What an amazing experience! I got a gift certificate for Christmas and I couldn't wait to book since I experience chronic pain in my back. Once I got there I was easily checked in and asked to fill the form of where I would like to focus on/avoid which I really appreciated. I highlighted my shoulders/traps area since that is where I carry most of my tension and pain. Upon entering the treatment room, it was quaint and perfect. My therapist started off in the areas that I experience the most pain and quickly helped me relieve the tenderness in those areas which I was so grateful for. I've been into countless other massage rooms where I spend nearly an arm and a leg and don't even provide any relief like my therapist Tina did! I was sooo so grateful, I could've cried. Throughout the whole treatment I felt really comforted and taken care of. Her touch was firm but most of all, perfect. The technique was unlike any other massage I've had in the best way possible. It felt like a lot of acupressure involved which I appreciated. The music was serene and the essential oils really help you relax! This is a great place for accupuncture as well as massages. Dr. George is attentive to what you need and doesn't simply stick a few needles randomly and then leave you to lie there for thirty minutes. He works with you and your body until the right spot is found where the needle goes. He spent a good thirty minutes working on my body with his fingers to find the spot where each needle was to go. The heatlamp he used was soothing. Once he finds all the places for every needle needed, he lets you rest there for 10-minutes before he calmly removes each needle. You will feel light-headed when it's over, so take it easy. read more

Parking can be a bit tricky, but they do offer two reserved parking spots directly behind the business, as well as two additional reserved spots in the Lake Parking Structure--just make sure to get parking validation from them, which was helpful. I live in the neighborhood and somehow never noticed this day spa right next to the post office until recently. How could that happened? They have two parking spots in the back, but they were already taken when I arrived. Street parking is available, and they also validate parking at the Lake parking structure. I found one-hour street parking on Mentor, and since parking is free after 6 pm, it worked out perfectly for my 5 o'clock appointment. Check-in was quick and easy, and the massage itself was solid. My only complaint was that the hot stones were a bit too hot and occasionally felt uncomfortable. That said, the therapist did focus on the areas I marked on the sheet at check-in and I really appreciate that. I made every effort to let the employees here know that I needed someone who is really strong to do deep tissue on me because I have insane neck knots that cause headaches. My traps are super stiff from stress and bad posture. The person that helped me booked me with Annie. Annie was good and had a firm grip, but I think I need a male masseuse for a way stronger/ more painful grip strength. I was hoping Annie would focus on my neck more, but she massaged my whole body (which was great), but I really just needed 60mins on releasing my neck tension. I didn't quite get enough neck time, nor did I get any focus on releasing my specific knots. This was a nice experience and a good price point, but I just needed it to be more location-focused. My husband and I tried out this massage spa for our first time during the summer time last year. We booked a couples massage that same morning, as we were driving from Northern California. When we first entered the spa, there was a small line of people waiting to be seen for their appointments. And one guest was checking out, the guest spoke to the front desk representative as if he knew her, and they conversed as if they were good friends. Right away, I had a reassuring feeling that this spot was going to be good! And we were correct. The massage therapists were amazing (I wish I remembered their names)! They provided just the right amount of pressure, and even included hot stones. They were attentive and communicative throughout the massage and asked how we were doing during the massage. I was having horrible neck pain for over a week and decided to book a massage to help the pain. I was able to book online a few days in advance, but the weekend spots do book up quicker as expected. They sent detailed parking instructions via text a day before my appointment. They have two dedicated spots in the lot behind them. However, luckily, I was able to find free street parking around the block. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and checked in with the host. You fill out a paper where you can circle areas you want your masseuse to focus on and/or avoid as well as the strength. I ended up in one of the curtain-ed off "rooms" but it felt very private as the curtains were pretty much floor to ceiling and it's super dark. However, if you were to make noises, your neighbor could probably hear. They do have rooms too but I don't know if it's a lottery system on who gets curtain vs door. My massage was amazing. I think her name was Zoe(?). She really got so many of my knots out and it was such a relaxing experience. I literally did not want it to end. I did get the signature full body massage so they massage everything from your neck to your butt to your feet. She'll get on the bed and use a good amount of pressure as well as stretch you out. I've never had a massage that ever started late. I do recommend always heading a little early because if the parking spots fill up in the back then you will need to go to the lot. I came in this weekend for a Full Body Signature Massage or Swedish Massage (60 min) with Sofia and it was great! I booked the Massage because it was affordable. On the day of my appointment, I received detailed instructions on the parking situation which I appreciated. The masseuse did fine and they do offer you an intake form at the beginning to indicate which areas to focus on and level of strength, but I still don't think the masseuse found my knots compared to a few other places I've gone to that will really tailor the experience based on your problematic places. The masseuse just seemed to go through her entire 1 hour routine as expected. The total came to $70, which I thought was very reasonable for a massage these days. My massage therapist, Wendy, was phenomenal. She gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had! She was thorough, working on my entire body while giving extra attention to my problem areas: neck, shoulders, and back. I left feeling a bit sore, but it was the good kind of soreness that you can tell all the knots had been worked out. The front desk staff was also welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I love that when you check in, they have a small paper with areas of focus and amount of pressure for your massage [light, medium, hard] or deep tissue (extra charge). I've never seen a massage spa that also includes head and feet massages as a part of their regular package. There are different massage rooms. I had the curtain room that was split with another individual. I appreciate that the ambiance is very quiet and everyone is respectable of a serene environment. You are able to fully undress for a more comfortable experience. I was a little skeptical of the head massage but it was SOO relaxing. Pressure was perfect and I never had to remind her to go lighter. I wish the feet massage had more technique but it was still enjoyable. They provided ample time to undress and redress before entering. I look forward to coming back monthly. They do offer a $5 cash discount. I recommend you check your change before leaving. The hour massage was $55 and I gave a $15 tip. I gave her an $80 bill and she only gave me $5 back. Luckily I caught it before leaving and she kindly apologized for the mistake. I liked how the masseuse did not go in and out multiple times throughout the massage. Also I liked how my masseuse used a combination of arm and fingers (some places use mostly arm I feel like). He mentioned that booking this appointment over the phone was very easy and the lady receptionist was very helpful, patient and friendly. Parking in the back was a bit confusing and seemed to be limited. I ended up opting to park on the side street for free and walked the extra few minutes to the massage business.
