    Miso soup is great

(Updating my 2* review) NEW OWNERS! The server (owner) was extremely sweet and attentive! They definitely gave this place the face lift it needed. It's much more sushi oriented now, but still has tons of menu options of all sorts. I'm slightly curious if the owner recognized me from my old review lol because she refilled my miso for free and gave me a discount coupon for next time! I got the 3 choice bento box and I will say it is worth the money. The music had some great unexpected bangers while I was there as well. I will surely be returning here to try more menu options since I'm in the area so often. She also put the rest of my sprite in a to go cup and refilled it. It really was my opinion of 5 star worthy meal, thank you guys!

Combo 3 plate with chicken teriyaki, spicy crab roll and tempura shrimp roll. Delicious!

Excellent customer service! Delicious fresh food! Big portions enough for leftovers tomorrow!! Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely return on a regular basis!

I stopped in and picked up chicken teriyaki with rice and a salad. While I was waiting, they gave me a cup of miso soup. The food was excellent and the chicken was juicy. The employees were really friendly. They also serve sushi and bento boxes. I look forward to trying new items in the near future.

The waiter was nice and served food in a timely manner and the tea was good. I asked for extra ingredients and were generous about the ingredients.

I really like giving small, mom & pop places a chance because you can find some real gems that way. I imagine this place has some dishes that are good. The gyoza was not bad, not wonderful. The shrimp "tempura" was not. It was simply thin, fried shrimp. It was pretty good in that it was hot and crispy. I'm a stickler for crispy but this was not tempura! Very disappointed and pissed because it's basically false advertising. I'm guessing years ago is actually was tempura, but it's not now. They need to change their photo and description. Because of this, I will never come back and try anything else.

    Katsu chicken??

Ordered katsu chicken, teriyaki, gyoza and avocado rolls and get home to discover NO sauce on katsu --plus the chicken is so hard it's inedible. Oh, and no gyoza. Tried to call but phone number does not work. Ridiculous -$49 down the drain.

I went here to go eat after shopping at the goodwill nearby and it was honestly pretty good. If I was close by I would come here again, but it wasn't mind-blowingly delicious. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I don't really have any problems with this place. The prices did go up due to COVID and inflation, so that's a downside, but at least it's not like $20 for a plate of teriyaki, it was $10.99 I believe. Just +$1-2 to the menu you find online and that's pretty accurate. The staff was nice and it's just a little store close by. I have no issues with this place and think that if anyone was nearby, they should definitely check it out.

I love you this much. Yabba Dana dooooo!

Bento Teriyaki in Kent Washington on Washington is by far the best! I would go 7 days a week if possible. The Yakisoba is my favorite. Still very pleased with Bento Teriyaki. Beef, chicken, pork teriyaki. Mmmm, I love this restaurant.

Craving for chicken katsu for a while so i stopped by this place give them as I have never been here before. I drove pass this place many times but never had the chance to stop by. I ordered to go and the staff seen to be friendly. My chicken katsu was pretty good. I had some really good chicken katsu before and this place is do have room to improve but definitely not bad.

The Homie and I stopped in the Dough Zone location at Kent Station (9/10/26), conveniently located across the free parking garage. Dining onsite, we ordered from the QR code at our table. We had fried dumplings and a pair of iced milk teas, since we had a progressive dinner elsewhere on the road heading to Kent. Just right and the bevs stayed cool in our car. Service was attentive and expedient. Clean, pleasant interior and at the time it was about 3/4 full of customers. Food and bevs were on point and consistent. Last visit was awhile back in Lynnwood, so this visit in Kent helped remind me of my accrued points via their app. Side note - very clean restroom, which is greatly appreciated!

If you're ethnic Chinese/Asian looking for true Taiwanese food that'll give you a ratatouille moment, this isn't it. We went on a weekend late night dinner and the place was decently full. We were the only Asians there and the rest of the patrons were Westerners. That should tell you everything you need to know. Ambiance and service was 5/5. Very clean, hip restaurant in a safe part of Seattle. Perfect for a date. More than half of the wait staff was Chinese as were all the kitchen staff from what we could tell, so if you spoke mainly Chinese, you'd be fine and they would be familiar with Taiwanese food. Portion sizes are smaller and pricing matches, respectfully, so you can try different things. I'd say as an adult, you could order a couple plates and you'd be more than full. Food was 3.5-4. Sorry, I can't confidently rate it any higher than a 4. We had to try the beef noodle soup 3.5/5. Broth was good. Vegetables were romaine lettuce which wasn't authentic, but fine. Beef was definitely on the leaner side and definitely tougher (maybe because it was so lean), so maybe this was to cater to western tastes? Noodles were ok... too similar to ramen for our tastes... and that was a comment several of us made, independently. Onion pancake was 3.5/5. Meh, nothing too exciting. Beef sandwich was a dud. 2.5/5. Skip. It was like they took an onion pancake and used it for the roll/skin... pretty oily. Vegetables were just chopped lettuce. No cucumbers or cilantro from my memory, but it's been a few days so maybe I'm not remembering correctly. We also had different xao-long baos (they only had one pork left), cold peanut butter/cucumber noodles, dumplings, spicy cold cucumbers... and they were all 3.5-4ish. Nothing crazy. In the end, again, if you're looking to just get a broad taste of Taiwanese food, this is it. If you're looking to get a genuine taste of Taiwan, this isn't it.

I ordered a beef salad, chicken satay, and a side of rice. The dine-in menu I was given did not list any prices, which I found unusual, but I didn't think to ask before ordering. When I received the bill, the beef salad was $25, the chicken satay was $15, and the side of rice was $5. The chicken satay is listed online for $10 before tax, so I was surprised to be charged $15. The final total was significantly more than I expected for these three items. I regularly order these same types of dishes at other Thai restaurants and typically spend under $40. I would have been perfectly fine paying more if the prices had been clearly posted, but being presented with significantly higher prices after ordering left me feeling taken advantage of. My advice to future customers: ask for the price of every item before ordering, especially if the menu doesn't show prices. Again, the food was good, but the pricing transparency needs serious improvement. I hope the restaurant addresses this because customers should know what they're going to be charged before they order.

A thin crisp crust, falling off the bone tender lamb with a nice amount of fat. It's served with a salty spicy dry rub that adds more texture with each bite. The raw sliced onions, not something you'll see with western cuisine, but a staple served with mughlai kebabs in other parts of the world provide sweetness and additional crunch. The lamb buns were great. Unlike most buns or patties or quiche which usually have ground lamb, these had tiny cubes, along with potatoes. Just needed some hot sauce to unlock flavors for me. The lamb soup with noodles was light and super flavorful. Great for a winter afternoon. Service was nice. Hand pulled wide noodles - These are on-point, especially after the sad and soft ones at Dough Zone. So much texture and the amount of umami they soak up from the juices of the stir fry is brain melting. Naan - They're definitely good, but these are.....sooooooooo dense and filling. As an analogy, if bread -- bagel, then Indian curry naan -- this naan. Honestly, these aren't my favorite, but I can't fault the taste or quality at all. Vermicelli was a 3.5 as it was fresh and a good serving (4) but the grilled pork was on the cooler side and didn't taste as crisp and fresh off the grill as you'd expect (3). Best part of the pho was the broth as it wasn't too salty like it can be sometimes elsewhere (4). Veggies were super fresh. Sliced beef was previously sliced and the whole chunk was placed in so you had to tease apart the slices from each other which was a little different than my experiences elsewhere. SKIP THE SPRING ROLLS. Picture had three shrimps/roll. Ours had 1/roll on one side with a slice of pork (I think) on the other. Seemed pretty skimpy if you ask me (2.5 at best). Service was good (4). Location was in a small strip mall with a Mexican and Indian place next door. The bars over nearly the entire front storefront were definitely interesting. For an out-of-towner, this part of Kent seems like a Santa Ana/Westminister/Garden Grove of OC, CA kind of an area with different ethnic offerings up and down the street.

My issue was the sanitary aspect or shall I say the lack there of. There was a a whole clump of hair under our table and hair hanging from the chairs. I dropped my daughter's blanket on the floor and my husband picked it up and he it had a pubic hair on it. The tables were not wiped off and the bathroom was a disaster zone. I mean if this is what they think their customers should deal with can you imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food was ok but I'm gonna be honest it's not something I would pay for again when there are other options that at least care enough about their customers that they actually keep the place clean and sanitize. Luckily I saw Pho T & L was open and I've had this place saved for a while so this was the best timing to try them out. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.
