo: Dr. Bradstreet's work is circled in white, and my new dentist's work is circled in black. I am still extremely upset and angry that I went through extractions that may not have been necessary. You only get one set of adult teeth, and I feel like mine were taken from me too easily. I also felt like my concerns, especially about cost were not taken seriously, which makes me question the treatment decisions that were made. Please get a second opinion before agreeing to any extractions here. It could save your teeth.

He has been mindful of respecting patient preferences, especially those of us who have been at this clinic for decades. I can tell that he will do whatever he can to make sure that you feel comfortable throughout your visit. He and his team embody what it means to have personalized care, and you will feel really special as their patient. I strongly recommend him to all my family and friends!

I'm nearly 70, so I've had a lot of Novocain shots by now.  I just had one this morning from Dr…read more Barrett, and his technique was by far the gentlest I've ever had -- barely hurt at all while being administered. Both my wife and I really like our hygienist.  Although forced by the pandemic to revert to manual tools (vs. the more modern power-washing method), her technique is as close to perfect as is humanly possible.  Never any bleeding or accidental pokes, which have happened many times with other hygienists.  And although today was my first filling from the dentist, it was my 4th or 5th cleaning (we became new patients last year), so that assessment has a solid data base behind it. And my wife has had one of their crowns that they make while-U-wait, right there in the office (total time about 2 hrs) and it actually fit better than either of her other two, both of which required her to return after a few days to have the temporary crown removed, which can be painful.  Fantastic! If we could give them 6 or more stars, we would! Andy A.

This review is not about the dentist but the front office. My insurance has provided me with this…read moredental office as one that is in network according to my insurance. I called and made my appointment. At the initial call, I have provided all my insurance information. The first available date was out more than two months. In the mean time. I filled out a lengthy questionnaire online that included dental and health conditions, but was quite extensive. Than, the day before the appointment, they called me to inform me that they are not in network. Since I did provide my insurance information on the initial phone call when the appointment was made, they had ample time to figure out if they in fact were not in network, yet they claim that because they just got my filled out form, they did not know sooner that they were not in network. The bottom line is that I lost more than two months of time and I really needed to see a dentist, and they showed zero interest in taking any responsibility for waiting until the last minute to inform me of this key fact. While the dental services might be good, but treating potential clients with such low level of care provides a picture that is less than desirable for wanting to be a client or a patient to such an outfit.
