You can order up to 15 items every 15 minutes with a 90 minute cap no matter how small or big your party is. Service comes with a mixture of a person bringing out the items alongside these robots that also deliver your order. With that being said, I've been here a few times ever since moving to the area the past year and the staff has always been very friendly and I appreciate the consistency of the items throughout each of the visits. Our go to are the Seared Salmon along with the Unagi Bowl. The way the sear the fish and add just the right amount of sauce makes those our go to. They have two different prices for dinner -- $27 vs. $33, my friends and I opted for the $33 since that came with Sashimi. You collectively order on an app, about 15 items every 15 minutes. Food either gets brought out by servers or little robots, and there's a hot bar with different fried fruits, veggies, and sweets for while you wait! Some differences that we noticed was how small and sad the hot bar is compared to Tacoma. Everything looked like it's been sitting out for a while and half of it wasn't even stocked. This place is fun! I like AYCE places and this place is clean and well organized. You order what you want on your phone and the cute robot brings you the food. There are some rules where you can only order a certain number of dishes and you can only order again after maybe 20 minutes or something like that. And you will be charged for leftovers (so don't waste food!). They will explain all the rules to you. There's also a small salad bar that was things like seaweed salad and edamame and they also have BOBA!! There are toppings and there were three options - I think it was thai tea, milk tea, and a mango fruit tea. I got the fruit tea with lychee jelly. I went for lunch which is cheaper and it doesn't include sashimi or nigiri or premium items, but you can opt to pay up for the dinner price to get access to everything. I just did the cheaper lunch because there are plenty of options. The quality is what you would expect for AYCE - it's not the best but it was pretty good for what it is! They also have non-sushi items, like unagi donburi, gyoza, and udon noodles! My server was great - explained everything well and was super nice! It was fun to get to try a variety of dishes. Having tried the Tacoma location 2x, and seeing that this location had slightly better reviews, I decided it was time to compare the two. The building is clearly an old Sherri's so the layout is kind of silly for those sitting on the opposite end of the hot bar. Speaking of the hot bar, the shrimp and calamari my husband had off there were tasteless. The egg rolls fooled us in that they were imitation crab sticks rolls. Also, to offer Thai iced tea is pretty cool but to not offer ice for it derails the whole thing. It was warm, grainy and chemical tasting. Our server was really nice and stopped by often, so she was a plus. Now for the food - this location has more variety and better taste for the regular roll menu items also found in the Tacoma location. This location has soups and other items that Tacoma doesn't. The rolls were bigger and tasted better. The robots had less shelves on them, but more sassy attitudes, constantly blabbing about people being in their way and giving you sass if you didn't pick up your items within seconds. Everything was fine but all the hot items we ordered off the diner menu took for ever to be delivered, which was annoying. Overall, I'm still not impressed by either location, so I can't recommend with flying colors, however I can see why people go for the AYCE. P.s. as of 5/26/25, their health rating is Okay. 4.5 For AYCE sushi at $29.95 pp on weeknights and weekends--this place stands out! Came on a Saturday around noon and waited about 15 minutes for a table. The restaurant was packed though there was a steady stream of people coming and going. The whole place seats around 100 people, mostly at booths for 4-6 and tables for 4. Once seated, our server asked if it was our first time there and explained the rules (which are also printed on placards placed at each table. There's a 90 min limit once you start ordering, order via cell phone by scanning a QR code specific to the table, you can order up to 15 items on a single order, once every 15 minutes. So take a good look and go for 15 items for the first go and then think about what you'll order next once the food starts to come within 5-10 minutes. They'll charge $12.95/lb of uneaten food. Drinks are extra based on the drink menu. Service was pretty fast, food was delivered via the staff or a couple service robots that zoom around carrying small trays on their backs. I was satisfied with the freshness and quality of the sashimi and sushi, not like high end cuts but not fishy either. Their selection of seafood options was fairly limited to about a dozen-odd types of fish/shellfish and I can understand they need to keep it fairly narrow to maintain turnover. They mix it up by doing a variety of rolls. The basic rolls were average and the fancier ones were a bit heavy on sauce, however they gave good portions and the rice to fish ratio was very reasonable for an AYCE place. For a more casual meal setting, the number of options was an excellent value--sushi (nigiri and rolls), sashimi, bento sets, cooked meats and seafood, noodles and rice, stir-fried and fried options plus the buffet items (like deep fried wings, spring rolls, popcorn chicken, salad, fresh fruit, sheet cake squares)--more than did the job. We managed to order about 3-4 rounds of 15 items for 4 people, supplemented by buffet bar, and by the end of the 3rd round were all stuffed. It's quite a lot of food--especially protein with rice which will fill you up. Last little perk is the option of ice cream cups or popsicles at the end of your meal--they have a little cooler next to the host stand with these, again not premium ice cream by any means but a sweet way to end the meal. This is for eat in, you may need to pay to take it to go. Lunch on weekdays is $19.95 and the menu doesn't include sashimi, though you can pay the full price if you want it. The staff members were pleasant and attentive, a couple different team members came by to check in on us and refill water. We didn't break any of them although I wasn't paying attention to them. The food quality was better than expected as we ordered the high tier experience, which most of what I usually get was only available with that tiered option. Great wine pricing on a limited selection . Some of the dishes are delivered by robot. Being seated by the kitchen door we chose not to make the trek around the large dining space to a buffet of condiments and deserts. Very spacious interior with two main dining areas one of the main differences between this and the Tacoma location is that they don't use robots primarily to deliver your food at this location. You are told right upfront that there is a 90 minute time limit and the servers do a good job of clearing plates and bringing orders very quickly for you. I think the AYCE price for lunch ($19.95 Adult) is worth it, but not sure if I'd drive all the way to Kent for dinner at $29.95 Adult price.
