Honestly I have no idea how this place isn't packed. It's a hidden gem. The pedicure massage chairs are super comfy. The vibe is always chill classical music, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I've literally ALWAYS had a great time. The manicures actually last, too! In my opinion, Tony gives the best manicure, especially if you're getting gel-x extensions (I think that's what I got. He's also the house pro if you want nail art. Tony has a special station with a special pro light lol he's got quite the setup. Highly recommend! I love Vin nails. As an out of towner here temporarily I was nervous to find a new salon but they're great. I never book far in advance because I am scattered brain. But they always come through and make time for me. Tiffany, Lee and David are all awesome nail technicians. I mainly get gel nails. They have a wide variety of color choices. I highly recommend them. Also the salon is clean and organized. They offer you a beverage each time you come in. Their massage with your regular mani or pedi is surprisingly good. I also come out relaxed! read more

HOWEVER, VIN NAIL BAR is amazing and I have since stopped having to go to Charlotte for my pedicures. $75 luxury pedi was 35 min, bro cut me twice (this was a first for me! Other reviews had similar experience, I wish I would've trusted them), very rushed, massage chairs were weak, probs the worst pedi experience I've ever had. Full set was better but expect add ons, this was $70 ($55 for gel full set + French) and I think they charged me for the almond shape so expect add ons. I wish the French was thicker but my fault for not speaking up and I'm sure that would've been extra $ too. Typical chop shop nail salon, sadly, not returning mainly due to pedi. read more

We came in for two pedicures today. Although the other nail tech did excellent, Peter did a terrible job and rushed through his pedicure work. He barely touched the cuticles, and he didn't use the scrubber to remove the dead skin on the foot and toes as he should have. Had a new set of builder gel put on 1 week to the day, I've multiple nails come off requiring me to return on 2 separate occasions. Today being the second which I scheduled an appt. I sat there for nearly 30 min while people who didn't have appts were seated and then Amgei (owner)had the nerve to ask me to come back! I enjoy this salon a lot. I will say staff is very friendly, but they do not always understand your English. Regardless, if you are respectful and patient they are as well- so it doesn't really matter. The inside of the nail bar is clean and appealing. They have always taken their time on my nails (I've had both nail enhancements and toes done here), regardless of what package I select (even with the most basic ones). They also are on par with other places as far as pricing goes. The staff is very kind and accommodating and often will ask if you'd like something to drink, which they do not charge extra for. Additionally, they have interesting videos playing on tvs so you can watch that if not using your phone during the service. read more

Wow, this was hands down the best salon/pedi experience of my life! The vibe is so luxe, with nice lighting, friendly staff, and a sweet side room with pedicure tubs. We had almost no wait after booking appointments the day before, and 3/3 people in my party got great experiences with the "natural" pedicure option. Requested gel nail manicure for myself. I received a polish change. No manicure. My bigger disappointment is that I took my granddaughter, who brought in pictures of zebra print she wanted on nails. She got what looks like a zipper. We got home and she repainted her nails herself. If a nail tech is not comfortable doing certain tasks, they should practice on each other - not paying customers. read more

We are from out of town. We came to Asheville to pick up my daughter from sports camp and she was in desperate need of a pedicure. I spied this place during a visit to Whole Foods which is in the mall. We took a chance (there weren't any reviews yet) and glad we did! She said it was one of the best pedicures she'd ever had. Julie was really gentle for the pedi but then really strong for the massage. It's a beautiful brand new place with lots of chairs. They just open a few weeks ago. Go check them out. I've been here twice and both times I've had to come back within 1-2 days for them to retouch my gel manicure. For the amount of $ you're paying, gel should not chip within a few days and I'm not doing anything that would cause them to chip right away. I've been to some of the cheapest nail salons here and where I used to live in Los Angeles for half the price with gel manicures lasting 4 weeks with no chipping. The place is beautiful and the customer service is great but I will not be returning as I shouldn't have to return every few days for them to fix my nails. read more

For2 years I have been trying to find a nail tech that can match the tech I've been using for 10 years in another state. No one has been able to do them like she does. I do a natural looking acrylic ombré and I like then very thin and natural looking. And then I found Harvey. He took the time to listen to the technique my previous tech used and look at the pictures she took for me. And he nailed it to perfection.
