The place is very cute! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I don't know the names of the desserts we got but I can describe them. There was an apple and lemon and a pistachio mouse and the last one was chocolate mouse s'more thing. The apple looked like an apple but was filled with cream and apple chunks and cinnamon and the cookie base also had apple pie filling. It was very light in flavor and looked so cute you didn't want to cut it. The lemon looked like a lemon but was filled with lemon cream inside with a cookie base that it sat on. The flavor was so lemony it was very good. The chocolate mouse tasted like a dark chocolate mousse with a sprinkle of biscoff cookie sprinkles and chocolate fudge. If you want chocolate that's the one. My favorite was the pistachio it had so much flavor you can taste the pistachio and the mousse was so creamy the top was crispy and crunchy to give more texture. The base was great. I would definitely get the pistachio mousse again and again.

This bakery is beautiful and has a nice outdoor seating area. The pastries were pretty expensive and I found them to be a bit underwhelming. The lemon tart crust was really tough to bite because of how hard it was. The lemon part was just ok. The trendy mango had a chocolate shell that was kind of melty (was looking for a crack). The inside was creamy with some mango bits inside but a bit bland overall. The croissant texture wasn't quite flaky and there was way too much cream on top.

Beautiful place with nice workers! Got a free sample of a matcha pastry and the basil mozzarella baked good I had was delicious. Would definitely recommend their almond croissant; it's my go-to!

I have been here plenty of times! I went in this day after seeing their viral fruit cakes and decided to get a few. While this place is defiantly in the pricey side the quality is amazing. The downtown Farmington location does not have great seating and is only good for take out as well as the parking isn't the best. The service was good, but I did go on a not so busy weekday.

Usually, I get their cakes or macarons, and they are always good. I never had their croissant before and it is disgusting. Texture is like a piece of clay/dough and too much butter. Store bought croissant is better than this. Also they dare to charge $7.5 for it. What a waste.

Easily my favorite spot in downtown Farmington! I live for their blueberry croissants and a cafe miel. Staff is always friendly and you can usually grab a seat and enjoy the ambiance if they're not too busy

I have been to Cannelle's Birmingham location before and I've heard of its reputation as a fabulous patisserie, so I was excited to see they now have a downtown Farmington location. I was seeing a movie at the Farmington Civic and decided I would stop in if they were still open tonight, and they were. As one of the other reviews here says, the pastry case definitely catches your eye as soon as you walk in. Everything looked super nice and also delicious. It was hard to choose just two items for myself and my husband. I will say most items range from $8-9, which for me is a little bit on the pricey side, but they all looked really fresh and amazing. I ended up getting some sort of mango cake and also a PB&J pastry. I haven't tried them yet but they both look delicious so I'm excited to try them out today or tomorrow. There is an area to sit and it looks like they have a little outdoor seating area as well. I realize it's been open for over a year now according to other reviews here but it should be a pretty nice addition to the downtown Farmington scene.

Another great Canelle location! I've been to the Birmingham and Ann Arbor locations in the past and I was surprised to see that this location has hot food! I ordered the almond croissant (my normal go to) but I also ordered the caprese (heated) and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted so fresh and I loved every bite. I came early on a Sunday and it was relatively slow. I believe the almond croissant was almost $6 and the caprese was $11. I do think the croissants are the best thing on the menu, however for $6 each I think it's pricy! However, I don't come very often so this is normally just a treat when I buy at Canelle. Although pricy, every once in a while it's very worth it!

We came back for my little one's second birthday to make her day special. She picked out a mousse cake and a macaron and they were both SO good!

I've been a fan since the store opened downtown Detroit so I was thrilled to see a location closer to me in the suburbs. We found ourselves with some free time on a cold wintery Sunday morning and decided this would be a great time to check it out. Walking in you can't help but be dazzled by the delicious desserts that await you. But don't forget to try a croissant, they are light and flaky and will win you over in a heartbeat. We always do something savory and something sweet, it's the perfect combo. They also offer lots of different coffee choices. I loved the soft jazz playing in the background. One word of warning is this store is small... Like only 4 tables small. We ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes for a table, and it was a fun place to spend a Sunday morning but I wish they had a bigger space for tables. It does look like they have a patio so during the warmer months there is more seating. Also, just a warning that one of the doors is right where the tables are and if you go on a super cold day be prepared for a blast of cold air every few moments. I would still go back but maybe not on a busy, cold winter day.

I was happy to see another bakery in downtown Farmington. I always enjoy a good bakery but this one is a little fancy for my taste. More European than old fashion. I got a few things that had raspberry and they were good but expensive. Maybe I am out of the target demographics, since it's a busy place. The drinks and food are available so you can grab breakfast, brunch or lunch also. Has street parking along with a lot next to it. Small eating area in the back and some outside. I am glad I tried it but want a bakery with sugar cookies and regular cakes and cupcakes.

Very nice, but definitely on the pricey end. This is a charming little cafe, and the coffee drinks are really good, but they do take their time getting drinks to the table. We had some iced lattes and coffees and we really liked them, but the wait was a bit of a pain. The ambiance is super charming, very French patisserie style and relaxing, with a little al fresco seating (weather permitting, lol), and we really enjoyed the decor and such. We also ordered some pastries and they were very good, pricey, but very delicious. Love the relaxing ambiance and delectable treats. Service was not super friendly, but efficient and they did take their time, but it is worth it.

The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. This is so good it is actually worth going out of your way to get it!

For some reason, this area is just packed with unique brunch style restaurants and Leeza's is apart of it. Absolutely incredible menu. I love seafood brunch, and this is one of the few places that has shrimp, crab, lobster and salmon available in a variety of dishes. Another item that was unique and incredible was the Potato Pancake Benedict. As someone who is a previous Eggs Benedict addict, but who tries to avoid bread, the Potato Pancake Benedict is one of the best brunch innovations I've seen in the last 3 years. They let you use the modification with any of their Benedict offerings, so I choose to use it on the Crab Cake Benedict. I absolutely loved it. The Crab Cake didn't overdo it on the Cake, and was properly filled with crab (as it should be). The Hollandaise had a great (but not overpowering) flavor and had a nice, thick texture. The dish was an awesome revelation, and I'll be coming back because I don't know anyone else who has it Because I had the Potato Pancakes, I decided to go with the grits as my side and, again, they were unique and high quality. I got the butter and cheese grits and they were incredibly creamy with great, fresh cheese flavor. You also got a great portion, which was much appreciated. The waitress we had was awesome and my coffee was hot, high quality, and filled multiple times. The place has a ton of booths and parking is fine for the most part. This is a spot with so many good menu items that you have to visit multiple times to get the full picture. I'll be updating the review with any other dishes I try.

I couldn't eat the eggs. They were dry and overcooked. Actually the whole meal was dry. Definitely not worth the $ when I would have gotten more food for less cost if I had ordered the veggie omelette. I do not recommend this dish. My husband had a corned beef omelette. He said it was fine but not fabulous. His hash browns needed to be cooked longer. He did enjoy the cinnamon raisin toast. Doubt that we will return. Oh yes, the place could use a good deep cleaning.
