In my opinion, most of the items were not priced to sell. They were being overvalued. The pricing was for the customer that comes in looking for a specific item for a specific purpose. We were just browsing for fun and unique finds and left with a pair of cuff links, a piece of costume jewelry, a few handkerchiefs and a book. We saw other items that we were interested in, but after doing some price comparison, we were able to find the same or similar items on online marketplaces such as eBay for less. The staff were kind and helpful. We stayed right up until closing time, and they never lost their professionalism or kindness like some businesses probably would when customers walk in moments before closing and disregard them when a shopkeeper reminds them. This was not us (we were there for about 2 hours), but I did witness this happening.

I am not sure of the future of the strip mall since I believe the nearby strip mall with SoHo cafe is closing Dec 30 permanently and slated to be demolished.

Some of this stuff is vintage enough that I don't want to take a chance on breaking it with my chair. You can get art here. You can get music here. You can get clothing here. You can get some furniture here. If you look up this place on social media, you'll see that they actually have "& Curiosities" in their name - that's appropriate because they have quite a bit that I would simply call "curiosities." Prices range from "great deal" to WTF?" It seems like when I've been here, I've always seen quite a bit that falls into mid-century. That's kind of appropriate considering an awful lot of SoBro would fall into that era (including my home - a 1955 California ranch). When they are open, they are known for putting some items outside (which is how I finally stopped - I saw a wonderful retro dining room table that was to die for). People are friendly and knowledgeable. I honestly don't know a lot about the place, other than I find it to be ultra-cool, and I've never stopped by that I didn't see something I'd want (and will sometimes get). If you're into the vintage scene, SoBro Vintage Market is definitely worth a visit. Each piece was amazing and the owners knew the background and stories of every item I inquired about. A very helpful sales woman named Christine was very patient and helpful, despite the fact that she knew I was not going to make any sizable purchases. The shop, which is open on Saturdays (which is convenient) specializes in f 18th-20th Century European antique furniture, accessories, and outdoor garden items. They always have new inventory and constantly acquiring new pieces. This was one of the best shopping experiences of my life. I cannot wait to return!

I said to the lady behind the counter that not many people would pay $5 for VHS tapes and she responded with "Yeah, well we sell them at that price every day." I said, "You don't have to argue with me" and we left! Goodwill and other Flea Markets average $1 for VHS tapes, including brand new and sealed.
