Wanted to try a new massage studio and found A Beautiful Day Spa on Yelp…read more I have a hard time finding a strong masseuse who actually gets all my knots out so I was really hoping I would have a great massage after reading all the good reviews. I had Cindy today and she exceeded all my expectations! Her massage style was the perfect mix of relaxing but strong. I have chronic back pain and I felt so much relief. This is going to be my new go-to spot for massages!! Dustin at the front desk was so friendly and made me feel welcome and Cindy was just amazing. I can't wait to come back.

What an amazing experience!…read more I got a gift certificate for Christmas and I couldn't wait to book since I experience chronic pain in my back. Once I got there I was easily checked in and asked to fill the form of where I would like to focus on/avoid which I really appreciated. I highlighted my shoulders/traps area since that is where I carry most of my tension and pain. Upon entering the treatment room, it was quaint and perfect. My therapist started off in the areas that I experience the most pain and quickly helped me relieve the tenderness in those areas which I was so grateful for. I've been into countless other massage rooms where I spend nearly an arm and a leg and don't even provide any relief like my therapist Tina did! I was sooo so grateful, I could've cried. Throughout the whole treatment I felt really comforted and taken care of. Her touch was firm but most of all, perfect. The technique was unlike any other massage I've had in the best way possible. It felt like a lot of acupressure involved which I appreciated. The music was serene and the essential oils really help you relax! The 60 minutes felt like an eternity but in the best way possible because you just feel so well taken care of. Every minute feels set with intention. Thank you so much ABD Spa and Tina!! I am so grateful and can't wait to book my next appointment!

I had such a great experience at this newly-opened-spa in Pasadena! From the moment I walked in,…read moreeveryone was incredibly welcoming. The receptionist, Nancy, was so warm and friendly, which set the tone for the whole visit. Crystal, who worked on my hair, was amazing She was very attentive to my needs and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She even provided a mini facial and a soothing neck and arms massage during the service--both were extremely relaxing! I enjoyed my visit so much that I ended up purchasing their gift certificates because I definitely want to come back to try their full facial and massage services next time. The massage studio is conveniently located right beside the spa, and I learned they share the same owner, which explains why the experience feels seamless and well-coordinated. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to unwind and be taken care of by genuinely kind and skilled staff!

I agree with the other 3 star review here. It's okay, but not anything special…read more Parking; Came at 530pm on a Saturday and had to park on the curb at Tierra Mia because the lot was full. Noise/Vibe: SOOOO incredibily noisy. I came in a minute before my appointment and the workers were frantic, running around and speaking anxiously and it wasn't a huge deal, no one was rushing them and they were still checking out the previous appointment. Then they asked me if I wanted to buy a gift card for a couple hundred dollars (it was my first time there???). Also tried to upsell while I was on the table and again at check out. This was the biggest thing. The whole point is to relax and even when I was in the room I still heard the customers and staff talk so loudly. Other places I've been to always have quiet signs and the staff also speak softly. The facialist was slamming boxes in the room and also had to refill the water twice (never had that happen ever) Facial: Was okay. Average products. She used a suction thing and rather than drag it on my face she tapped it and pulled at my skin. She also caught my nose ring after I told her I had one and she was like "oh it hurts?" and I was like yeah when I have something pull it hurts. She did do extractions which was nice but said the time would come off my massage, which I did appreciate about the communication. If I needed an "emergency" facial, maybe. Otherwise I'd just drive to Wi Spa or Korea town and get the whole vibe for the same $100

My wife and I recently visited Bamboo Creek Spa for a couples massage…read more We were able to walk in and they accommodated us right away, which we really appreciated. The price was reasonable, and the oil massage itself was good. They also used hot stones, which added a nice relaxing touch. Communication over the phone beforehand was a bit challenging due to a language barrier. We initially called just to check availability. Shortly after, they texted us their business card, which felt unexpected since we already had their information and that's why we called in the first place. We've never had a business text their card unless we asked for it. They then called again, which came across a little pushy rather than simply informational. The biggest downside during the massage was privacy and time. The door to our room was left open, and other workers and clients were walking past, which made it hard to fully relax. Also, my massage therapist stepped out during the session to assist someone at the front desk and did not make up for the time. Another comfort issue: they placed a paper towel over the face cradle where you rest your head. It made breathing difficult, and I actually had to poke a hole in it to breathe more comfortably. Most massage places use a breathable cover or cloth instead. One small but noticeable thing: most massage places offer water before or after the session, and that wasn't offered here. Overall, the massage itself was solid and the walk-in availability was convenient. With better privacy, a more relaxed communication approach, and a few comfort and hospitality improvements, the experience could be much better.
