    A broken promise

UPDATE:. So to add insult to injury, the phone just needed a SIM card reset. Such liars. Just trying to squeeze us for another $400. Apparently the iPhones aren't waterproof or water resistant per the IP68 rating the give them. Or Per Apple. Even if the LCI dosent indicate water damage. You will still be misled into believing you have voided the warranty. 6 meters for 30 min, nope. 54" for 5 seconds would be more accurate per our experience. More lies from a market that dosent see the color of your money being green enough and anticipates your return like a snake in the grass.

This is such a mixed bag experience. We have had to go to the Apple store before and recently. That place is a nut house. We drove there because we needed help with my hubbies Iphone that took a dump. Walk in- is basically a nightmare. We had a 4 hour wait. The good news was -the Tech Nick was FANTASTIC!!! He was kind, knowledgeable, funny, and most importantly HELPFUL! I would give him 5 Stars. Apple- you need more stores. You're a big rich company and need more help for your products that don't stand up to a standard and need repair or replacing. Remember you get customers with new products- but you KEEP them coming back with better service of products that we already own. We need more Apple Tech Genius access. Especially since Apple Care eventually says you have to go there or send things in by mail. We did that before too- sending it in and that was extremely time consuming, slow and disappointing. Which is why we drove to Mayfair to the Apple store. If it's that busy- there is a bigger need- please Apple!! The final note is we were helped and his phone replaced and that was appreciated. But took 61/2 hours with travel time and through no fault of our own. So thank you for the remedy, but know that your customers need more help at the Genius Bar!

I came to the store today to buy a IPhone14 plus. A Apple associate named Bianca refused to sign me in to the waiting list and asked me just to wait next to one of the table, so I did as what she told me. I waited there for about 25 minutes and saw a lot people came in after me got help and left. The store was empty and a few associates had no customers to help and I went back to Bianca and follow up with her, but she kept to tell me wait there and refused to sign me in. I was the only Chinese customer there and not sure if that was the reason. I went to ask for her business card and she told me she doesn't have one, so I left the store disappointed.

He even replaced some screws I had taken out because he was worried he lost them. Because of this, I increased the rating I gave to this place. Original Review: Aside from a part-time employee once or twice a week, the branch manager, Luke, is the only guy working at this location. I brought my laptop in last Tuesday (today is the following Monday) because it wasn't posting, and I paid $80* for the diagnostic procedure. I called on Thursday after having not heard anything, and he still hadn't worked on it, and it wasn't until I called this morning (six days later) that I finally got confirmation that he's running the tests. *While the diagnostics cost $80, Lucas informed me that half of that ($40) would go towards the cost of repairs if he is able to fix it. Now, because my computer isn't even posting, I know the test isn't as simple as it is for a computer that simply won't boot or is otherwise not working right, so I can understand that it may take a little longer. I also know that it's a first come first serve establishment and he likely had dozens of computers ahead of mine in line. However, he did not warn me that it would take this long to have my computer looked at, and in fact implied multiple times that the work would be done much sooner, including when I called on Thursday to which he said he would likely have it done that afternoon. I am a very understanding person, and I love supporting local businesses. Lucas seems like a nice guy who's just a little in over his head. I'm just losing patience right now because it's finals week in college, and I have had to do my studying on a chromebook loaned to me by the library. Very inconvenient and frustrating! As for the other services and the custom-built PCs sold there, I am not very knowledgeable. Lucas seems like he knows a lot about computers, so I would assume the builds he sells are very nice. Milwaukee PC also does video digitization, which I may do in the future because I have a lot of home videos on Mini-DV tapes (I know that's technically already a digital format but I don't have anything to convert them). I will probably just go to Best Buy if my computer breaks again though.

My laptop was reeeaaalllyy slow at start-up, opening apps, etc. I thought it was a RAM or…read moreprocessing speed issue, so I asked them what it would cost to add RAM, if it could be done. Lucas explained that the issue was actually an old hard drive (about 10 years old) and that replacing it would make my laptop run better than a new one. He walked me through some software I would lose, as well as how to reinstall it. The main one was my MS Office suite. He explained that I should be able to go to Office.com, log in, and download the software that I previously purchased and re-load it from the site. I trusted his expertise, took my laptop home, backed-up key files, removed files with personal information, and took the laptop back to get a new hard drive. He told me it would take about a week. A week later, they called me to pick up my laptop. They completed a back-up process, installed the new drive, and re-loaded Windows 10. The laptop starts up blazingly fast! I was also able to go to Office.com to re-load the MS Office suite that I purchased back in 2013! Compared to the cost of a new laptop, this was a no-brainer, and I'm thrilled with the results and service I received from Lucas and this Milwaukee PC location on Bluemound Rd.

After some time spent encountering the typical hit and miss one would expect in a field that so many companies seem to come and go daily, we were grateful to have found S2 Computer Support that had all the prerequisites we were hoping to find in one group. It meant a world of difference to us to learn that they could provide us with everything we had been looking for from one company, rather than having to contract with multiple different vendors. Ever since we contracted with S2 several years ago, we have not had the need to look elsewhere for any of our computer needs. S2 is locally owned and thus has always been readily available to be of assistance either by working at our facility, or in the case of a quick fix, logging into our system, which cannot be done without one of our staff members accepting an invitation initiated through their portal. I have never had even the slightest concern, nor have they ever given me a reason for concern, that confidentiality would be breached. I have always found working with them to be extraordinarily advantageous, and I believe their charges are reasonable and competitive. Over the years, they have helped guide us in our computer system's purchases, and I have been able to rely on them to help keep our system up to date. I commend them for their successful efforts to ensure our work is consistently saved and all of our data is backed. In addition, the staff of S2 has been steadfast in ensuring the protection of our equipment from viruses and those whose sole aim is to disrupt or damage the property of others. Overall, in this area, I have always remained comfortable in relying on them to prevent cyber-attacks on our systems, and I continue to be able to entrust them to resolve any difficulties that any business is bound to have on occasion. They continue to be beneficial in keeping our computers up to date, both in the Funeral Home that our family owns and directs, and my home office of which improves our efficiency by having readily available all prevalent information that may be needed 24/7. I continue to rely on them to initiate new programs that have proven to be beneficial in aiding our staff to be more resourceful, and when requested, they have provided training in implementing new programs. I am comfortable in saying that I have found, and I believe I can state that everyone that works for us agrees with me, that all of the S2 staff are honest, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and proficient. Perhaps most importantly, I can depend on them to keep us up to date in dealing with the countless changes that take place daily in the computer industry. In closing, I would like to voice my opinion in what is perhaps the most important face of all, that being, the people of S2, "truly know their stuff".
