We both wish our tripleta sandwiches had more noticeable "mayo-ketchup" pink sauce, though, to better balance the meats. But! Those meats were JUICY perfection in thay beautifully-caramelized crunchy-yet-soft fresh bread -- great size, too. My only disappointments were the yuca con mojo and sancocho soup. The yuca was oily & didn't have that traditional garlicky flavor and texture I'm used too. Felt too soggy and somewhat bland. The sancocho had good flavor, but way too thin -- not the traditionally hearty, root-vegetable-filled goodness I know and love. It was more of a gandules/bean soup w/ beef pieces than anything. I had ordered it thinking if my fiber intake and as a great veggie side dish, so I was a little sad. Still, all the food was great tasting, fresh, and just like a family member cooked it all for us. Best of all, customer service is *STAR* quality. So please, come and support this GREAT local business! We're def coming back. PS.
