After multiple attempts of dining in, I finally made it today after several months. I'm not sure how i should put it. But it seems quality has gone down. We ordered the normal spring rolls and pho. With padseew, fried tilapia and pork belly to go. The condiments really needs to be cleaned. The sauce bottles are sticky and sauce was over spilling out of the spout which has dried up and is very unsanitary. Pho and spring roll was great as usual. The fried fish is topped with eggroll sweet and sour sauce which is way too sweet. Pork belly could've been crispier and flavorful but it was a bit bland. The padseew was great. Flavor was there. However I was very upset that they did not put any meat in it, even after ordering beef padseew. Flipping through the noodles and veggies, it was only noodles, veggies and eggs. That would've been a huge hit. But rather a very sad disappointment because i didn't realize it until we had already got home. I've been wanting to try this place out since it opened and finally got the opportunity to come for a late weekday lunch. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, so parking is very convenient. The dining area was spacious with lots of natural light coming through. Everything we ordered was delicious. For starters, we ordered the spring rolls and papaya salad (Laos style). The spring rolls were refreshing and the rice paper wrapper was not dry at all. It came with a sweet, dark dipping sauce. The papaya salad was very flavorful. A good balance between, acidity, sweetness, savory-ness, and spicy-ness. I ordered it with a medium spice level but it still packed a pretty big punch (still very good though). As for our mains, we ordered a regular sized bowl of beef ball and thin sliced beef pho and pad kra pao (a.k.a. holy basil stir fry), with pork. The pho broth was savory and had a nice beefy umami to it. The pad kra pow was also very tasty, and well seasoned. I ordered this in a "medium" spice level as well. The fried egg that topped the dish was also cooked to perfection. Crispy outer egg white, with a runny, gooey egg yolk on the inside. Service was casual, but very friendly. We will definitely be returning, and recommend checking them out. read more

Pad Thai was very good! Also enjoyed spring rolls...the stuffed chicken wing was very unusual but WATCH OUT for the spiciness of the dipping sauce that was served alongside! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable; she did a great job. But it seemed that most of their business was take-out. I was embarrassed when we realized that they close at 7 pm; we arrived after 6! But they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We didn't feel rushed at all. And now my only complaint is that I feel TOO FULL...but that is my OWN FAULT! read more

Be cautious to go in here for lunch unless you have a lot of time. Always seems to take 40 minutes to get your food. IMO. Today we went for lunch again and they forgot my order. The rest of my group has got their food and almost finished the food while I was still waiting for my food. I have to go to the counter to ask about my food and the waitress told me they were cooking it. I asked her to make my food to go because everyone has almost finished their food. I went to pay for the food and asked the lady why my food got in that late. She told me that the kitchen was busy today. This doesn't make sense to me since all other people in my group got their food. After pressing her further she finally admitted that she forgot my order. This is a very very new restaurant that just opened and overall it is ok. I would rate it overall 3.5-4 stars. I think the owners need a lot of help such as busting, waiting, register, and etc. I was happy to see the restaurant so busy but I felt bad for 1 person doing everything because they had no help. The service was relatively slow because they are very short in staffs. The eggrolls were good, very moist, and had good balance of meat, veggies, and noodle (5/5). The pad Thai was plain and not much flavor (2/5). The the combination fried rice was LEGIT, it was warm, moist, and good flavor (5/5). The papaya salad wasn't as good as expect (2/5). The appetizer chicken wings were big, crispy, and well cooked (5/5). The laab wings were cooked well and well seasoned, but it didn't taste much like laab (3/5). The pho wasn't as flavorful as expected (2/5). The sticky rice was very good and perfect texture (5/5). These are my personal reviews. Would like to see how other people rate the food as well. We loved the Spring Rolls and the Roasted Chicken Wings. We will be back for those as our meal. Pad Thai with Chicken is very mild and not what we expected. Portion was adequate, usually my hubs cannot eat the whole dish, but he easily did here. My Beef Pho was disappointing. A very sweet smelling and lightly colored broth. The broth does not seem to be made from bone broth and long simmering meats, aromatics, onions, etc. The beef was over done and very thickly sliced. It had barely a beefy flavor. The noodles were cut, made it difficult to eat. Very rubbery meatballs were cut into quarters. For an inexpensive item, there could have been more. They would have added flavor. The Pho really seems like an afterthought. There is a large tray of condiments, even Pho broth soup base. I added the tip of my spoon, about a tablespoon of the soup base, it barely added any additional depth. Added black pepper, salt and chili oil paste, it still was not any where close to a "Viet" flavor. That cannot be replicated at the dining table. I have just shy of a full quart of leftovers. Before I even started to eat the Pho, the noodles soaked up most of the broth. Noodles were soggy and dissolving. A small amount of Thai Basil, one small lime wedge, bean sprouts and jalapeños are accoutrements. I added all the basil, all the line and my hubs line and half the sprouts. I probably will be tossing those leftovers and chalk it up as lesson learned. I will probably try Pad See Ewe or another noodle dish in the future. The restaurant is spacious and clean, 4-5 tables could be added. We, and the 4 guests after us, went up to the counter to order, there are large hand written signs for Boba Tea and large display cases that draw you in. But you actually order from your table. Having a small hostess station near the entry would help with that confusion. You do however pay at the counter when finished. read more

I have just had my tenth meal from Mimi's and I literally have not had one bad meal or even one customer service issue. I have had a variety of menu item but, my favorite is her "Pork Belly with Sticky Rice". Give Mimi's Kitchen a try, you will not regret it. read more

Got take out. Decor is sparse. Staff was very nice. Food was delicious. Gave 4/5 stars, because unfortunately my soup container opened and it spilled into bag. Fortunately their take out bags are waterproof and I was still able to enjoy the soup. Plenty of parking. Appeared to be clean. I would recommend this eating establishment for their good food, but realize it is not a romantic atmosphere. read more

Had a delicious cashew shrimp stir fry for lunch today at Mimi's. Service was friendly, prompt & helpful. I will definitely be returning.

Love this place. Not super-fancy, but the food is top-notch. I love the steak salad and my kids love the Pho.
