Hiten and his team worked with me on some of the blurry issues my original file had and they fixed it and made it work. I found this place back in 1999 (they were a Sir Speedy location then) when I was looking for a printer to do my club flyers. They were quick and competitively priced, but it was Dann and Ken's personal attention to such a tiny printing job that really won me over. When by chance I came across the bill for what my company (day job) was paying for their printing, I phoned Dann up and asked if he could give me a quote on the same job. They came in substantially lower and won the business. That was 10 years ago now and they are still doing our printing. Since then I also used them at another job I had to print up 1,000 catalogs (130 page catalogs with aqueous coated full color covers) at another job I had. These guys care about you and they don't even know you. Here's my story. I ordered thirty booklets with coil bindings on behalf of my organization which happens to be a bank. They were prompt and professional and the finished product was high quality, but it gets deeper than that. When I opened the book, I was aghast to find the table of contents missing. We reviewed the emails and it became evident that it was my fault. Despite the disruption I brought to the business, nobody's morale at the workplace seemed to be affected. Instead, the owner worked with his teammate to help resolve my problem immediately. I didn't even know the person helping was the owner, as his easy going personality gave the vibe of someone far removed from the stresses of bureaucracy. I came here for thank you cards and program booklets at the eleventh hour (more on this later). The prints came out beautifully, but you can say that other print shops can do the same. What sets Apollo apart from other printers is that they truly care about their customers. They work with you to make sure your prints come out exactly how you intended it, even if you made a mistake with your file. I'm impressed by how professional everything was, and I too have worked with other printers in the past. Back to my last minute crisis...Apollo turned things around in time, though I certainly do not condone living with constant high levels of adrenaline to get to your deadlines. If you are in a time crunch, however, my recommendation is to make it the easiest for them. 1) Bring in your files in vector format (preferably in Adobe Illustrator), and 2) make sure to include the fonts that you used. Best of all, give them some time to proof-read your files and get back to you if there are any questions. I've been fortunate to have worked with Lisa and Maria.
