First of all when I walked in it was disgusting. It was only me and my mom in there and we waited probably 30 minutes, when it was completely empty. I walked in the dental room it was moldy and overall unprofessional. The lady made me do an x-ray probably six times over and over again which can be dangerous, and made me put on the lead apron myself. Then told me I would need to pull out four teeth to get braces and then false advertised online that the braces were $95-165$ a month, which was a lie. Then proceeded to run a credit check, also the dental equipment looked old and it stinks!!! hate to leave a bad review but beware! read more

My experience at Apple Dentist today was incredibly frustrating, and it's not the first time I've had issues here. I wish I had gone somewhere else a long time ago. I got my braces taken off on 8/17/24, and I was told that my retainers would be ready the next day. Despite calling multiple times, I couldn't get through until Monday, only to find out my retainers still weren't ready. When I finally got ahold of someone on Tuesday, my retainers were ready, but no one had bothered to notify me. Today, on 8/22/24, I went in for an appointment to make sure my retainers were fitting correctly. Dr. Jayaratne checked me out, and I told him that the top retainer was cutting into my gums and causing them to bleed. He took the retainers to make adjustments, then said he'd be back after seeing another patient. Yessian, the assistant, filed down the retainers, but when I tried them on, the bottom ones felt even worse than before. When I mentioned this, Yessian became upset and insisted that the doctor said they were fine, pushing me to leave and schedule another appointment. I refused because Dr. Jayaratne had said he'd return to check on me. After some back and forth, Yessian spoke to someone at the front desk about me, and another assistant, Ana, came over, insisting the retainers were supposed to feel uncomfortable at first. I explained that the first retainers I had were more comfortable than the ones that had just been adjusted. To my shock, Ana took the retainer out of my hand and snapped it in half without explanation. When I asked why she did that, she walked off and later became very disrespectful when I followed up. I asked to speak to a manager, only to be told there wasn't one available. Ana's actions and attitude were humiliating, especially in front of other customers. While Dr. Jayaratne and another employee apologized for Ana's behavior, I was left without a retainer to go home with. One kind assistant offered to stay late to make a new retainer, which I appreciated, but I ended up spending over two and a half hours at the dentist office. Even after all of this, Ana never apologized and continued to give me dirty looks. I'm over Apple Dentist and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

The absolute worst place I've ever been in contract with! They are the worst! I had my daughter start ortho treatment here. They kept sending me ads on social media because I was actively looking into them and comparing prices. I finally selected them.. We make appointments before we leave every time.. somehow even if you have an appointment you have to wait up to an hour before you are called! When we finally complained after happening more than 5 times they would say things like "I don't knows what's going on" or "you must of not heard your name" (are you kidding me?)I started to leave my daughter here while I run errands and they still take longer even after an hr of errands I come back and still wait because she has not been called. This is not okay and they are not nice at the front desk. They try make themselves look busy so they don't answer your questions. I don't let my daughter take headphones in because she knows I don't like waiting longer than I should and I wanted to make sure it wasn't her fault. If we don't make it to an appointment we pay full price for the appointment which is fair. But when this happens every time you visit yet you still pay for it. It's just not okay! The worst dentist office in Houston. 1. The wait time is LOOOOOOOONG I come in once a month for my braces and I'm usually waiting about 4 hours just to get my wires changed. 2. EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This location literally hires just anyone and then they fail to do proper training. office management is EXTREMELY unorganized. they office is a disarray and very hectic. DO NOT RECOMMEND. i came for a consultation for braces and upon being brought to the back for an x-ray, a front receptionist called me to verify if i was there. after completing my x-ray, i was brought to the treatment area where there were patients lined up already, leaving no room for myself. they then asked me to wait in the front, then called me back in minutes later only to realize they still had no room for me & yet again, asked me wait in the front. after this first impression of apple denist i decided against using their services as braces would be a long term commitment & this was just too much to deal with on a first hand experience with them. i cannot imagine what every experience after this would be like. read more

I paid my braces off in full on 3/27/21. They did not submit my payment until 5/14/21, more than 2 months later, and only because I kept asking why I was getting late notices. They then expected me to pay all of the late fees and told me it was a personal problem. After many long and stressful discussions I was able to get the late fees waived. I am now being denied the service I already paid for in full. They leave me waiting for over 3 hours, just to be ignored and turned away. The have called the cops on me, humiliated me, lied to me, and disrespected me for expecting them to do their job, a job that as mentioned I paid for. 1.0 star rating 12/12/2020 I'm a father of two girls and bough the dental braces for two, the treatment was or is in process but after taking off the braces, the teeth for one girl is getting out of place and the plastic retainers are breaking because of the same issue, this has been happening over the time of 8 months and the doctors can't do much because they are limited to administration, I had to ask the doctor about the situation and I spoke to the manager at the location, her name is Margarita and this is a manager that the position is way too big for her, I offer to pay for the expenses for the parts needed to have the job completed but I got a price of $800 to repair the issue, on top of this, the other girl has broken plastic braces and this braces are made at this location for $75 dollars but because of this issue going on, now they want to charge me $300 for the plastic braces this is per Samatha, I ask to talk to someone above here and she said that it was not going to happen, so at this point I'm looking to talk to someone else, other wise, I might have to bring them to court, and if other people are having a similar situation, would be good to get together and take this place to go out of business or get them to do their job right. I had a very horrible experience here today. I came in here for a simple six month cleaning and left with a burning sensation on the corner of my mouth. I had Dr. Rajagopal and the DA Hira. First things first, they didn't give me the consent forms to sign until after the procedure was over. Second, they collected my payment for the six month cleaning in the middle of treatment AS THE DOCTOR WAS ADMINISTRATING THE PROCEDURE. I had to go through my purse and find the money while the suction thing was still in my mouth and the doctor took two steps back. GHETTO and UNETHICAL. Third, the DA expressed to me that they do not use real fluoride at the clinic, and that it's actually crushed vitamins of sorts! I swear to God what even?! Whatever they claim as "fluoride" isn't actually fluoride. The DA spreads the "fluoride" all over my teeth (which was fine) but she got some on the outside of my mouth and it began to burn really bad. I even got two little white bubbles on the corner of my lip now from this chemical reaction. Whatever is in that "fluoride" will burn your skin and cause irritation. I was feeling a burning sensation in the corner of my mouth even after I wiped off the "fluoride" aka crushed mystery vitamins and it's been 3.5 hours after my appointment from today and the burning still hasn't gone. I addressed my situation to the DA and instead of showing any concern or helping reduce the burning sensation I was expressing to her, she told me that it's all in my head?! Girl, I DID NOT WALK IN HERE WITH A BURNING SENSATION IN THE CORNER OF MY MOUTH?! Then I walked away from her because she's useless and went to Dr. Rajagopal who turned out to be the same as her. I told him where the burning site was and that whenever I touch this region of my mouth or move it, it burns. His response was a chuckle and to not touch it then. WTF! I had to tolerate his smart ass comment after already dealing with burning skin irritation. What kind of doctor treats his patient like that with little to no concern?! SOMEONE TAKE HIS LICENSE AWAY! Also, who gave you the right to tell me what and what not to touch on my face? It literally burns when I MOVE MY LIPS WHEN I SPEAK. So is the solution for me to never talk? I did not have the time or patience to deal with this doctor's bullshit so I went back to the front desk and dealt with a separate matter in orthodontics. Fourth, remember when they collected my payment in the middle of my procedure? I never got my receipt for that payment! They never gave me any proof of my payment. I had to call later and requested it to be emailed to me. This company will be hearing from my lawyer, and they have no idea that I'm a pre-law student for healthcare and dental malpractice. read more

Nothing is ever done correctly, they have awful time management as well. They have made me spend 4 hours waiting just to my bands changed which took a literal 10 minutes. They put my braces on without permission.
