Be very weary here. The customer service isn't great. They treat customers like you're bothering them for asking questions. I've been here several times and felt uncomfortable asking questions before. This time I purchased a small item and I specifically asked about a 30 day exchange or return policy and was told if there was an issue I can exchange or get store credit if there were ANY issues with the product. That was a lie. The charger I purchased got stuck the first time I tried to use it and they won't honor what they said, a 30 day exchange or credit. It's not an expensive product I don't care about the money it's the principle. Now the sales person is switching up what they said they said. I should've noticed the 2.5 stars here before purchasing. read more

I purchased a JBL MA 310 Audio reviever on besbuy.com at a discounted price. When it arrived I set it up and found that it had connection issues to the TV. I went to return the deffective product back to best buy and was told I needed to contact the seller. I called Electronic express's customer service and was given no help with my issue what so ever. I was told I had to return the product to them and then buy another on at full price.The manager was rude and condescending. This is a terrible store with horrendous practices. Upon receiving an empty watch box from them (I ordered a garmin fenix 8 solar on their site), I was asked to provide pictures of the delivery and that they would have a resolution within 10 business days. I provided exactly what was asked and never heard anything back from them. I filed a better business bureau complaint. They never replied. If there were an option to give zero stars for delivery, I would have. I paid $130 for installation, plus a $40 tip, only to find that the team left without connecting the drain hose--resulting in water flooding my apartment. I had to move the washer myself to clean underneath it, which was incredibly frustrating. I called the customer service number from the tracking message and waited over 10 minutes before someone finally answered and told me they'd send the team back. They did come again about 10 minutes later, but by then I had already gone through a lot of stress, and damage had been done to the apartment. Completely unprofessional. We have usually had success with Electronic Express but we will no longer be using them for anything. We ordered a 75" TV and when they loaded it in the back of my new Lexus SUV they scratched my seat and ripped the back gasket in my trunk. I called Taiwan the store manager several times and he promised to get back to me with a solution which he never did. I also called the corporate office twice and they promised me a district manager would call me back with a solution which never happened. In December we bought a dishwasher and hired Electronic Express to install it. They came and installed it incorrectly and we had to have them come out again. They did install it correctly the second time but in the process they damaged our tile floor. The worker apologized and said that it would be taken care of however that has not happened. My wife called them shortly after and they said they they were aware of it and we took that as a promise of coming action to resolve the issue. After not being able to get in touch with anyone on the matter I reported them to the BBB. They then lied and said that the tile was broken before they came out. They are not only reckless in their work but dishonest. I am not sure what it would cost to replace the tile they broke, but their unwillingness to take responsibility for damage they caused is an unacceptable business practice. read more

I purchased a TV on Thanksgiving with holiday pricing waiting around a week while it said pending shipment. The day after all the holiday pricing is over my order was canceled after basically holding my money for a week and I was told it was due to not having the product, but it took a week? And a employee told me they had many in the warehouse. So I proceed to call corporate and was informed that there's nothing they can do after accepting my money and not canceling immediately so now I'm out money basically 2 weeks waiting for refund. Corporate also told me that if I'd like to purchase for full price in the future to feel free, but they don't do roll backs on pricing or price matching. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHADY COMPANY. The manager of this store did try to help, but in the end it failed just as this company did. Yes that TV was out of stock, but your website is showing on order and that you'll have soon. Electronic Express has quite literally THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. We bought a washer and dryer from them in the summer of 2022, and the delivery team completely banged up our brand new drywall and a door causing hundreds of dollars of damage. Then they left without owning up to anything. We filed a damage claim immediately. It's now almost a year later, and we still have not been reimbursed for the damage caused by the home delivery team. On November 19th, I received a new LG oven from this company. After hooking it up, I noticed it was not baking properly. All items were coming out undercooked. So I called LG as the Electronic Express website, after a thorough investigation, stated that returns were not possible. LG advised me to calibrate the oven and purchase an oven thermometer. So I did. My thermometer arrived on Friday, December 4th. After using the oven thermometer and testing the oven out, it was found that the oven would be as much as 100F off. So I called LG back and demanded a repair technician. December 7th, the repair technician came out and stated that the oven needed a new board. That the one found in oven was defective. Electronic Express will not refund or replace. Beware they are selling defective items. read more

When I reported the issue to their customer service team, they could not have been more helpful. They processed the return immediately and provided a UPS label for free shipping. The refund posted to my credit card within 24 hours of their receiving the return package. Overall a very positive experience. I recently financed a computer through this location. My experience in person with the guy helping me with the process was phenomenal. I have nothing negative to say about that portion of the customer experience. He even stayed late to ensure the process was complete. The issue I have is with the payments each month. The communication is spot on, however, the payment methods accepted are primitive at best. You have to mail it in (I don't ever mail money, too much of a liability for me) or pay it in person in their Madison location. That's a 45 minute round trip for me. Seems a little excessive considering all of the internet based convenient options available. I feel that for optimal customer experience that should definitely be an option. read more

Purchased a washer and dryer from electronic express 2 months ago. The washer was defective which they did replace. 6 weeks later the dryer stops heating. After waiting 2 weeks for a repair from the Samsung repairman, he leaves and tells me it was faulty installation. Nothing he can do about it. I then called the electronic express location that I purchased it at (100 oaks) and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. This company should no longer be in business with the customer service they offer. Stay away. read more

Received a confirmation email from Amazon about the payment, no confirmation email from Electronic Express. My card was charged on 10/3. This is almost beyond words. I paid for delivery and installation of my dishwasher, but it hardly worked out that way. On the day of the delivery, my wife stayed home to allow the installer entry to my home. The installer requested the water and the power be turned off. She did as he requested and he insisted the water was not off and asked her to check it again. My wife turned 3 water valves off to assure that the water was off and opened the valves on the lower level of our home to drain the lines; he still proclaimed that he could hear water in the line and would not be able to install the dishwasher. My wife called me to tell me of the issue. I requested to speak to the installer. He relayed the same to me that he could hear the water and would be unable to install the device. I asked him " Are you standing in front of the kitchen sink?" he said "yes". I then instructed him to turn the faucet on and tell me if water was coming out. He then told me that the water was not coming out of the sink. I asked him if it was safe to assume if there is no water to the sink; there would be no water to the dishwasher. He agreed and proceeded to install the device. About a half hour later my wife called again. She said the installer had told her this time that the dishwasher was one inch too tall and would not fit. I asked to speak to him again. He told me that I had bought the wrong size dishwasher and that because of the tile flooring the device would not fit. I asked him to just leave the device alone and I would check it when I returned home. As I examined the device; I noticed that there were two small screws on the top that were for anchoring the device to a wooden counter top. My top is marble so I removed the screws and pushed the device in to place. Having a strong feeling as to the competency of the serviceman thus far, I decided to inspect the installation closer. I found that the wire had been installed without the use of a wire connector in the box to secure the connection and that the wire itself had arc burns that would have challenged the integrity of the wire. I don't feel the installer caused the damage to the wire, but he should have known that the damaged wire should be cut back to a point of healthy wire or replaced. As I removed the wire, I noticed that the installer had left the spring from a wire nut on the wire and had connected it to the connecting block of the dishwasher. This would cause a loose bonding of the wire causing overheating of the wire and possibility resulting in a fire. I repaired the wiring and reinstalled it to its proper form. I looked under the sink to examine the water connection to find that it was leaking. I then repaired the loose connection and proceeded to test the device. This goes beyond just simple mistakes, to a point of gross negligence and reckless endangerment. This is total incompetency on many levels: first by the person that sent this man to my house and by his supervisor who should have known that this man was not qualified to do this work. And lastly by the serviceman who most certainly knew that he was not qualified to do the installation. I have an 80 year old blind, semi-ambulatory mother that lives in my home with my wife and I. I shudder to think what could have happened if I did not have the insight and knowledge to inspect and correct the work that had been performed by your Serviceman. I also ask that you put yourself in my place for a moment: how would you feel if this happened to you and your family. Not only to think about what could have happened, but this will caution me in the future when it comes time for me to invite another serviceman in to my home and trust him with the safety of my family and property. Electronic Express is a well established company and entrusted by thousands of families just like mine. You have greatly disappointed me and shattered my confidence in your company as well as other companies like yours. If Electronic Express could do this, who can I ever trust again? read more

I ordered a fridge a month ago, and I'm STILL waiting on a delivery date. It was over a week of silence right after I ordered, and at the time I was not frustrated, only curious. The man who helped me was very friendly, and scheduled me for a delivery that Saturday- except they attempted to deliver it on Friday. No one lives at the home yet, so of course no one was there to open the door and I sent my brother-in-law (which I told someone on the delivery team on the phone), and by the time he got there, there was only a note left. So, that day, I called to reschedule for the NEXT Saturday, and I even called again on Tuesday to verify Saturday was the delivery date. On Saturday, we had not heard from the delivery team about a time and so I called them. The man I spoke to told me I was NEVER scheduled for Saturday, and I was scheduled for Friday, but someone had gone into the system and moved it to the coming Tuesday. I DID NOT speak to them or consent to this, I explicitly asked for Saturday as I'm not there during the week, AND I have an email from them telling me my delivery date was scheduled for 04/02. He told me the truck had already left and there was no way to get it delivered that day. So we rescheduled for the NEXT Saturday... After I got off of the phone with him and I spoke to my partner, I decided to call back and ask for a manager. The man that answered the phone told me "The manager is not here, but I'm the closest to it." He was rude the whole time we spoke, and he told me that we needed to set up a delivery date because THERE WAS NONE. Even though I spoke to someone 10 minutes before this that told me I was scheduled for next Saturday. I am EXTREMELY frustrated by my experience so far and I haven't even received my product. DO NOT order from Electronic "Express" if you need your product within a month, because you won't get it. EDIT: I finally was told they sold the fridge I ordered and no longer have it in stock after being lied for two weeks. Folks, I am not one to complain about a lot of places, but when you are rudely ignored from the moment you walk in the door, something has to be said. I went to this Electronic Express looking for some things to buy and a little money to spend. I walked in and walked around looking for what I needed. I couldn't find what I was looking for right away so I walked up to the counter. Had 2 sales people just completely ignore me. One even walked right past me without saying anything. No "I'll be right with you", no acknowledgement that I was standing right there. So, I walked around some more to look for what I came in for. Who I thought was a customer, a young lady, but was actually an associate saw me looking for something and still no acknowledgement. Again, I walked to the counter Word for word: Associate A - How can I help you? Me - Hey, how's it going? I am looking for an item (describing what I need) Associate A - (silence while typing) Me - If you have it in store, great Associate A - I'm looking Me - Ooooooook Associate A to Associate B - Do we have this? Associate B - Nope Associate A - Well, there's your answer (walks away to help someone else) That's was it. What if I wanted to order the part? What if I had something else I was looking for? This was my first time walking into any Electronic Express anywhere. Had a great experience here purchasing a work laptop here. Manager Josh helped me out with a display model that was priced around what you'd expect from a returned or refurbished laptop in a big box store. It's just for work so not too worried. After a day I noticed a thumbprint sized deadzone on the display. No worries, 7 days to return. I had a picture of the receipt on my phone but unfortunately the box had long been recycled as I travel for work. I don't even mind the damage, since it came from my work I can actually purchase an upgrade when I return it anyway. I came in and spoke with Josh and he said if I asked the main manager he would possibly be able to help me out. I come in the next day and speak with the other manager, he calls his supervisor and says he can take it. I hand over the laptop and get to looking at another model in the store, I had expressed that I didn't have any desire for a cash return, just wanted to exchange and upgrade and I'd gladly pay (literally double the sale) more for something better. An employee walks up to me about 15 minutes later and informs me they are having problems resetting the PC. I walk over and they show me they've tried to reset but there was some problem. I put in my password and they try again. No such luck. At this point the PC is half-wiped and everything I've installed is essentially corrupted or removed from multiple partial resets. The manager says if he can't reset the PC he can't process the return. Fair enough. I sit down in the store and start troubleshooting. Apparently PCs that come with pre-installed Win 10 are prone to this issue. I start going down a list of possible solutions and start applying fixes. I'm in the store at this point for over an hour and a half. I finish going through all the possible solutions and I start the reset process again and approach the manager. I ask him which reset they use and he says, "the top one, but I don't know what's wrong with it so I'm not gonna take it back anyway". This was something nobody had the willingness to tell me for the hour I spent working on this computer in the store. Not only did they waste my entire morning, they would rather be rid of their faulty floor model than make a larger sale, have a repeat customer, or leave me with a laptop that functions. Their initial reset potentially compromised the functionality of the computer and I essentially get an "Oh well, tough luck." Update: Called back in and asked to speak to the manager again, informed the employee who answered that I had a Windows 10 install on flash drive and I could reset the computer very easily, is there any way I could attempt to return it again. Granted, I will likely have to do this anyway because they were too inept to finish the mess they created in the store. The employee stepped away and then said "the manager already told you no".
