My daughter went into the Verizon store at the Lynnfield Market Place to buy a new phone. She's on…read moremy account but not an authorized user, which means she can't do anything without my PIN. This didn't stop the salesman who told her that he could change the PIN with her cell phone number. Not knowing any better she gave it to him and he changed my PIN. STRIKE ONE! He then proceeded to sell her an $800 phone. When it came time to sign the paperwork, he told her to forge my wife's name since she is the account holder. STRIKE TWO! I spoke with the store manager who was very sympathetic to the situation and apologized, but could not resolve the issue. After speaking with the Corporate Office for a week, I finally received a call from the district manager who told me that besides returning her old phone back to her (which they had for a week and already transferred all her data over to the new phone), all they could do for me was give me a discount on accessories. STRIKE THREE! Verizon needs to do a much better job training their sales staff and educate them on what's a sales tool and what's a criminal offense.

I brought it to Xfinity where I purchased the phone who is also my provider where I was told to go to Best Buy. Drove over to Best Buy to be told to come back the next day as I did not have an appointment. So I went to North Shore Shopping Center to MobiTech. The gentlemen told me he should be able to fix it and quoted me a very reasonable price and said that it would take 20 minutes or so and that if he could not resolve my issue he would not charge me. I left my phone with him after he assured me he could be trusted. (Let's face it, phones or not cheap these days!) I went back a bit early in case he needed extra codes etc. from me but the phone was all fixed back to its original layout and everything worked as if nothing happened! My experience was very pleasant and positive. I will go back here again in a second and highly recommend MobiTech to anyone needing help with their cell phones.
