I visited the Apple Store at Market Street in Lynnfield to buy a very simple accessory, and the experience was far more chaotic than it needed to be. Lack of Organization Three examples that stood out: 1. There was no clear process for directing customers when they walked in. 2. Multiple people were standing around unsure of where to go or who to check in with. 3. Employees seemed scattered, with no one consistently keeping track of waiting customers. It took too long to simply identify where the item was and paying for the accessory felt like it required multiple steps and multiple people. Overall, I usually expect smooth and efficient service from an Apple Store, but this visit missed that standard. The store felt disorganized, and getting basic help took far more effort than it should. read more

This place is a total disorganized mess. Had an appointment for a simple battery replacement. Waited 30 minutes for someone to assist me. She took the phone and said it would be ready in 90 minutes? I waited for thirty minutes for a one minute conversation? I came back in two hours (added 30 mins to their promised time because I wasn't hopeful). Then had to wait for two different people to talk to me about picking up the phone. Ten minutes more and I was able to leave this prison of stupidity. This place needs a process engineer to come in and totally redesign their workflow. It's torture. read more

Wow can I just saw that is the best set of employees that I ever encountered. Gigi, Justin, Anderson, and Eddy all know their way around technology as well how to have a good time! The people are more than nice. My phone broke, and was quite dead. I took me now three visits and yes I bought a new phone. There is zero accountability for assisting a person. Beyond bad - I went in as the new interface on the iPhone is the pits - a simple fix - they had me wait a 1/2 hour (and no way was anyone going to get to me soon) finally a staffer comes over not to help but to let me know I had to wait longer - I told them my fix was simple but she had no clue it was possible to return interface settings to 'classic' - service is REALLY REALLY slow - apparently Apple isn't making enough money to provide enough qualified technicians to service within a reasonable time frame - it seems like the rest of the staff are wallpaper...so I left and will not be going back...Apple should do better than this. BUYER BEWARE! Unknowledgeable sales persons, OR desceptive sales practice. Sales woman informed me that the Belkin screen protector was unlimited replacement and that they would replace it. Today i went there and LISA informed me that Belkin will ONLY replace 2 times, for the "life of the phone". But first BELKIN has to send me one, if I fill out a claim. They process the claim in 3-5 business days, and mail it out afterwards. So I'm looking at around 2 weeks by the time i receive it. That's just not right. To top it off they woman who greeted me at the door was my original sales woman, directed me to the far corner of the store, where LISA takes a few minutes to look up from her phone before telling me that i have to be on the other side of the table we're at, mind you there's NO ONE ELSE@ these 3 tables around us. Appointment for Apple Watch service because there is no sound. I am there on time for a scheduled service call. then I have to wait for about a half hour. Friendly "genius" finally shows up and says my settings are wrong. She changes them . I ask: Can you verify that the sound works works now? No, there is no way to check and we are running behind so much. It will be fine. It wasn't. No alarm sound the next morning. I had to resort to online service where they offered to replace my Apple Watch. Eventually, I figured out that turning off my watch and then back on restored the sound. Nothing wrong with the watch except buggy software. Just like the old Microsoft days. Reboot fixes most issues. Genius didn't know/try. Online service didn't know/try either. Apple is the new Microsoft. read more

Never stepping into the Lynnfield apple store. I have been to the Burlington and Cambridge stores and the associate are very helpful and take good care of customers unlike this store. Not impressed with the customer service at this location. I purchased the IPhone 15 plus, I wanted to trade in my IPhone 12 Max Pro. There was a little damage on the back, I was told that I could have the phone fixed for $200 and then I would be offered $370. I had to make an appointment for this and had to come back to the store the following week, to have it fixed, well once I came back I was told it would cost $500 to fix. So this is this first time I did not receive anything for my previous phone, the supervisor informed me that if I wanted to I could return the 15 plus I could. I was shocked that they didn't care at all if they lost me as a faithful customer, I have had an IPhone since the 4 came out. I did request that Apple contact me to discuss my situation, this was over three weeks, to date no one has contacted me, I guess losing one customer to them isn't a big deal after all they do have millions of customers so trying to make one customer happy isn't at the top of their list. Next time I go to upgrade I will have to consider one of there competitors. read more

The staff is very helpful and pleasant. If you have Mobil it's issues, be aware their half of the block is closed due to construction directly across from the entrance . The store is on the corner amd I found it most convenient to be picked up on the cross street which is across from The Pottery Barn. read more

After spending a lot of time on a phone call at home, they scheduled an appointment at 6:10 here. I went all the way there and I waited 20 minutes. I asked the person at the door who was greeting people how long it would be. He said it would be a few minutes to wait for a technician. Then they took two walk -ins before me. Then the person from the front door helped me. So, I had an appointment and had to wait for walk-ins who came in after me to be helped and was waiting for the person at the front door helping people to actually help me who had an appointment! read more

My wife and I stopped by this Apple location before having lunch nearby. My wife had this problem with one of her Air Pods. The left one was not holding a charge. We scheduled a genius appointment that afternoon. The customer representative we met with was very helpful. She ran some diagnostics on the Air Pods and was able to fix the issue quickly. Both of us were glad the issue got fixed and we didn't have to spend any money. read more

5:30pm - I purchased an iPhone 14 by calling the store, verifying specs and provided my CCard information. She tells me my iPhone will be ready for pickup when I arrive. 5:32pm - I received my "We're processing your order xxxxxxx1234" confirmation email with receipt details for store pickup. I then drive to Apple Store. 5:52pm - I arrive at the Apple Store, am greeted by 2 blue shirts - the store has many more blue shirts than customers. I show them my Order confirmation. I then receive an Apple email indicating Action Required. I call the number provided and they ask me for an agent's extension (?). I ask the blue shirt what extension I should provide and he says "Option 6" - as if everyone is supposed to know this. I call the designated number again and explain that I'm just trying to pick up a new phone that was paid for and confirmed. She checks her system and she says everything is cleared and I just need to wait 10 minutes for the Store to release the order. 6:12pm - Another blue shirt comes by, confirms the order number / QR code and claims everything is all set. "It'll be out in a few minutes - please wait by the window." I left and came back at 6:30pm. 6:57pm - That's another 45 minutes later. I receive an email with Pickup information - "Your items will be ready for pickup." 7:00pm - A high school girl comes out of the back room with a little white bag containing my new iPhone, sheepishly asks me to confirm my email address for my receipt. I ask her to confirm that the phone comes with a cable. She affirms and scurries back to the back room - presumably to prep the next customer's confirmed order. Clearly, she's the only one in the whole Store doing any work and rightfully pissed off that all the "Geniuses" out front are just slumming around. Kudos to her. Apple's Order Processing system is a joke. I'll be sure to get into the sleazy Manager's face the next time I'm in the Store. I also want the contact info for person responsible for training order processing staff - could be the same moron. Apple offers no portal on their Website for comments about their customer service - good or bad. read more

The staff at this Apple Store are not capable of doing any repairs. We took an iPhone there to get the battery replaced. Three hours after drop off, we were told that the technician was not comfortable with replacing the battery because they could not open the phone. When we asked, where we would take it if Apple couldn't replace it, we were told to purchase a new phone. Then when we asked to speak to a manager, a man with a bierd, with mask half on, not covering his nose, said the technician informed him that the adhesive used in the iPhone was not an apple adhesive so could not repair. We proceeded to explain that the phone had never been repaired. The gentleman was rude in his approach and repeated that we would have to purchase a new phone. Save time and do not go to this store. We called Apple customer service and was sent to the Best Buy Danvers where we were able to drop off the phone and get the battery replaced in less than 2 hours. read more

I went to trade in my iphone, so I can use it to purchase a new product. I informed the rep that I do a lot of editing and i wanted final cut pro, where I don't pay a monthly subscription. Brought out the new ipad and he checked me out. Told me that he was going to help me set it up, but ended up helping someone else there, lol. I sat in the back of the store with a while with no help. He asked someone else to help me but he also ended up being too busy to help me, lol. This is very funny. He was helping his associate who was having a hard time with the apple watch. I got tired of waiting, so i asked him if FInal cut pro was included, he was lost and didn't know. He then said that i bought the wrong product and I need a Mac, so then we spent more time in the store and had to go through another refund. At this point, I'm already angry for being there so long. This Apple store is located in Lynnfield market place. The store is ultra modern as a most. It's situated on a great corner easy to find usually plenty of parking. The wait time here is usually an hour and a half to three hours so I would make an appointment online instead of walking in unless you have a lot of time to hang out. If you do decide to walk in this is a great shopping plaza there's a ton of stores all high-end all desirable so you'll have plenty to do and there's a bunch of restaurants so plenty to eat. The staff is usually very knowledgeable. Unfortunately every time I go in I have a huge price for any type of repair that I'm in need of. They have a lot of display units and are fully stocked. The reason for my three stars extra expensive repair prices and long long long wait periods. I went this afternoon and they told me minimum an hour and 45 minutes so I just made an appointment for Monday hopefully they'll take us on time I'll adjust my review Monday according to my new experience if the star rating changes. Just an FYI I do love my Apple products. read more

Imagine if the RMV was a store. That is the Apple Store experience. They make you put your name on a waiting list just to buy something, and then they make you wait a very long time. How long? I honestly don't know. I walked out after 20 minutes. Actually, the RMV gives you a numbered ticket, so you at least have a vague idea of how much longer you'll have to wait. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I did have to wait about ten minutes past my appt time and it then took about 30 minutes to talk to two different people before sending my laptop off for repair. But that didn't seem too bad and the workflow seemed to make sense. And then my fix was done after only four business days! Awesome! read more

Clearly this location has a deep issue based on the reviews. If you look at my reviews I love praising businesses more than anything but I had to address the lack of customer care at this Apple store. This might even be my first 1 star review. Inevitably, anyone having iPhone issues would think to go to an Apple Store for help with water damage, shattered screens, and/or data recovery. The Apple Store is not the place to go. After a condescending interaction with a girl named Erin, right away I knew this wasn't going to be helpful. It wasn't so much that she couldn't help, maybe Apple doesn't provide proper tools or resources to fix our products. That way we would buy new. I could deal with that. It was her tone, nonexistent interpersonal skills, and level of contempt I felt from bringing a water damaged iPhone. I admit my fault for not purchasing iCloud but I never had issues in the many years of owning an iPhone. This one unfortunate circumstance brought me here. At least show empathy rather than treat me like a nuisance whenever I asked very basic questions. There were photos of people I'll never see again and time spent with them I held dear to me. I don't show emotion and was pretty upset over those memories being wiped away. She showed zero perspective. It would seem obvious to show care for something like that. Instead I got short answers and a "too bad, nothing you could do" demeanor. I was in awe. Specifically she said, "You know how I know it's already damaged, look at your camera it's foggy". How am I suppose to know that?! Didn't even want help from her at that point. After essentially being shooed away I knew I was going to get my phone fixed either way. As it turns out, Erin, there is something you could have suggested, with EASE. There are many iPad/iPhone rehab stores around Boston. All over, really. I chose to send my phone to another state. Within a month ALL my photos and videos were recovered AND they replaced my battery. I was so grateful. It then baffled me how oblivious Erin acted, while there are honest and competent people showing the urgency to fix damaged products. Have some integrity. I wanted to give Erin grace, maybe she had a bad day, but it left such a bad taste. I had to leave a review, even over a month later. Corporate needs to evaluate, possibly investigate this Apple location. Never have seen such low reviews for a place that's in Lynnfield. Zero stars if I could. Store left me with a screaming 9 month old infant in my car for half an hour waiting for my curbside pickup. Online instructions don't say there are spots directly in front of the store so I parked very close by, described my car, put hazards on, and described exactly where I was. I had to do this 5 times while repeatedly trying to call the store not understanding why no one was bringing my order. Shame on all of you, when I wrote my situation about the infant very clearly each time more desperate. You had my phone number on the order. When I tried to ask the greeter when I could expect to have someone help me as my appointment had elapsed, he tried to pass it off as though the problem was not that they were late to help me, but it was my misunderstanding of how appointment times work. 0 out of 5 for him. By the time the associate finally did join me to assist me, I was furious at the store. He was calm, collected, professional, knowledgeable and took the time he needed to make sure I got what I needed. And fast. And he didn't hold my initial frustration out on me. I traded in my old phone for money. Apple gave me a gift card with what they owed me on it. When I tried to redeem the gift card online, iTunes said that the gift card had no balance...that it had been redeemed. I did not redeem the card...that's what I was trying to do!! I called Apple Support. They said that they could not remedy the issue. Apple did not pay me for my old phone. They gave me a faulty gift card and took my phone. Thanks, Apple. Great ethic. read more
