Excellent food. I haven't had any problems. The wait is a little long sometimes, but to me that means my food will be hot.

I go to this location a few times a week for their souvlaki platter. Most of the times it's been great-a few times things were missing-like the thatziki sauce or pita bread. Today I as highly disappointing and I'm hoping this isn't a new thing. The chicken was different- seemed like it was frozen and reheated on the kabob sticks rather than fresh and delicious and on its own. Also, no thatziki sauce again. I always get the cob salad sub crispy chicken it's always fresh and crispy and hits the spot. Gyros are also amazing.

This is my favorite place for a burger! They have fat, mealy fries with delicious fry sauce, burgers with my favorite toppings already on them (fry sauce, lettuce, tomato, American cheese), and amazing baklava. Plus they have ginormous kids' meal combos, which is what I always get. This location is huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's not always completely clean, but it is fast food so I don't see that as a major issue. The staff here are also super nice! I accidentally came shortly before closing once and they assured us we could still order and eat in-house. Very kind of them. read more

It was late and hardly anyone was still open for the evening. My daughter found them thanks to the Yelp app, and they were very easy to find. My daughter wanted to try Apollo Burger. She ordered an Impossible Burger with onion rings, and I ordered a patty melt. It was good, but really greasy. The staff was nice and working hard. I couldn't help but notice that the building is very outdated and in disrepair. There are large sections of tiles missing in the bathroom, the booths in the dining room are dark and gloomy with fluorescent lighting overhead. Plan to spend AT LEAST 20 mins waiting to order and get your food. I usually do the drive through and I've never been done faster than that. I've even been stuck in the drive through for 45 minutes multiple times. That's not even with a really long line of cars, they are just that slow at taking orders and making food. I do really enjoy the Jr Apollo Burger though! From what I can tell, the only difference between the Regular and the Jr is the size of the drink and fries that come with it. I always have to double check how much they charge me when I get to the window because they often ring me up for the higher price, but still give me the smaller meal. read more

Update to my review: After confronting the manager regarding the oil saturated onion rings and filthy tables he re-rung a few things on his register and gave my wife a receipt showing that he had credited our card. No credit has ever come through on our account. Not only has the food slipped off the ladder but so has their integrity. Maybe they'll be able to salvage some equity from the real estate. The rings were fried nicely but the oil may have been due for a change as they were rancid tasting and super greasy as in leaking on my leather seats in a two mile ride to the office. The patty melt sandwich was meh, onions were grilled well and the patty had decent flavor but the rye bread was non-eventful in fact dry and flavorless as was the cheese. I've been spoiled with the quality of Astro Burger and Crown Burger in Salt Lake. This was not a even a shadow of their quality. Sadly the rings are outside in the dumpster they were not edible. This is my fourth time Here and likely my last. It just doesn't live up to the Greek establishments in Salt Lake. read more

The gyro was really good,and had alot of meat in it. The fries were hot and good. The only downside of this order was the Apollo sauce ( that I assume was for the fries) it tasted like thousand island dressing mixed with mayo. How often do we pull through a drive through to get a grilled cheese sandwich and in a three minute scenario find ourselves in precious tears along with the worker of the establishment and connecting with them on a deeper level? Well it happened to Nathanial and I this afternoon. Nathanial, thank you for treating me like family. Like a brother. Today I found myself on I-15 heading out of Salk lake and while on the freeway my stomach was aching. In that moment I knew I needed something simple and fast. I was hurting. I couldn't do a cheeseburger. Today I couldn't do something spicy. I needed something very simple and easy on my stomach. Then it hit me!! A grilled cheese at Apollo Burger!! I was so pumped and excited I couldn't wait. They were the next exit and right off the freeway. Even more I knew these guy would be good to me. They have always been good to me as I have seen them that way with others. I could count on it. Many times over the summer my eleven year old son and I went there to find them always polite. Always anxious to help and one of the most friendly groups of staff I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. Plenty of times over the summer Phoenix and I struggled to know what to have for lunch or dinner and when we finally realized that Apollo's grilled cheese were so good, they immediately became one of our favorite places to go. Thank you so very much Apollo Burger and your incredibly friendly staff. Not only are your hearts pure and clean but your restaurant equals the cleanliness and purity of your hearts. I called at 8:30pm 01/29/2023 to place an order for pick up. When someone picked up the phone they was rude for no reason. I informed him I wanted to place an other for pick up and he said "are you aware that we're closing in 30mins?" I told him never mind. My question is, does it take 30mins to make a burger and mozzarella sticks? Also is it common practice for an employee to say "Are you aware that we close in 30mins" ? The Apollo Booger location on Redwood Road at North Temple used to be pretty good for breakfast prior to the pandemic, but since then, it has consistently fallen flat on its face, Too bad. Food quality has become fair, Tables are dirty, food on the floor etc. How about this: On Three separate occasions between the. Hours of 8:00 - 10:00 AM the INSECT guy has shown up to spray down the dining area for bugs while I was eating!! And even worse when he was done I could smell the bug spray. Totally unbelievable and unacceptable in my opinion. Sorta like Wow!! They used to serve breakfast and have really great food. They appear to have fallen under control of an investment firm or big food conglomerate as they discontinued breakfast and cut back on the quality of their food. They used to be my favorite pastrami burger and fries place in Utah. Now they have fallen behind the others in the area due to cutting quality on their food I am done eating here. read more

I ate it and on the way home I looked at my receipt to see I paid for 1. my meal, 2. gratuity and 3. A 15$ charge for something Called "Yes!". I don't know what or if other weird charges are being charged but make sure to keep an eye out. We waited in line for 10 minutes, ordered, then got sent to park outside the drive through. Nearly 20 minutes to get food. Apollo Burger has been my go to burger joint for years. I have been a consistent and loyal customer visiting one or two times a week. However, they've recently gone cheap and switched over to Pepsi. I know the camps are divided but to me it makes a huge difference on how everything tastes. Unfortunately I'm going to have to find a new place. Wish you guys haven't messed with a good combination. I went to the website to give feedback and the only way to send an email is via the "contact us" tab however so many people must be complaining because even that doesn't work. Overall a decent experience! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and a fry, I also tried some onion rings. Everything came out exactly how I ordered it, which is always awesome, and the burger was the perfect combination of meaty and smokey. It was super huge too! The fries were a little mushy and thick, but they were a good palate cleanser in between burger bites. The price is a little steep, my family of 5 ordered burgers for all, two fries, and an onion ring. The total came out to be just under $40, hard to feel the pull to come back when I can get just as much food somewhere else for about half the price. The tables were clean, sauces were filled, napkin dispensers were full (although they put the napkins in upside down and backwards--but we fixed it, so you'll be hooked up fasho), and a complimentary mint to send us on our way wrapped it all up. All in all, if you're craving a hearty burger and have #DollaDollaBillzYo, this wouldn't be a bad choice.
