Do not waste your money on the extended warranty for the Roomba j5+. My husband bought it and was not told the warranty only covers a single repair -- a major red flag. When I tried to use the warranty, Best Buy denied the claim because the Roomba's camera malfunctioned and it ran over dog feces. Their policy excludes coverage for malfunctions caused by contact with human or animal urine or feces. The vacuum returned to its dock but then displayed a right-wheel error and would not operate. I cleaned it as thoroughly as possible without submerging it and brought it in for service, but they still refused coverage. After being told it wasn't covered, I replaced the wheel module myself and it didn't fix the problem, so the contamination likely damaged internal electronics. I was embarrassed to admit what happened but I was honest because I feared more damage. My $700 Roomba is now unusable -- the worst value I've experienced. We will not be buying from Best Buy again. read more

Can't believe how she acted and treated me like I was a nuisance . Maybe she was having a bad day but definitely didn't appreciate her. Will never go back ever again. Three months. Four delivery dates. Three days off work. Zero accountability. I ordered Café appliances from Best Buy on November 29, 2025. After repeated confirmations, unexplained cancellations, and a complete no-show delivery on February 9, 2026 (with no call, text, or email), Best Buy still could not tell me where my paid-for microwave was--or when it would arrive. Supervisors provided conflicting information, refused escalation, and continued to promise inventory that clearly did not exist. I canceled the order on February 9, purchased the same appliance from Home Depot the same day, and had it delivered on February 11--without issue. I didn't want apologies or gift cards. There are plenty of selections to choose from for multiple products and very knowledgeable employees. My favorite part is the lady who is up front always greeting with a bright smile on her face . I think her name is Lexi ? She always has fun hair and can definitely turn a bad day good with her energy . Title: Worst Customer Service & Warranty Scam - Avoid This Store! I had the absolute worst experience at the Best Buy on Charlotte Pike in Nashville, and I will never shop here again. I purchased a 75-inch Sony TV along with an extended warranty, expecting that if anything went wrong, Best Buy would honor their service agreement. That was a huge mistake. When my TV needed repairs, they scheduled three different appointments to come out between 7 AM and 7 PM. I took three full days off work, only for them to no-call, no-show all three times! Each time, they just rescheduled me for another week later, meaning another wasted day. Frustrated, I went into the store to speak with a manager and ask for contact info for the regional or district manager. They refused to provide any name or number. The store manager was discussing my $2,000 refund with another employee, and when she heard the price, she looked me dead in the eye and said, "My store is not taking a $2,000 return." Then things got worse. My son asked a simple question about the warranty, and instead of answering, the store manager told him to close his mouth. She repeatedly told him to "shut up"--three times! I have never seen such unprofessional and outright rude behavior from a supposed "manager." This entire experience has been a nightmare. The warranty department is a complete fraud, and I am out hundreds of dollars due to missed workdays. Best Buy has lost a customer for life. This Best Buy is always clean and has friendly staff. On this day we went to pick up a TV that I ordered for my father's birthday. We did the curbside pick up and this was a Saturday. I did expect them to be busy and they were, it took about 30 to 45 minutes to be acknowledged that we were waiting and then 5 to 10 minutes later they brought the TV out Again, I did expect this on a Saturday. If you go to a store or any customer driven business that is generally busy on a normal day it's going to be double or even triple that on the weekend. What I did notice is the people that pulled up right after us were getting very upset at their wait. This was overly complicated when the employee came out and asked us for our number even though we were there first. They stopped the employee on the way back into the store to ask why he did not get their number and he let them know that we were there first and they were very rude to the employee. He was clearly the only one working curbside, so it was going to take some time. This only made our wait longer because they'd gotten into such a huff. The employee seem to handle it very well though and I commend him for that as I may have handled it differently in my retail days. All in all, this is a good Best Buy and I do recommend it as I have never had any issues other than sometimes you do have to wait because of staffing issues or if you ordered something really big and they've got to get somebody who can help them bring it out. Which to me is not an issue and you should be glad to wait for good service. read more

This is a review of the curbside pick up service. I was greeted with a text upon arrival in a designated parking spot, after I alerted them I was here via my confirmation email. I easily switched my order to curbside service at that time, even though I had not indicated it when I placed my order. I opened up my book, assuming I would be waiting for a while. But an employee promptly came to my car window and asked me to pull up to the Loading zone, after checking my confirmation code. (I appreciated that they followed protocol!)As soon as I pulled up and popped my trunk, a nice young man placed my purchase in my trunk and I was on my merry way. This Best Buy is located in Nashville West, which is a massive shopping complex that sits along Charlotte Pike in the west end. For the most part, it is your standard Best Buy...but my visits here have been lackluster from a service perspective. I was recently in the market to buy an iPad Air and went to Best Buy to check them out before purchasing. I ended up making a few trips in, but one thing was constant with the trips...either the lack of service or poor service. On our first trip in, we walked by and were passed by multiple associates, not one of which asked if we needed help. You usually get spoke to at entry, but not here...it was a 15 minute trip, standing in front of the iPad table and walking around the computers with zero interaction with staff. The second trip we were spoken to at entry, but that is it...and then on the third trip, where I was ready to purchase, I arrived about 15 minutes prior to closing, but knew what I wanted and knew they had it in stock. I waited at the iPad table for 10 minutes before anyone came by and actually spoke. At this time, the first thing she said was "oh we don't have that in stock". I knew they did as I checked online before coming and when I shared this, she let me know that they closed in 5 minutes, but she would check if they had one. Well, of course they did and I went on to purchase. I was planning on buying the pencil and the magic case, but she was in such a hurry, she did not even check to see if I wanted anything else. She basically sprinted to the register and checked me out. I ended up buying both elsewhere, but still... Overall, the service rendered at this store is why the brick and mortar electronics stores are fading away. I really enjoy Best Buy, but I will stick to the online stores for all my electronics needs at this point. read more

The day after the game released I received the steel case but the game itself has yet to arrive and is now projected to arrive over a week after the release date. I had a terrible first experience and thought I would give them another chance before I made up my mind and wrote my review but the second time wasn't too much better. These are the same trends I noticed during my visits: 1. If you don't walk around forever looking for someone you will not be helped 2. They WILL NOT go out to their way to help you everything is "it is what it is" even when I spoke to the general manager I was given this same vibe and it's ridiculous. (He was not rude though - let me be clear) just not showing any effort to solve my issue 3. They don't honor the prices on the Best Buy website unless you make a fuss about it. Mind you I said Best Buy website that lost their store as in stock - not a price match. All in all, it may be a drive but if I were you I would just go to the Mt. Juliet location. I found customer service rude in assisting with their interest charge for the Geek Squad package. She played stupid and didn't know why I was calling. I asked to have the interest charges removed since they had received payments equal to over $350 in one month which would have paid the Geek Squad package in full. She "Elisha" insisted on telling me she didn't know what I was asking for. I specifically said several times to please remove the interest charge on my account. After 5 minutes on the phone, she removed the charges. I guess Best Buy pays her to argue with the customer. Staff like that should be sent home, but that is what we get these days, people who can't figure out how to help the customers. read more

While I'm sure the guy behind the "Store Pick Up" desk ~5pm on Monday, August 15th (let's say his name begins with a "J") has unrecognized strengths.... customer service is not one of them. I ordered online for store pickup b/c it showed only one of the item I wanted in the store. I drove to the store in Nashville West, putted around Target, returning an item and shopped. Thinking more than enough time had passed (probably 40 mins or so), I went into Best Buy where "J" told me the order wasn't ready & I'd need to wait until someone pulled the order. I sat and waited another ~15 mins with only the Geek Squad guy asking me if he could help me. Finally I asked for the manager, who was FANTASTIC! He immediately said "oh we didn't have that one." I sent my brother to the " geek squad " to fix the front screen of an iPhone11 as soon as he enters he's greeted and immediately told it would be 400 dollars??? Luckily enough I was on the phone with him and was able to see an actual price online. An agent was there at that time and could have fixed it and didn't and he was told that he'd have it fixed for him by tomorrow (today) so I send my brother back to the store to get his phone and another worker tries to return the phone unfixed after spending 218 dollars yesterday to have it fixed. And when my brother says I paid for it the worker says "well I can refund you and you can take it to Apple instead, if not you'll have to wait till tomorrow" there absolutely no sense of urgency and the workers are extremely rude. 10 people working in an electronic store that literally is there to fix devices and only one person can fix his phone??? This was the worst visit to a Best Buy I have ever had. I was looking for a remote starter for my vehicle. When entered the greeter said "hello" and I said "hello" back to them and then they turned and continued what they were doing. I walked through the store looking for the correct area and I passed three employees who did not say anything or ask if I needed assistance. If anything, I felt as if they were trying to avoid making eye contact with me. I found the area I needed in the back left corner of the store. No employee around to assist me so I used their store computer to look up the information and make my decision. I will purchase the remote starter and have it installed at different location since it appeared that the staff here is too busy to bother with me. read more

I went in 2 days in a row and the first time I was told by an employee he'd be right with me and I saw him help at least 3 other people before me. I thought I was there before them but whatever. No biggie! I asked someone else to help me and he said he couldn't and the guy I already asked is the only one who could help me. So I waited like 45 min. Then he told me they didn't have what I wanted but if I come back tomorrow they would have a new shipment and I could get it then. So I left! When I went back I was helped within 2 min of walking in the store! Aaron helped me and he was great, but he told me they still did not have what I wanted. He then helped me with the trade in of my old laptop and the purchase of the new one. He set it up so it would be shipped straight to my home which is easier than going back again! I wish I would have done that from the start. Overall great experience, I understand they are busy and getting pulled in different directions especially after Black Friday so I don't hold it against them! They need a better system to assist customers in order of arrival. Create a designated and labeled line/waiting area. All of the workers in the computer department walked by my husband and I and our kids with no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. First time in this particular store, two days before Christmas, I was in and out. My purchases were on sale and finding a friendly and helpful cashier was quick and easy. I appreciated that the associate checked to see if I was getting the best holiday discount. Since my items (3 mobile portable chargers) were already on sale, they weren't eligible for the 25% off mobile accessories discount, unfortunately. So I walked out knowing that I was getting the best deal possible. So I ordered an Xbox one online for pickup. After I had already drove 40 min to get to the store I got a notification for an email while waiting in line that they didn't have my order in stock. I was fine with that, I totally understand how that could be messed up but my bank account had been charged, when I asked for a refund I was told there was nothing they could do and to call corporate. Installer (Good guy) Drilled a hole in my roof while mounting home theater speakers. The Best Buy claims department promised to send a settlement check of $350. And to replace the speaker. That was 9 months ago and still haven't received a check or a new speaker. I have made many calls to install managers who promised to get to the bottom of this matter. But no recent call backs or results, just the previous patronizing replies that now go unanswered. Hopefully, this message will be read by a store sales manager, who actually cares and one who will light a fire under someone's butt to resolve this issue. Too bad he or she has to find out this way that Best Buy just lost a whole Christmas seasons worth of business from my large family which is worth thousands of dollars $. UPDATE: it's now Feb 25. I've called the install manager 3 times in the past 5 days. No reply. I think I will just take Best Buy to small claims court just for general principle. Have been here multiple times in the last few months and the staff is rude or non-existent.

There's usually 2-3 employees standing at the entrance who will greet you and demand your receipt when exiting however they cannot help you. Whatever is on their phone is more important than who walks through those doors. Not a single one can help you with any department, questions or services other than directing you to customer service. Customer service isn't much better and they're actually pretty rude. Out of the entire store and all it's useless employees and managers there's one guy that's been helpful. He deserves a raise for everything he has to put up with and his patience. He helped us with finding the right tv for our space. This has been a sad experience and a very blatant example of why physical retail store are dying. I will happily drive the extra 30 mins to go to the Cool Springs location next time. read more

I'm a total tech member. I brought my computer parts in to get my computer assembled and was met with a receptionist at Geeksquad telling me that they're concerned about open boxed personal computer parts from customers because of possible theft. I told the receptionist that I bought the parts from bestbuy!!!! He looked up the serial numbers and confirmed that my parts were purchased from bestbuy and apologized telling me that they had previous issues with customers who had stolen parts. This is UNPROFESSIONAL!! Mind you I'm an African American male so having to go through the receptionist saying that and looking up the serial number seemed accusatory. I was met with a lot of apologies but the question remains would he had said that to someone else that didn't look like me ? I've spent over $15,000.00 at this location so I was extremely upset with the receptionist for trying to put me through that. This location isn't known for the best customer service. If you want good customer service go to the cool springs location. You will get a more friendly staff that treat their customers equally. I will be canceling total tech soon due to this. Geeksquad fixes personal computers and replace parts all the time, that's the purpose of Geeksquad. I'm sure they don't lookup every customers personal serial number to their items to see if it was purchase through them.
