    Miso soup is great

(Updating my 2* review) NEW OWNERS! The server (owner) was extremely sweet and attentive! They definitely gave this place the face lift it needed. It's much more sushi oriented now, but still has tons of menu options of all sorts. I'm slightly curious if the owner recognized me from my old review lol because she refilled my miso for free and gave me a discount coupon for next time! I got the 3 choice bento box and I will say it is worth the money. The music had some great unexpected bangers while I was there as well. I will surely be returning here to try more menu options since I'm in the area so often. She also put the rest of my sprite in a to go cup and refilled it. It really was my opinion of 5 star worthy meal, thank you guys!

Combo 3 plate with chicken teriyaki, spicy crab roll and tempura shrimp roll. Delicious!

Excellent customer service! Delicious fresh food! Big portions enough for leftovers tomorrow!! Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely return on a regular basis!

I stopped in and picked up chicken teriyaki with rice and a salad. While I was waiting, they gave me a cup of miso soup. The food was excellent and the chicken was juicy. The employees were really friendly. They also serve sushi and bento boxes. I look forward to trying new items in the near future.

The waiter was nice and served food in a timely manner and the tea was good. I asked for extra ingredients and were generous about the ingredients.

I really like giving small, mom & pop places a chance because you can find some real gems that way. I imagine this place has some dishes that are good. The gyoza was not bad, not wonderful. The shrimp "tempura" was not. It was simply thin, fried shrimp. It was pretty good in that it was hot and crispy. I'm a stickler for crispy but this was not tempura! Very disappointed and pissed because it's basically false advertising. I'm guessing years ago is actually was tempura, but it's not now. They need to change their photo and description. Because of this, I will never come back and try anything else.

    Katsu chicken??

Ordered katsu chicken, teriyaki, gyoza and avocado rolls and get home to discover NO sauce on katsu --plus the chicken is so hard it's inedible. Oh, and no gyoza. Tried to call but phone number does not work. Ridiculous -$49 down the drain.

I went here to go eat after shopping at the goodwill nearby and it was honestly pretty good. If I was close by I would come here again, but it wasn't mind-blowingly delicious. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I don't really have any problems with this place. The prices did go up due to COVID and inflation, so that's a downside, but at least it's not like $20 for a plate of teriyaki, it was $10.99 I believe. Just +$1-2 to the menu you find online and that's pretty accurate. The staff was nice and it's just a little store close by. I have no issues with this place and think that if anyone was nearby, they should definitely check it out.

I love you this much. Yabba Dana dooooo!

Bento Teriyaki in Kent Washington on Washington is by far the best! I would go 7 days a week if possible. The Yakisoba is my favorite. Still very pleased with Bento Teriyaki. Beef, chicken, pork teriyaki. Mmmm, I love this restaurant.

Craving for chicken katsu for a while so i stopped by this place give them as I have never been here before. I drove pass this place many times but never had the chance to stop by. I ordered to go and the staff seen to be friendly. My chicken katsu was pretty good. I had some really good chicken katsu before and this place is do have room to improve but definitely not bad.

It had generous amounts of pork, pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro and jalapeños. Together, the flavors came together nicely. It is one of the best ones I've had. The ambiance was modern, nice and clean. They had nice background music playing. The employees that waited on me were nice and friendly. Their service was also good. Vermicelli was a 3.5 as it was fresh and a good serving (4) but the grilled pork was on the cooler side and didn't taste as crisp and fresh off the grill as you'd expect (3). Best part of the pho was the broth as it wasn't too salty like it can be sometimes elsewhere (4). Veggies were super fresh. Sliced beef was previously sliced and the whole chunk was placed in so you had to tease apart the slices from each other which was a little different than my experiences elsewhere. SKIP THE SPRING ROLLS. Picture had three shrimps/roll. Ours had 1/roll on one side with a slice of pork (I think) on the other. Seemed pretty skimpy if you ask me (2.5 at best). Service was good (4). Location was in a small strip mall with a Mexican and Indian place next door. The bars over nearly the entire front storefront were definitely interesting. For an out-of-towner, this part of Kent seems like a Santa Ana/Westminister/Garden Grove of OC, CA kind of an area with different ethnic offerings up and down the street.

I went a couple weeks ago and tried to order a shawarma but I must have came to early bc they were not ready. So today I decided to try again. I ordered the combo and the digital menu shows the combo as $14.99 but it rang up at $15.99. Not a big deal but the digital board should be updated. If you order online, the price does show for $15.99. The cashier was okay. Not as friendly with me as she was with others. It was like I was bothering her by ordering food. The gentleman who was in the back cooking my food was pretty friendly though. Honestly, based on the experience with the cashier it would be pretty easy to not rush back. But the shawarma was just good as I remembered. The chicken was juicy and extremely flavorful. Now that I work closer to this location, it will definitely be in rotation for me. The samoon was calling my name on this visit but I will definitely have to wait until next time and get it with some hummus. You can order the shawarma on the samoon also.

The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall leading to ranch 99 (Asian supermarket). I've had this spot pinned on my Google Maps for the longest time but just never had the opportunity to make the drive there. This place was easy to miss if you don't look carefully so I'm glad I saw this recommended by a Seattle foodie I follow on instagram. We ordered the spicy braised beef noodles and steamed dumplings to share since we weren't that hungry. The braised beef noodles BLEW ME AWAY. The broth was so rich and savory, my mom commented that it tasted better than the one at din tai fung (we are frequent visitors & I agree) and the noodles were chewy (I love thick noodles!!). The dumplings were very juicy and flavorful but nothing too special. Service was prompt and servers were really friendly. There were so many other dishes on the menu featuring traditional Chinese dishes that looked delicious and so I do want to come back to try those when I am hungry! I would not sniff at the handmade mandoo... those dumplings didn't come from a frozen package from HMart, so make sure you get at least a 6 pc order in. Actually it's afternoon, but we get less sunlight around this time hence it feels like the evening even at 4pm. Anyway, the inside is brightly lit and is very casual, with the interior feeling like a fast-food joint but with much better seating quality. Their menu consists of teriyaki, Chinese food, sushi, bento boxes, fried rice, yakisoba and many others. They also have a special sushi menu located behind the counter, and one particular kind caught my friend's eye. Servers were patient with us and would come by once in a while to refill our water cups. Now for the food: - We each got our own bento box. For mines, i got their box with hot crispy chicken, spicy tuna rolls and four pieces of gyoza. The hot crispy chicken is already filling on its own, and they don't skimp on the spices. It was really crispy, sometimes to the point of scratching the inside of my mouth. Spicy tuna rolls were standard but also hit the spot, with the mayo sauce and even the tuna being spicy. The gyozas were also standard but were cooked well. Portions here are huge, and I almost asked for a to-go box for my remaining chicken. They didn't provide me with a side of salad as they advertise on their menu, though. It only came with my other friend's bento with chicken teriyaki, California roll and four pieces of gyoza. He did enjoy the teriyaki here, though. - My friend got a Diablo roll, which has a similar mayo sauce on it but is covered on the outside by a layer of Flaming Hot Cheetos. This was even spicier than the spicy tuna rolls which was actually even better. It gets really filling because of all the filling and sauces above it, and carries a familiar crunch with the Hot Cheetos covering. This place has some big portions for their food and needs more exposure! I'd be back for their other dishes and offerings.

Walking inside, the interior feels inviting and thoughtfully designed, with a clean, modern aesthetic softened by warm lighting and natural tones. There's a noticeable balance between openness and coziness, and plenty of seating options--from small tables for solo diners to larger spaces for groups--making it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The food itself leans heavily into comfort, starting with the Grilled Cheese, which delivers a surprisingly nostalgic bite. The crisp, buttery bread gives way to perfectly melted cheese, instantly reminiscent of childhood lunches. Paired with the Tomato Soup, the experience becomes even better--the soup's creamy, smooth texture complements the sandwich beautifully, creating that classic combination that feels both simple and deeply satisfying. Another standout was the Asiago Croissant Twist, which offered a flaky, airy texture with a subtle richness from the cheese. Each bite had a delicate crispness on the outside while remaining soft and layered within, making it an easy favorite for something lighter yet indulgent. The Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich was equally impressive, bringing together a balance of flavors and textures. The chicken salad was creamy without being heavy, while the cranberries added a gentle sweetness that contrasted nicely with the savory elements. The walnuts provided a slight crunch, rounding out each bite and giving the sandwich a more elevated feel. Overall, Panera Bread delivers a well-rounded experience--comfortable seating, a welcoming atmosphere, and food that manages to feel both familiar and thoughtfully prepared.
