Sadly I need to replace my earbuds and my Apple Care is not what it is cracked up to be :-/ Jennifer is helping me and she ran a diatonic test on my earbuds and according to the Apple suggest that I send the buds back to them and they will send me another pair. I should be able to swap out the earbuds case and be on my merry way. But this is not what I expected. My other option was to purchase another pair of earbuds and then return them and get a refund when I get my original ones back. Well Jennifer must have checked with someone because after a brief time sitting by myself she came back and said that they will exchange my earbuds. I'm not sure if Jennifer knew what she was doing. The Apple Store at Downtown Nashville is big and bright. We visited to pick up an item and three employees offered to assist us. It's okay, but they should stop pushing products after I've declined. It feels like dealing with a used car salesman. Not cool, Apple staff. Just relax and appreciate the customers who come in. Your products sell themselves. I highly recommend this Apple Store at Broadway and fifth in Nashville. I'm traveling and drop my phone in unfortunately cracked my protective cover. I was able to go in and purchase the screen they had a great selection without standing service and really excellent cost best of all was the service by Jonathan who installed the protective screen on my phone. 2 Issues: 1. Apple Care returned my iPhone defective. The back was not glued properly and separated. 2. I went into this apple store to repair the defective Apple repair. Apple said they provide a voucher for free parking however they took longer than an hour with the wait and I had to pay or my car would be towed. Terrible service and lack of information. You should let people know that when you make an appointment it doesn't mean you'll be seen at that particular time. It could be 20 to 30 to even an hour later before you're being seen. Also, when you make the appointment over the phone, the information about your parking being validated at two particular parking spots in downtown Nashville is not given over the phone. I've driven from outside of downtown Nashville twice now just to get a battery replaced and it still hasn't happened. They didn't actually have another phone like mine so they warned me that if they they made a mistake, I could go for 3 to 5 days with no phone. They also don't tell you that you need to block out three hours of your time just to have a battery replaced . The free parking is only validated for one hour and the last time I went, I waited 30 minutes past my appointment just to be seen by a service person . This was at 7:45 PM on a Monday night. my previous experience was a little better as far as Customer Service. Definitely disappointed in this Apple downtown location of Nashville . read more

Kind of crazy to see an Apple store in this location, but since it was here, we couldn't resist popping in to check out a couple things. Actually having had an Apple Watch 7 on backorder for a bit, we thought this would be a good opportunity to see if maybe they had one at the store ... no such luck. But, that being said, the staff were really friendly, tried to recommend alternatives .... at the end of the day, we didn't change what we wanted, but we appreciate the help they offered and the knowledge level they had of the product line up. Store is really nice and they have plenty of space between all of the items that are on display, so you don't have to be on top of one another if you want to check something out. If you're a fan of Apple, I'd recommend checking this store out, it's really nice. read more

My right ear bud quit working recently after about a year's use - they were taken care of so I was surprised they didn't last long - I also have a friend at work who has had the same exact thing happen in about a year to his right earbud as well - another $200.00 down the drain for a new pair - I went to this store and my advisor was Mitchell - I was there about an hour and forty five minutes - he ran some diagnostic tests and then took the earbuds in the back - when he came out he said I had generation 1 and 2 earbuds so somehow I must have gotten them switched up somehow - I let him know that I live alone and have not been around anyone with earbuds let alone ones that are out of my ears - he told me he tried to reset them but because of what I had done with the Apple rep on the phone the day before he could not reset them because they were different - I told him that was not my fault they must have given me the wrong ones when I bought them and they should replace the right one - he said it was out of warranty and there was nothing he could do - I asked if the right one would work with another one of the same generation and he said yes so I told him I shouldn't have to buy a new one if the one I have will work as long as it is the same as the other one - he said he talked with his supervisor and I would have to buy another one for $90.00 and that was all he could do - I didn't have a choice so I paid for a new one and it's hard to believe but I opened the box and put the new one in the case - I reached for the box to put my extra rubber pieces in and he said they keep the box - I said you mean I paid $90.00 for one earbud and I don't get the box - he said nope we keep the box - he then said I had to give him my old ear bud - I told him no I don't because I own it and he is not giving me any credit for it so I'm not giving it to him for free - he said I had to because he was selling another one at the non-warranty price - I asked isn't that the highest price you have and he said yes - I asked again then why do I have to give you my earbud that I own and he said because we recycle it and he's selling me another one - so to sum up - they apparently sold me earbuds that did not match, then had me do something that un-synced them from my phone - then told me they would work if I had the right generation ones together - then refused to give the right one - gave me no other option than to buy a new one - would not give me the box - forced me to give him my earbud which I owned and I didn't even get a sack to the put the additional rubber pieces in - an unbelievable and outrageous experience - the worst retail experience I've ever had - I've never had anyone tell me I had to give them something I own in order to sell me another one at full price - no more earbuds - no more Apple anything for me!! read more

I was surprised to see the low rating for the store until I experienced it myself. I brought my iPad in for help downloading a newer version of iOS. I couldn't get it to download on my own. Instead of fixing my issue, they made my iPad completely inoperable and blamed it on a "hardware issue". My iPad was functioning just fine when I brought it in. They offered to give me $95 towards the purchase of a new which I said I would think about. The next day I went in to speak to a manager since I was not happy with the situation. I got the pleasure of interacting with Jill, a nervous, junior manager who had no decision-making authority. I explained what happened and all she could say was "what can I do to make this right?"-- a patronizing phrase she must have learned in her management 101 course. Each time I suggested something that could make it right, she would have to go the back for an answer and each time I was told "no". I finally agreed to the $95 towards a new one which she had confirmed was possible. Again she went to the back and emerged saying that the $95 was actually not possible (after both she and her colleague the previous day had offered that). She said my iPad was too old (3.5 years appears to be considered too old). I asked why she told me I could get $95 before checking and she said "we throw around numbers all of the time" before we check. When I turned her question back at her "what can YOU do to make this right?", her was response was "sell you a new iPad". You can't make this stuff up. I would avoid this store due to incompetent employees--especially Jill, the alleged manager. read more

Five Stars for Ogen at Apple! I'm a flight attendant and was just in Nashville for one night and one morning, and my charger on my Mac stopped working. PANIC MODE. I walked into the store without an appointment and was seen within 5 minutes. Ogen helped me get the right cable for my Mac, helped me find the right wall attachment for the phone I ordered last week through my phone carrier, and helped me pick out the right Apple Watch for my needs. Even though I will be making those bigger purchases later and only purchased the cords and wall plug on this trip, he helped me and wasn't pushy. He also showed me a traveling kit for charging that is perfect for my needs since I'm traveling constantly. It was such a helpful experience, Ogen really know his stuff and was very easy to interact with. A great experience, 10/10 would recommend! read more

Apple really went downhill ever since Steve Jobs passed away. I bought phones over the years and almost every new phone had some kind of issues that they had to send back to factory. iPhone XR had a screen issue that's factory's fault but they don't notify you and when you find out the problem is their fault they said oh sorry it's only covered under this program for 3 years. If you want to pay to get it fixed it will cost you more than the phone. My iPhone thirteen pro, bought brand new and after 3 months the camera froze and they said it's due to a factory error and they would fix it for free but I had to waste so much time backup my phone before I gave it to them to fix and I was without my new phone for almost 2 weeks. The company is headed to bankruptcy and I cannot wait because they really deserve it. They're greedy people who release the same phone every year with minimal changes. And they changes they do make are useless. Bigger screens, more cameras, more colors, different charging ports, different headphone ports. All of that isn't necessary. Their "budget" models cost as much as a really great midrange android phone. Every year they release a new iPhone or Mac and changes the charging cord so you have to buy new ones so they can make more money. They deliberately slow down phones if you don't upgrade to their newest model that got them in a lawsuit in France lately. Unethical company. They make their phone screen so fragile and it's easy to break and when it does if you don't have Apple care they charge you an arm and a leg to replace. Cannot wait to see the day Apple goes down. No wonder xiaomi is banned in the USA, apple would be replaced like yesterday because Xiaomi has way better phones and they don't screw their customer over. My friend (who recently lost most of her vision) and I went to the apple store to find a computer that would work for her. She thought she wanted a laptop but Ty and Kevin steered her to cheaper model, a desktop with a really big monitor. They were awesome. They spent a lot of time with her. We had a lot of questions. We then made an appointment for a specialist (the amazing Britney) to help her set up the computer for her specific needs and taught her how to talk to the computer as well as manipulate the keyboard. Britney and Kevin worked with her for 2.5 hours. They were amazing! She and I are so grateful for their time, patience, knowledge and expertise. When we left, Kevin said, we are family now. WATCH OUT!!!!! I thought I'd save myself the 2 hour round trip drive to the Apple store near my hometown by going to this Apple store in Nashville TN while on vacation 2 weeks ago. I bought a series 7 stainless steel watch and band (more than $900 total) while in Nashville on vacation and found out today from Apple Repair, it was not only shattered on the back but also cracked on the side of the case. in the Nashville Apple Store I was first brought the wrong aluminum watch. And then they brought out the stainless watch and opened the package - which was not sealed or wrapped - and he put the band on the watch face and then put the watch onto my wrist I told the guy at the time it felt like the sensors or something was 'prickling on my skin'. He said it was the sensor or the stainless steel Milanese band and not to worry about it. Then when he tried to show me how to use it, the battery was fully dead. I had to use the cord that comes with the watch to charge it in the store. It was only 17% charged after 20 minutes. He went to help other people and I thought I'd just finish charging it at the hotel. I started getting small cuts on my wrist but thought it was the band. I dutifully charged the watch each morning as the guy instructed but it wouldn't fully hold the charge. I never looked at the back because I had to put the charger on the back. When I got home my daughter looked at the watch (she has the series 5) and we saw the back of mine was shattered so much and that was what was cutting my skin! Needless to say I called Apple Support right then to log a complaint and get the watch replaced. Bianca at Apple Support was nice but I was disconnected twice. good thing they can call you back! The next day I took the watch to the Apple store an hour drive one way from my house. The technician stated it was Apple issue and I wouldn't be charged. I now have an email from Apple repair facility and they found another crack in the case. They refuse to honor the no charge repair. I know these cracks were not made by me. I never dropped it or hit it. I truly believe the guys at this store knew I wouldn't see these problems in time to return the watch before I left Nashville. Now I have to pay to fix a watch I wore for less than a week (confirmed by Apple it was never in the water or shower) and I won't get the new watch in time to return it for a refund within the 14 day return window. BEWARE!!!!! Fully look over anything you buy in this store with a magnifying glass. I'm sure people on vacation are easy prey for this store. And just so you know I'm not hard on my Apple products, I still have and use multiple Apple Products that are still fully functional and have never had any damage - iPad 2, iPhone 5, IPad Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro. I guess I am glad I paid extra for Apple Care but this watch has now cost nearly $1000! I really feel like I have been ripped off by the employees in this Nashville store who foistEd a damaged product on an unsuspecting and out of town tourist who trusted them. read more
