Finally got ahold of auction place to get my things after days of no contact, and this towing company stole most of the things out of my care. I will be generous with a 1 star review as I was able to retrieve my car within 24 hours. First off, I will say do NOT waste your time calling. As soon as I received location and phone number of my vehicle I began calling to "schedule" an appointment for pickup. I spent countless hours calling and leaving voicemails. I then decided to drive out to Tigard and see if I could find someone and retrieve my vehicle. When I arrived to the vehicle I made another call and was forwarded to a voicemail stating that it was "after hours" even though it was before 5pm. I arrived and knocked, nothing. As I proceeded to leave the property a nice gentlemen outside waved me down and let me know of frustrations from customers with Apollo Recovery Services. Same issue as mine, countless phone calls, voicemails and no response from anyone leaving folks to have their car stuck for days, all while charging fees. I turned around and began banging on the door until a nice lady answered and helped me. I was able to identify my vehicle and PAY to retrieve it. She only then mentioned that there were no tow guys around to come get my vehicle out of the building and that I could return later that evening (around 10pm). I was given a release form and my KEY. Fast forward to 10 pm I return to the building, my car has not been pulled out yet so I begin knocking. Another woman answers stating that she does not work for Apollo and can try helping me. I provide them with the form from earlier and she proceeds to try to charge me AGAIN. I told her, I received this form and my car key after I paid earlier but that didn't count as a receipt so I had to RE PAY to retrieve my car. Next we had to still wait for another tow truck driver to come to pull my car back. Moral of the story, don't call just show up. Also their office hours are 9-4. They are NOT open 24 hours. And make sure to get a payment receipt not just a release waiver or else they will make you pay multiple times before releasing the vehicle. My 2018 Toyota got repossessed on May 21st of 2024. I'm not making a complaint towards the fact that it was something that I had to deal with. I am however making this because of everything in between. I had taken care of the financial mess with my lender, and had also paid my invoice with the mother company, United Recovery and Remarketing on Tuesday, May 28th. I received an address for Apollo then, but I wasn't able to get the phone number until after I talked with UR&R. I finally was able to contact Apollo on Wednesday the 29th. I scheduled an appointment for 10am, and then had to reschedule for the next day, the 30th of May for 4pm. My car had already been there for 9 nights and the lady over the phone said my price would stay at $160 when I would go to pick up my car. I ended up going with a family member to my appointment for 4pm on 05/30/2024, and when we got there, there were no signs whatsoever pointing us to where Apollo was supposed to be. The street address was wrong, there were no signs, and when we finally decided to walk up to a different towing lot to ask where Apollo was supposed to be, that's when we were told by an employee with Retriever Recovery that the pod was shared and the lady that worked with Apollo left early. I had to leave and went back the next day (5/31) without an appointment and tried to catch the employee before she went home so I would be able to get my car back before it was auctioned off over the weekend. Got to the window. No one from Apollo was there. The same man from Retriever was there and informed me that the lady had left before 12pm for the day. He then had to handle business matters for Apollo with me instead of the genuine Apollo employee, and was the one that released my car to me. I was charged $220 instead of the $160 I was promised to stay at. It was also impossible to get a hold of ANYONE on the phone. Very unprofessional, and feels like one big scam. Kudos to the man from Retriever that made ONE phone call to get my vehicle back as compared to over a dozen (mostly ignored/not picked up) phone calls that I personally made to get my affairs in order. Apollo needs to either be put through a very thorough amount of training and actually hire on some employees, or they need to go out of business. read more

This place is a joke and thief. I had my vehicle repoed and was in jail. I got out of jail got ahold of my lender paid my bill. The recovery place (Apollo) told me vehicle was there 2 days after it had been moved and didn't tell me I could get my personal items but said it was with truck all a lie. After paying another bill to get truck back and having to wait over weekend when I could of gotten personal belongings already. I had to make an appointment that was canceld by Apollo so I just showed up at 9am. I only got back part of my personal belongings for there was brand new saw blades various types for different saws missing quite a few over half. But the biggest surprise was $860 dollars in cash was missing with the people at the desk assured me no one went under seat yet my gun was under seat and that was returned. I have hidden cameras in my speakers that I don't tell anyone about but after asking and filing a complaint that was never answered looks like I have to file a report with police and find other ways to file a claim with there insurance cause they stole like they are the criminal. I would never recommend a company that advertisea how much they take pride in being and doing there job yet steal from people and lie about it.
