(Updating my 2* review) NEW OWNERS! The server (owner) was extremely sweet and attentive! They definitely gave this place the face lift it needed. It's much more sushi oriented now, but still has tons of menu options of all sorts. I'm slightly curious if the owner recognized me from my old review lol because she refilled my miso for free and gave me a discount coupon for next time! I got the 3 choice bento box and I will say it is worth the money. The music had some great unexpected bangers while I was there as well. I will surely be returning here to try more menu options since I'm in the area so often. She also put the rest of my sprite in a to go cup and refilled it. It really was my opinion of 5 star worthy meal, thank you guys!

Combo 3 plate with chicken teriyaki, spicy crab roll and tempura shrimp roll. Delicious!

I stopped in and picked up chicken teriyaki with rice and a salad. While I was waiting, they gave me a cup of miso soup. The food was excellent and the chicken was juicy. The employees were really friendly. They also serve sushi and bento boxes. I look forward to trying new items in the near future.

The waiter was nice and served food in a timely manner and the tea was good. I asked for extra ingredients and were generous about the ingredients.

I really like giving small, mom & pop places a chance because you can find some real gems that way. I imagine this place has some dishes that are good. The gyoza was not bad, not wonderful. The shrimp "tempura" was not. It was simply thin, fried shrimp. It was pretty good in that it was hot and crispy. I'm a stickler for crispy but this was not tempura! Very disappointed and pissed because it's basically false advertising. I'm guessing years ago is actually was tempura, but it's not now. They need to change their photo and description. Because of this, I will never come back and try anything else.

    Katsu chicken??

Ordered katsu chicken, teriyaki, gyoza and avocado rolls and get home to discover NO sauce on katsu --plus the chicken is so hard it's inedible. Oh, and no gyoza. Tried to call but phone number does not work. Ridiculous -$49 down the drain.

I went here to go eat after shopping at the goodwill nearby and it was honestly pretty good. If I was close by I would come here again, but it wasn't mind-blowingly delicious. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I don't really have any problems with this place. The prices did go up due to COVID and inflation, so that's a downside, but at least it's not like $20 for a plate of teriyaki, it was $10.99 I believe. Just +$1-2 to the menu you find online and that's pretty accurate. The staff was nice and it's just a little store close by. I have no issues with this place and think that if anyone was nearby, they should definitely check it out.

I love you this much. Yabba Dana dooooo!

Bento Teriyaki in Kent Washington on Washington is by far the best! I would go 7 days a week if possible. The Yakisoba is my favorite. Still very pleased with Bento Teriyaki. Beef, chicken, pork teriyaki. Mmmm, I love this restaurant.

I ordered to go and the staff seen to be friendly. My chicken katsu was pretty good. I had some really good chicken katsu before and this place is do have room to improve but definitely not bad.

I've also invited my gal friends who love sushi when I can get a two seater. Hubby doesn't mind not having some just so my friends could experience chef Sean's sushi. Everyone we've invited to dine with us were so impressed, including a sushi chef from Palm Springs. Her father owned a popular place for our 50 years, but has since retired. She was very impressed by the quality, and craftsmanship, the love Chef Sean pours into his creations. All my friends know how difficult it is to get reservations, so they rely on me to make them. We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.
