At the same time I noticed that they also did computer repair, I was having some minor issues with my laptop and figured why not bring it in. I had mentioned that my computer had some viruses & that it was over heating. I emphasized that I needed all the material on the computer and that I did not want anything to be erased. They assured me that they could do it. They estimated the repair to be about 3-5 business days in order for parts to be delivered. I waited two and a half weeks for my laptop to be repaired. Far longer then what they had estimated. Upon arrival I was informed that they deleted all of my data because I had not approved a data back up which was not mentioned at the time of service even though the lab top memo clearly stated "customer needs her data, be careful" I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in their service. The entire purpose of the repair was to maintain all of my stored work, if I had wanted a clean hard drive I would have invested in a new laptop. Long story short, the shop is only efficient in cell phone repair. I will not be returning.

I got my screen replaced (paying less than I would have at Apple). About two week later the screen started to fritz out so I took it back and they replaced it because it was a bad screen. Fast forward four weeks and the second replacement is also on the Fritz. I go Miami Vice again and I'm told that the previous owner is gone and I can pay another $200+ to have my screen replaced. No thanks. Moral of the story - just go to Apple. Replacements from these kinds of stores are not the same quality or build as Apple. Furthermore, management can change and then if something happens with the replacement they gave you - ToOO BAD - you're stuck forking over hundreds of dollars to the same store that gave you the bad screen (and in my case TWO bad screens). With Apple you'll at least get consistency. TL;DR: Don't waste your time and money with these third party screen replacement places. The money you save will just be more money lost when their poor quality replacements break.

I paid $270 TOTAL for packaging+shipping for my exact same items from CA to FL through UPS, but…read morethis location wanted to charge me $503 with the extra $280 "large box fee" to ship them back because they insisted on using a massive box. My original shipment used a much smaller box, was bubble-wrapped, marked fragile, and arrived safely. Manager Alex kept calling my 34-inch computer monitor a "TV" and claimed their oversized box was the only option. I even offered to bring my original box, but he refused to pack it and said without the fee they wouldn't bubble-wrap my items and would "for sure be damaged". I had no choice but to get a refund, take everything back, and Uber home. ZERO effort to find a reasonable solution or provide decent customer service. I had to potentially pay MORE for their in-competence of not have correct sized boxes for when someone brings in items to be packed and shipped. Horrible and LAZY. I…read morego there on a Sunday to have a repair for my phone and understand 1) is it not repairable 2) if it is what is the costs so I can submit that to insurance. Talk with the manager/owner then his friends come in and completely ignores me for 10 minutes. Says he doesn't have the tool come back tomorrow. Monday comes, I return and explain to one of the staff I would like it repaired if he provides me clear cost or to know if it can not be repaired. Doesn't use a tool or anything calls a guy and says they won't give price until they are done. Insurance only covers the lower of replacement or repair and unwilling to say what the cost is. His response "WHATs in it for ME?" I'd prefer to shop at a small family shop like this, so would love to endorse, but lack of integrity and can't even provide a written quote of what he would charge. #shame on the lack of integrity; it represents everything currently wrong with Miami, when there is so much good in this wonderful city
