I went here to get a paper notarized. The store always has a line. It was the morning of 12/31 New Year's Eve so we were surprised when we arrived and they were closed. We returned at 10am to find a long line of people waiting for them to open. The staff were courteous and tried their best to keep the line moving upon opening. Jonathan was able to help get the document notarized and was truly helpful. I would recommend that the store gets more staff as it is very busy. read more

I HAD TO FILE A POLICE REPORT FOR THEFT AND FRAUD MADE AT THIS LOCATION. I have a P.O. box at this UPS location where I send all my packages. I recently ordered $200 pair of shoes and had them shipped to my PO Box. I received notification from FEDEX that my package had been delivered. I went to go pick them up but was told that my box was "missing'. A day goes by and still no call from the manager. I called them back and the manager Maria answered telling me she watched the cameras and noticed that she herself "handed the SHOE box back to the UPS driver by mistake when he came to pick up packages" she also mentioned she knew "exactly what box it was". I NEVER MENTIONED WHAT WAS INSIDE THE BOX BUT SHE KNEW THEY WERE SHOES. She said she would have them brought back to the location. On this same day, a FRADUALANT purchase was made on my debit card for a $500 shirt. The purchaser used my PO Box as the shipping address. One day passes by and my box has been "found" I went to go pick it up and it was an EMPTY SHOEBOX WITH NOTHING INSIDE BUT THE SHOELACES. When we confronted Maria, she only took the defensive and in no way tried to offer us ANY KIND OF HELP to get to the bottom of what happened. Get ready for them to charge you to print you an Amazon return label when Amazon clearly states in their policy that this service is free of charge. This store will charge you a dollar which might be insignificant but think about all the returns they receive and they still a dollar from each person. read more

I always have great and friendly service at this location. I come here when I have Amazon returns, and it's easy and simple. I wouldn't hesitate to come here for any other UPS needs. Street parking is slim, and I think there are garages in the distance. 'Tis the season for shipping and I must say I've always had great experiences at this UPS Store. It's located off of busy SW 8th Street and the parking lot is a long skinny pain, but I've always been able to find a spot. Whether I'm picking up a package that was unable to be left at my door, or boxing up something myself to ship away, the folks here are always very helpful. They move quickly and have even offered to help me carry things to my car if needed. Besides that, I was happy to find out they copy keys which is convenient. They're moving to a new location very very soon so the shop is in a bit of disarray now, but I look forward to visiting the same staff at their new outpost. read more

Had certified mail sent here with valuable documents, received signature and proof that the store signed for them and they claim they didn't receive it and do not have it! Upon showing them that I have all proof of signatures, they blew me off and said "we will get back to you-" that was nearly a month ago! Worse yet, I have made several attempts to contact the owner by phone and email and he COMPLETELY disregards me as if he lost junk mail! Does not return my calls nor emails! DO NOT USE THIS UPS!! You CANNOT forward address from this location with USPS. Their solution - CHARGE you to forward your mail to you. I had already paid ahead for the year and had to move after a few months. I lost that money, fine but charge me to just write on the mail a forwarding address?!! Also, there was mail I didn't receive that was postage stamped prior to my closing the box. Never knew why I wasn't getting some mail and then my friend showed me a pic returned to her from this UPS after I closed my account. So how did mail just go missing for 2 months?! ALSO, I was required to have them put physical copies of my ID in the file to open. I felt very comfortable about that. The lady said it was not a big deal and no one would have access to it. Well shortly after I opened my account (within 1 month), I had someone attempt to open a bank account in my name. Ramon is super helpful and efficient. The guy keeps the store running. I kid you not, this is my second time here, I won't go to another store. The young lady was super nice today. They are polite and courteous. Also, they are filling the Covid protocols. Everyone was wearing masks and only a few people are allowed in the store at a time. Everyone was social distancing. Mar, the store manager, and the whole team were extremely helpful! I had over 25 fragile packages shipping to both LA and NYC and they were consistently in contact with me for estimates and throughout the entire process. That same week I sent out an overnight envelope THROUGH FEDEX (my mistake) to New Orleans and they LOST the package. Mar and the team were able to successfully help me ship over 25 fragile packages (no damage) across the country with no issues. I'm never shipping with anyone else as long as I can. When I need to ship something I usually use FedEx because they provide free boxes and you can print out your label online. Recently, however, I needed to ship framed art to a friend. I wanted to go to a place that would do the packing for me to mimize the risk of breakage. This location provided efficient, prompt and professional service. All I had to do was drop off the picture, sign my credit card slip and they did the rest. I appreciated that the staff person explained to me the reason why he was using a particular box size (all the boxes are on display for you to see) and how he was going to pack it to ensure its arrival. He made everything so easy for me and also explained the most cost-effective options for me (fast delivery was not a priority). Located in the same plaza as CVS and McDonald's on Eighth Street the location is convenient for anybody living in the downtown/brickell area. read more

Thi is probably the worst location in town of UPS. Be aware that parking is really hard around this location even paying. Staff is nice but is no organization or action plan for the amount of people they received every day. I arrived Saturday 3pm, their closing time. Maria, one of the attendants had already closed the door, yet when she realized my disappointment she immediately opened and let me in. I needed to drop this package today, one more day could have been problematic for me. That was sooo nice. But she didn't stop there, she kindly helped me to get the package in, at the counter gave me helpful information for future shipments and a brief explanation of the usual scheduled pick up time and the printing of customers labels through email, sweet sweet lady, all smiles and helpfulness. Daniel was there taking care of other clients and still took time to acknowledge my presence and congratulate me on the fact that I had gotten in at the last minute. You guys make UPS look good. I called this store and spoke with Yolanda. I told her I had a heavy package and asked her where I could park as parking in Brickell is difficult. She told me to park in the side alley and come in the back door. I followed her instructions. I knocked at the back door which was unlocked, opened it, called for anyone to let them know I was there, heard nothing, so I carried my package in as instructed. Immediately, Mar, another worker, started yelling rudely at me in front of all the other customers, telling me how I should not have come in that way. When I told her that is what I was told to do, she just would not let it go and continued rudely telling me off and arguing with me in front of all the other customers. This went on and on for 15 minutes. I have never been so obnoxiously treated in my life. Mara should be fired. When I asked for the owners' contact information, she refused to give it to me. I would recommend to everyone to never go to a store that treats customers like this. Go to a different UPS store. Horrible! read more

Awful customer service. Haven't helped me in over a month of trying to talk to them. In order for ups corporate to investigate a claim they need the store to open an investigation. After calling them three times they have not opened the claim and I have yet to receive any sort of assistance. The most recent time I called I was left on hold for half an hour. read more

One star because I can't leave less. On Monday 5/21 I brought my daughter's IDs and credit cards to send overnight to Hawaii. I explained the urgency and even told them that she would be changing hotels. The guy told me she would receive it on Wednesday. I remember asking why overnight wasn't Tuesday. He just answered because it's Wednesday. I figured it was too late and Wednesday would be fine. When she didn't receive it on Wednesday, she checked the tracking number and it was the following Wednesday 5/30. I called the store to let them know. The girl I spoke to told me that her co worker had not made a mistake that it was because of the volcanos in Hawaii and there was nothing they could do. I also explained the urgency to her. She didn't care. On the following Monday, I decided to check the tracking number again and I saw "on time 05/30. I then called UPS to find out that it was never shipped overnight and there were no problems with the volcanos. The first guy made a mistake, those things happen but the girl I spoke to could have corrected the problem but she chose to LIE to me. After over 3 hours on the phone we finally got reimbursed but nothing was done for the aggravation and the wasted honeymoon days they had to wait for, cancel visits and travel to get the package. read more

Worst UPS in the area!! They charge double or triple compared to other UPS stores. The place is like a racket. I went there to ship a small monitor and they asked for $74 just for packaging!! I left, went to the UPS store in Shenandoah and they asked for $27 for the same service. It's a joke. Same thing with shipping charges. A few weeks earlier they tried to charge me $53 for a package and it cost $38 at another location. All UPS stores are run as franchises and this one is the greediest of all.
