An absolute terrible and unprofessional experience during a windshield replacement--scheduling was simple, easy and convenient and that's where it ends. The service is where it fails miserably. It took almost 2.5 hours to replace a windshield. I had to ask for an update twice only to be told on both occasions "soon." Even after asking for an estimated time of completion "soon" was the response. I was then asked to submit payment before their payment system closes at 5pm. Pay for a service that's incomplete without an actual update? Unprofessional. I discover the technician was apparently having difficulty putting the windshield moldings back together and in the correct position. This could have been shared initially. I was told pieces broke and they were replacing the broken pieces. Now that the business is closed and the gentlemen want to go home--the vehicle comes out. I open the hood to check the work of the molding and there's not a single molding clip screw in place. I bring this to their attention and it's a "oh I didn't know they weren't in" then they proceed to try and place make-shift pieces through out as a quick fix. Manager was called and would supposedly rectify this situation. Welp! Still waiting on that phone call. Do yourself a favor this year and treat yourself better...avoid this place. read more

I needed to get my car inspection and couldn't since it has a large crack in the windshield from a stupid rock from a big stupid truck on the freeway. I didn't like that truck. GO TO THE NEXT GLASS SHOP! I visited on February 25 with a mirror frame to get a quote on replacing the glass. I was quoted $111.66 if I were to place the mirror inside the frame myself. I thought it was high, so she agreed to call me back to see if they could do better with pricing, then we would move forward. She asked that I leave the mirror there, and I agreed. On the seventh day without a call, I called and was told they could not honor the price (I had a written quote) and that they would charge me significantly higher fee. After explaining that is not the point of a quote, I would go ahead and purchase two mirrors if they honored the original price. They still refused. One of the worst experiences I've had with any company, ever. Actually...I should say multiple bad experiences in order to get one piece of glass replaced. I should mention, I used to do auto glass work as a side job, so I know what I'm talking about. I bought my truck with a crack in the windshield, which the dealer agreed to have replaced by a mobile glass company at my convenience. Unfortunately the mobile company they used was Apple Glass. First, they put an unusable winshield in - parts of it were literally as warped as a fun-house mirror. I actually got a headache driving home from work, after looking through the glass for nearly an hour. Of course I complained about the quality of the glass, and was told they wouldn't send another mobile installer out - I would have to make an appointment and have them inspect the windshield to see if it was really subpar quality. I made the appointment and showed up, which meant driving nearly an hour to get to their location, then waited for over an hour for them to finally update me. They said the glass was indeed bad, but they only had one other windshield in stock for my truck and it was just as bad. I then waited several more hours while they ordered, picked up, and installed a better piece of glass. By the time it was done, I had spent over 5 hours in a small, dirty waiting room. I didn't get any kind of updates about what was going on unless I asked - and when I did, the employees answered rudely. I was so glad to get out of there that I didn't take the time to inspect their work - huge mistake! I later realized the moulding wasnt properly attached on the top of the winshield. Over time it became looser and looser, to the point where it would flop around in the wind while driving. There are scratches across the roof of my truck from the loose moulding banging against it as it flops in the wind. My experience was so terrible that I wasn't even willing to go back and make them fix it. There was no way I would ever deal with them again. I was actually relieved when I recently got a rock chip in the windshield and needed to have it replaced by another company. It's finally fixed right - which Apple Glass couldnt manage to accomplish even after installing two different windshields! Don't come here under any circumstances. The tech was on hand so he started on my window chips right away. Make sure someone is there to fix your window before you drive over there. After reading some of the negative reviews I was skeptical but they came highly recommended by some family members and even a saleswoman that worked at my Infiniti dealership. My passenger rear window was busted out by some thugs which stole my boyfriends CPAP machine that was in a really nice case (haha...I bet they were expecting something they could pawn). My insurance company recommended Apple Glass to me after a smash-and-grab was committed against my poor innocent 4Runner. I have to say, the service provided was fantastic and I would definitely use them again. Not only was my window smashed, but my idiot friend decided it would be funny to keep messing with the button, thus causing the power-window mechanism to pop out from the space between the window and the door. Also, the window that was broken was on the rear passenger side; all the rear windows on my car have a slightly darker tint than the front windows. I was worried these two issues would cause problems during the repair, but knock on wood, so far it seems to be a job well done. I didn't even have to take any time off work, because the technician came right to my office and did the repair in the parking lot! All the other places I called charged way more than these guys, AND they wouldn't come do the repair for me which meant I would have had to take time off work. When I contacted Apple Glass on Monday morning, they told me the tech would arrive between 1 and 5 PM at my office. They called when he was on his way, and 15 minutes later (around 2:30 PM) he had arrived and begun working on the repair. He was done in less than 45 minutes. My window now works perfectly and there is no longer a sea of shattered glass rattling around in my backseat, because he vacuumed it all up. And all that for just under $200. All in all, I am a pretty happy camper and would definitely use these guys again (but still hope I never have to)! read more

Horrible service. Phone attendant is RUDE and I took a half day of work off to be here for the 1pm-5pm window. I called to reconfirm before leaving work at 12:30pm and they said, oh yes, we'll be there around 5ish. I just got a call at 4:58pm to reschedule. My car was broken into on a weekend - unfortunately Apple is not open on the weekends and I went somewhere else. Big mistake. This other place didn't vacuum out my car; they just left broken glass everywhere - even in the door. I could hear the glass every time I shut the door. I am not sure of their handy work. You have to sign a waiver if the glass breaks while they are drilling through the windshield to repair the chip. If you asked for the information over the phone, the gal their literally starts hissing and tell you to cancel your groupon. Needless to say, their level of customer service is poor. After having used Apple Glass successfully in the past, this was a very disappointing experience. It would have been helpful to have known before taking the day off to accommodate the three hour time window that they will not replace the windshield without the vehicle being in a driveway. After an 8 minute wait on hold I was told that as a customer there was no way I'd have know this because they do not tell you this when you schedule an appointment nor, to her knowledge or my re-reading, is it noted on the website. I took my car to Apple Glass after a smash and grab. The window was shattered and glass went everywhere. Apple Glass was quick and efficient. I made a 2:30 appointment, and I was gone and back at work by 3:40. They were able to get most all of the glass out of the side panel of the door. (and when I say most, there are still a few pieces I can hear when I shut the door, but no one, not even a dealership, could get all the pieces out, unless of course you want to replace the whole door.) They also vacuumed out the interior of my car. They have good prices and are competitive to other glass companies around, but are way cheaper than the dealership. I've used Apple glass in the past so I scheduled them to come to my home and replace some windows. I made an appointment for them to show up, but I had something come up so I had to cancel the day before, and the lady who I talked to on the phone didn't even have me on the schedule! So they wouldn't have ever showed up if I didn't call. I call back and they scheduled me from 1-5 and I told the office I would prefer if they could set mine as one of the last appointments, and the lady said that wouldn't be a problem. I called Apple Glass after looking for another quote besides the company you see on TV all the time (Safelite). They were very friendly on the phone and constantly apologized for having to continue putting me on hold to grab other calls. Apple Glass quoted me $236 to replace the windshield of my Chevy HHR and they could install it at my house the next day! Safelite want $338 and I would have to wait 10 days for them to get my windshield. Crazy!!! The guy was very friendly and he completed the work in under an hour. He gave me detailed instructions on what to do/not to do over the next four days and told me about the lifetime guarantee on the work. Not impressed with customer service at all. I needed a quote on a crack in a large window. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment for a agent to measure the glass. When the agent left, I was told someone would get a quote to me in a few days. Over a week went by and no one contacted me. I finally called them and spoke to a person who said she had been sick and busy but would get my quote soon. Another week went by and I received a high quote via email. No one bothered to follow up with me, ask if I had questions, try to schedule an appointment to fix the glass... nothing. Not impressed. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Let me start by saying that I needed my window repaired because my car was broken into. All of my belongings were stolen, including my credit and debit cards. They sent their technician to my house to repair the rear drivers window, however, the windows were mislabeled so he actually brought a passenger window. By the time he realized it he already had my door panel off. He told us that he would order a new one because they were mislabeled but it was coming from the dealership so it would be an extra $25. I wasn't sure why that was my responsibility to pay since it was Apple Glass's fault, but even including the $25 it was still cheaper than some of the quotes I was given, so I was willing to pay it although it should have been payed by them. So the technician leaves my house without putting my door panel on. This morning, CARLOS called me to inform me that it would be $25 extra dollars and take 5-7 days, I agreed to those terms. Then he told me that I needed a credit card to order the glass. I told him that my whole wallet was stolen and I don't have a card. I told him all I had was cash and asked if there was any way I could give him my police report and he could help me out at all. He told me no. So then I said well I'm going to have to take my business somewhere else. My mom took the phone from me to ask if there was any other way to go about doing this since they had already taken my door panel off, CARLOS got extremely rude with us and was telling us no. We told him that even though we shouldn't have been charged the $25 and we were being penalized we were still willing to work with them. Instead of offering customer service he than began to argue with us telling us that we weren't being penalized for anything. I don't know about you, but paying $25 for their mistake seems a little crazy right? CARLOS still chose to argue with us. After 3-4 minutes of pointless arguing, we told him we did not want to do business with them anymore and asked if they could come to my house to put my door panel back on since his technician left it laying in my garage. HE TOLD ME NO. We told him how rude he was and that it was their responsibility to put the door panel back on, still refused to do it. We asked if there was a manager or owner we could speak to, he told us no. After more unprofessional talk from CARLOS he told us that "he could have given us a better price but now he's not." and hung up on us. I called him back and he answered the phone and immediately told me that he didn't want my business. No hello, this is Carlos, nothing. Just picked up the phone ready to argue again. I said that was fine but I needed someone to put my door panel back on. He still refused and hung up. I called the other location to try and get them to send someone out but they told me I had to go through Carlos. So I called him back and he sent me straight to his voicemail. I called back again, and finally got to speak to someone and they told me he would send a technician sometime today. I feel like 30 minutes of arguing could have been completely avoided if he would have just said "yes I'll send someone" the very first time I asked but he would rather have argued. CARLOS is the manager, just adding that. So if the manager speaks to people that way, I can only imagine how polite the rest of the employees are. 100% would never recommend them to anyone. read more

After a break in I called for them to replace the door glass. Measured the door and charged me $25.00 for the pleasure. Told me it would be 1 or 2 days. After 3 days of having plywood on my business ( just asking for another break in) I have to call them and beg them to get out and replace the glass. I am completely unimpressed with Apple Glass. They started out well but things went downhill fast. They quoted my glass and I paid my deposit. They told me 5 business days. Not a problem. They call me within 3 days (this is great) to schedule the install for that day. Told me it would be between 1-5 but closer to 1. I leave work to take a long lunch for the installation. They call me at 2:30 to tell me there might be an issue with my window and the installer should be at their office in 30 minutes to look at it. I called them in 45 minutes because I still hadn't heard from them. They tell me all is well... he will be there before 5. Long story short... he called me at 5:20 to tell me he can't make it today. I was only taking a long lunch... not HALF A DAY off from work. When he did call me... NEVER APOLOGIZED other than to say sorry he didn't have the parts he needed to install the window. When I told him it was a disrespect of my time... HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! Unacceptable. I would think twice about using Apple Glass in the future. I know I will never use them again. read more

I have used Apple glass before and want a problem. Called this week to get passenger rear window replaced due to rock hit. Called spoke with melissa gave her the information needed and the next morning the installer was at the house. Alittle later than told. Carlos had checked the glass and it was the wrong one. Installer saw the truck and what was needed. Called the office and said he would be back out the next day. Next day again later than told installer arrived and found again he had the wrong glass. Sent glass for the wrong year model. I bit upset and told first thing in the morning they would be out for the third time. Once again the installer arrives a different one this time gets all set up and finds he has the drivers rear window. Call apple glass and speak with them and again I beleive melissa tells me I made the mistake on the first glass as I said a crew cab instead of double cab. I'll take that but then why two different glass on two different days and blame the boxes? Guess checking things has become difficult. I was told they would come back the next day with the right piece but really? Cant get things right there times not waiting for a fourth time. NO THANK YOU. The way melissa spoke with me and blamed me and then blamed the staff in back making them seem incompetent and unable to look and read the labeling on the glass. Then to blame the manufacturer! State they dont know how to label their merchandise. Got on line found affordable glass down the road and in an hour and a half had glass installed at HALF the price!!! I call Apple Glass and was informed that they had a windshield on site and to bring the car. Was told it would be ready in 1-2 hours. My daughter and I went shopping and returned after 2 hours and was told that the truck bringing the windshield did not deliver ours. Could not leave at that point because the had taken to broken one out. I was told to come back in an hour...returned and still no windshield. Had to leave in other car due to commitments I had for the day and they really screwed up my schedule. They called at 3 and said the car is ready and the reason for the delay is that the windshield that was delivered was broken. At this point I did not know which lie to believe.
