Absolutely delicious! I ordered for pickup and my ordered was ready right on time. The food is truly top notch. Great ingredients with standout flavors, although a tad bit salty. Here's what we had... The shallot wontons are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and a bold onion-y flavor. You can taste the quality of the beef in the burger, and the Apothik has bold miso mustard, pickles, and bacon layered on top. The veggie burger is one of the best I've had. The patty wasn't super crispy, but it tasted great with the ginger and turmeric seasoning. The toppings are pretty standard burger add ons. read more

Super easy 5 stars, in my opinion. We went here once when the eatery was still small and they didn't really have alcohol and still enjoyed it. And we are so glad we came back! Cocktail options were unique and absolutely fantastic. I know they change out their food and drink menus pretty frequently so they may not have them again, but we had the Dragon's Breath Margarita, Smokeshow, Chai Bourbon Flip, and the Thyme for a Cocktail... All were amazing. They all had unique ingredients, made even more unique by all of the house made ingredients they use (they make their own syrups and shrubs). The Smokeshow was probably the best one, but all were great. The food was also spectacular. We had the Dan Dan Noodles, Black Bean Burger, Spicy Pork Ramen, and Korean Pot Roast. Everyone loved their food. Everything they do is so unique. Even the black bean burger (ginger and turmeric it said) was unlike any other black bean burger I've ever had. The Dan Dan Noodles knocked our socks off as well. Love that they use so many local and housemade ingredients. We spent quite a bit of time talking to Alec (manager) and Devan at the bar, and they were great, as was all the other staff we interacted with. Easy 5 star rating, we'll be back!! read more

I've heard a lot of great stuff about apothik's food truck, however; we decided to dine in at their restaurant. The service was great and super friendly. Drink menu has a great selection. We got the spicy pork ramen and duck eggrolls. We were a bit disappointed in both orders. The duck eggrolls were very salty, we couldn't finish half of one eggroll. The spicy pork Ramen isn't what you would expect. It's more spicy as in black pepper and ginger, with a hint of sweetness from the squash. Each topping was great individually. But to mix it all in, it was not a hit for me. Since this was my first time, I would like to go back to try other dishes. However this time was a miss for me. I still have a 4 star because the friendly bartender and I see potential in this place. read more

Food was great and service was great. I got the black bean burger and enjoyed it, it got soggy pretty quickly though. The fries were amazing. My friend got the ramen and said it was good. The interior is dark and the art feels out of place. It also has a strange smell that resembled old cigarette smoke. They need better signage which I'm sure is being worked on. This will for sure be a go to spot for me in La Crosse, I just hope they rethink the atmosphere. read more

I'd rate this at 4.5 stars, so I'll round up to 5. Opening week, I was a bit disappointed with one dish I tried, but they have revamped their menu each week and things have only been getting better. The Happy Hour options for drink and food are quite nice. Just know that if you are ordering one of the special fries that they could be considered meal rather than just a starter...which isn't a negative, these have been excellent with both the Kimchi and the Birria fries. As much as I love the food when they had their food truck during the summer; unfortunately, I was really disappointed during my experience when I decided to do a pick up order. I ordered online with later pick up time, paid online and they still didn't have my order ready. I gave them a 4 hour window. I was hoping to pick up and head out but ended up waiting for almost 30 mins for a pick up order that should have already been ready. I understand it's busy and maybe there isn't enough staffed but not a single acknowledgment or sorry given. The Food here is always delish but service could use a pick me up. *edit, I changed my rating up to a 4 because although I had poor service in the beginning. The lady who gave me my order - 30 some minutes later - genuinely apologized. I know it's a small thing but kindness goes a long way. Also, food was bomb as always. Had a great dinner via carry out, two nights ago. Apothik burger was delicious; mushrooms and thick bacon were perfect. Best fries in town. Lemon cake was delicious and perfectly balanced. I am not a huge Food Truck fan, so a 4-Star review from me is really good! We stumbled across this Truck at The Cameron Park Farmers Market. Diane had the Summer Quesadilla and I had the Caprese Flatbread. We also split a side dish of Corn, Chorizo, Cheese and Herbs. Everything was good. The Quesadilla had Chicken and a ton of Vegetables. My Flatbread was actually a sandwich, but did have amazingly fresh Tomatoes, Sweet Basil and wonderful Mozzarella. The side dish was the best of the things we tried. Sweet, Spicy and Savory. We loved every bite. Service was slow, but at least in my experience, every Food Truck is. The staff was friendly and helpful. If we run across Apothik again, we will definitely give them another try. read more

I went to dinner here last week and good ramen but service is not their strong suite unless you're coming in to buy a lot of drinks and fit their "cool tattooed white midwest hipster" vibe. We were rushed out of there so quick it's not even funny, basically got the check with the food. Not even a thank you for the tip or an acknowledgement when we left or a proper greeting or welcome when we arrived. If you don't fit the mold I'd suggest another place to eat, not an inclusive or friendly place at all as it's clear they are interested in catering to a specific core audience. read more

Last summer, five stars. This summer: SO disappointed. We looked forward to this all winter, and this was a huge letdown. We got the Nathan's tacos and the noodles (pork belly ramen). What happened?! Eight months ago, the portions were worth the money and the flavors were excellent. Today? $7 for 2 mediocre tacos (where did all that complexity go) and $9 for a small bowl of lukewarm ramen that no joke, had a half cup of noodles in it, 2 small slices of pork belly, an egg, and 2 bamboo strips. Did ownership or management change? This was worth about half of what it cost. Giant bummer. PS: we walked a block away to Big Boar BBQ and got a real (and excellent) lunch. read more

What a find! I was in La Crosse for a conference and was in search for alternatives to the conference food. So happy I stumbled upon this tasty truck!! They are open at 7am for breakfast next door to a fantastic coffee shop. So you can grab an excellent espresso drink and go sit outside or bring your food into the coffee shop. I had their avocado banquette toast two mornings in a row. It's topped with two fried eggs, greens and a delicious sauce. Perfect breakfast! They have a small selection that changes every week. They move to a different location a couple of blocks away by a brewery for dinner. For lunch I had the pork ramen. Delicious!! Thank you Apothik for saving me from the conference food!! read more

I read an article about this place opening up in La Crosse. Rarely do I eat at food trucks because they're not common in this area. I decided to try this place out when they were parked at the Cameron St. Farmers' Market. I hear they change location frequently, but their schedule is on their website. I had the tonkatsu (pork) ramen. I've never really had ramen outside of my own poor college funds, but this ramen was absolutely out of this world. The pork was delicious, everything was fresh, and it was definitely worth the money. I would definitely go back to try out their other menu choices. They do accept credit cards which is great! First time trying Apothik food. They were located at the Omni Center in Onalaska today. I ordered the pesto toast, it was quite good and well priced ($5.50). My problem was with the poached egg, and the reason for the 3 stars. I could understand a completely over cooked poached egg, which I would expect to actually never know about because the cook should redo it until it's right. However, I have no idea how a poached egg can have an over cooked yolk, but raw whites! How is that even possible? That is exactly how my poached egg was. The truck was not busy, and I actually almost said something about it immediately, but decided not to.
