I really like this place! It is very clean. I always get the $43 deluxe pedicure. They scrub your legs, wrap them in hot towels, massage them, and dip your feet in a paraffin wax treatment. My nail polish lasts 2-3 weeks. It is a little pricey. read more

I was just here May 12th 2014 for a Spa Pedicure. It was my first pedicure, and I was nervous to have someone touching my feet! The gals working there were super friendly and so gentle, it really put me at ease. The decor was very cool (as in the temperature), and plain but tasteful. The atmosphere is calm and open. Getting my toes snipped at made me really tense and she gently reminded me to relax and enjoy myself. The chairs were super comfy, they had massage options. The water was hot and the pressure from the jets were heavenly! She massaged my calves with a nice salt scrub, and scrubbed at my heels with brushes. She asked many times if I was comfortable, making sure I was happy. She did a great paint job with a vibrant hot pink I picked out. I love it! After she was done my mother-in-law and I sat while our toes dried talking and waiting. They never pressured us to hurry along or leave, we sat enjoying the comfy chairs for another 20 minutes just chit-chatting. A week later it's chipped on my big toe in one spot, but for that service, and only $32 I'll be going back soon to relax and have my feet pampered again. With kids I'm surprised my paint even lasted THIS long. I know doing it myself would be so much more stressful than sitting there and getting pampered. Great place. read more

Finally get a chance to visit Apollo Nails. The salon is nicely decorated and seem very clean. The ladies all wear uniform and spoke to us clearly. Our pedi and mani came out looking great! They really took their time. Will definitely be coming back. read more

I really want to like this place, I've been there about 5 times for a pedicure. Usually the staff is pretty friendly, today no one was. It felt uncomfortable. I've never been totally satisfied with the pedicure I get there. Reason being they don't take the time to get all the calluses offmy feet. I went to the Silverdale Apollo Nail and Spa this morning at 9:30, that's when they open. I was greated warmly by the receptionist. As soon as the tub was filled with warm water I was invited to sit and soak my feet. I got the Mani/Pedi. I appreciate how clean the entire facility is. When I'm there someone is always cleaning. There is no smell either, I like that a lot. I go every four weeks or so. Always a pleasure to have Jenny give me a thorough scrub and nail trim. Going there every month is a important to me as getting a haircut. Do yourself a favor and get your claws trimmed! read more

This place is extraordinarily clean. I scheduled a pedicure after watching how thoroughly they cleaned the foot baths, along with every nook & cranny of the work surfaces & floors. The service is great & the pedicure & manicure quality was superb. It was refreshing not having anyone try to up-sell me on gel nails, etc. The spa manicure lasted for more than a week for me! Your typical strip mall mani-pedi place but nothing like you would expect of those places. In a great way! They have a front desk reception to actually take your calls, schedule appointments & ring up the sales after your appointment (so technicians can focus on pampering you)! I recently moved to Bremerton from Seattle and was searching for a great, yet inexpensive spa pedicure. I'm glad I trusted the reviews on Yelp and went to Apollo! From the online booking to the massage chairs, everything about this place is fantastic! The hot towels and lengthy leg massage were quite relaxing and even though the nail design was an additional fee of $5, the overall price was still a bargain! read more

Homecoming day was on the 13th and they ruined my nails... Okay so, honestly, this is a really bad place to get acrylics at. For one, they glue on your tips. They do not free form them! Or at least if you get a "full set acrylic". I don't see anything that says that they do free form. Anyways, back to the point. I got Kim as my nail tech and well, she's very nice and all, but she did a horrible job. When she was using the drill file, she kept messing up and she even cut my finger pretty deep. :( When she applied the acrylic on, it was VERY thick, and even though she did drill some of it down, it's still about 2mm thick on most fingers, and some around 1.5mm thick. Usually it's about 1 - 1.5 mm thick at most. She filed my nails very very unevenly. For example, on my right index finger, she drilled the "bottom" (the white tip she glued on) but not the top (actual acrylic) so it just looks like my nails are super wide at the top and there's even a glob she didn't even file down. I've done acrylics on my own nails before, and they looked so much more natural and even than when she did it. I feel like Kim doesn't do it very often, so that might be why.. but if it's not, then she's just really bad at it. My word of advice is: don't get acrylics from Kim. Try NiNi. She looks more professional and knowledgeable of what she's doing. They earned one star for the people being very nice & actually sparking up conversations and another star for how well clean and nice looking this place is. read more

Went in today for a full bikini waxing and I was pleased to see that they had so many available spots open..I should have known better. Normally I have to make my appointments at my typical waxing salon two weeks ahead just to get in. The young gal greeted me at the door and took me right back to the room. She made me very comfortable and asked if the temperature of the wax was too hot before even applying to my sensitive "down there" skin. The process began and she was gentle and apologetic for the sensitive areas, all seemed fine...until she reapplied wax to the same spot three times! She continued to place wax over my already bare and throbbing skin two and three times to get the hairs she was supposedly missing..!! They do not use strips here, just a wax that dries quickly and is a type of strip itself. I would have be ok with the product if it actually worked and not ripped the top of the hair out causing her to have to do it again and again! I was being patient and trying my best to not overreact. She finished up with a few tweezer pulls and was finished in less than 30 minutes, I was shocked when she said she was done. A normal wax takes about 45 to an hour especially for a full Brazillian. Then without showing me anything in a mirror or asking me if it was ok, she just said thank you and walked out. I immediately got up to check it out and I was so swollen I couldn't believe it. The lighting in the room was a less than ideal for inspecting so it was hard for me to see in detail how she had done. I got dressed, paid( left a ridiculously great tip too!), and in excruciating pain walked to my car and headed home. When it had been 8 full hours since my wax and I decided to inspect since the swelling had mostly gone down. Worst. Wax. Ever. I could have done it better myself! There are multiple hair spots still there, and so many single hairs still intact around the whole area I do not even know how she missed them. I had to finish the job myself with tweezers...OUCH! For $65 I think I got absolutely ripped off. Anyway, two stars because the service was nice and the place was clean but I will NEVER go back here for a wax again. Great place--hip decor, great chairs, attentive staff...could go on and on. Appts are the way to go as this place is super busy. We have been unable to walk in when we wanted and be helped as there were so many on the list for that day. The staff is the best that I have been to in the Silverdale area. I have gone there and everyone seems like they have never seen me before even though I have been going since the week they opened in Silverdale. Just left here for yhe first time. It looked nice inside and was busy so I thought it would be a great pedicure. Boy was I wrong. It started out with lukewarm water to soak my feet in while waiting for a lady. The worst part was the "massage". I give myself a better massage when I put on my lotion. They lady literally rubbed my legs for 10 minutes like she was applying sunscreen, no pressure at all. After she polished my toes she asked me to sit for a bit, which I did. About 3-5 min later she came back, put my sandals on me and thanked me. I went up to pay and was asked how everything was. Now, I'm not one to really complain in person. I always feel awkward. The lady at the counter asked how everything was, I said it was alright. Hoping she would catch on. She didn't and said great! The kicker is when I got home I noticed my polish was smudged from the lady putting my sandals on me. Very unsatisfied after paying $32. Update....they are going to fix my polish so that makes me a little happier. read more

I went here for a Mani/Pedi combo as a present to myself. It was so relaxing and nearly empty, which was nice. For a simple manicure and pedicure I ended up getting very pampered. They have a lot of nail polish options and the manicurist didn't bother me. It seemed very hygienic to me and I didn't get any cuts. My only issue is that when I got home I realized my toenails were painted a different color than my fingernails. How that happened -- I have no idea. It wasn't busy so there wasn't any chaos or running around so I'm just a bit confused and bummed. But I still love the colors and she did a good job. read more

I've gotten shellac manicures and my lashes done here. Both were done well. Shellac lasted two weeks. Lashes were great. I saw some other reviews where people had problems. I've had mine done four times here and they've always been done well. I had a bikini, arm and leg wax. No problems there either, but the waxes (versus the other services) seemed a little expensive. Recommend this salon as it's very clean, people are friendly and they offer a full range of beauty services. read more

First and last time patron. The customer service was that of an understaffed amusement park. My technician was less than impressive...a simple french pedicure seemed beyond her capabilities. Today I tried an European facial with Jenny. It was outstanding the say the least. I left the salon in a relaxed daze. My skin is glowing, soft and smooth. The entire experience was a delight. Jenny always goes the extra mile to make sure her service is top notch. The facial far exceeded any expectations I previously had. I went with a friend to get a pedicure. I specifically stated on the phone that I wanted someone with good, strong hands. The person on the phone understood me and spoke English very well. We get there, I help my friend settle in and the woman starts to work on me. I told her I didn't want my nails painted just the polish removed, nails trimmed, and a good massage. She does the cleaning and the trimming. She goes to massage and I swear it was the lightest touch I have ever felt! I look at what she is doing and I noticed her nails were very long and acrylic! I understand you want to have nice nails at a nail establishment but not to the point that it hinders your job!!! Not only that, my pedicure lady seemed like she was going to fall asleep at my feet. I work very hard for my money and when I pay for a service that, that is not something I want to experience. For nearly four hours of my work at my job I pay for a service that last one hour! read more

I got a shellac mani there and paid way to much for the quality that I got. The day after I got it done I noticed my nail color was uneven and bubbly. I was disappointed. worst wax ever!! She tore the skin off under my brows!! I asked for them to be not too thin and they are very thin, but the worst part is the open wounds under my brows!! I was very disappointed today due to the nail tech. I really wanted to like this place. The spa was well lit, beautiful, and the techs used steral equipment. I called in advance and made an apointment for both me and my friend to get mani/pedis today at the same time. I was assured that this would be fine. My friend and I arived on time picked colors out of disappointing poor quality nail polish. I could buy this chipping gunk at Walmart. The one good thing was the seats they were amazing and gave great massages. Unfortunately, I expected more from the mani/pedi that I spent $50+ on than a compfortable massage chair. The tech who did my friend was phenomenal she was there quickly and started right away keeping an eye on how much time she spent with everything and did a great job. My tech showed up late and left early. I did not get a quality massage or care she obviously did not want to be there and would dissappear for 5 min at a time leaving me sitting there with cold towels on my legs. My tech also made faces at the other girls, skiped steps, did not spend enough time on any part of my mani pedi, keept coughing on me, and spoke to the other techs in another language rather than speaking to me at all. The tech not only arived late my friend was started befor me but she left early while my friend was still geting her nails done and we got the same package! I am so disappointed I really was expecting a better experience. read more

The worst. I've been here several times and each time is the same. First, they just start filing away without asking what shape you like so I had to grab a file and sand down the points she had so carefully created. And hang onto your cuticles, ladies, cuz these people will draw blood. It's happened to me at least twice here. Next, they frequently use old polish which is too thick and it streaks when applied. Rather than quickly recognizing that they are using old polish and adding remover or switching to a new bottle, they try to rectify the streaky situation by applying THREE coats which takes two hours to dry. My fingers looked like 10 wads of bubble gum and I had spent over an hour in the salon. To add insult to injury, it smudged when I went to the grocery store 90 minutes later. Ugh. Forget trying to explain why you're dissatisfied as nobody seems to understand a thing you're talking about. I felt like Elaine in the episode of Seinfeld when she gets a manicure and all the technicians are talking in Vietnamese about her. Comical yet frustrating at the same time!
