I usually don't go to a business without reading a review first, but I was in the area and in a desperate need of a mani pedi. So I entered Cassidy's. Upon entering, the vibe was awkward. No music. Not even the TV had sound coming from it. I appreciated that the Jennifer Hudson show was on, but would've loved some captions, some sound, something. The only thing I could hear was the fans and the nail equipment at work. It was quiet enough for one of the technicians to be asleep with their head resting on the wall.. I tell them that I want a gel manicure with designs, a deluxe pedicure with color and I inquire how much would it be. I had gel on my nails and toes, so gel removal was extra. And design was extra. They were transparent that my total would be $109. This price didn't shock me but the service and final product did. While my nails were being prepped on my left hand, my nail on my ring finger started to hurt. I was watching tv, didn't think much of it. I look down, the right side wall of my nail is bleeding. He didn't acknowledge it to me verbally. Didn't treat it right away. Just carried on with the prep work and nail designs. I will say my design wasn't easy. I got it from Pinterest. So I appreciate that Tommy (that's what his cart said) communicated with me on how i want the lines, what color for each part, etc. It didn't come out looking good though. And to top it off, one of my toes started burning out of nowhere during the pedicure. I don't know if Nancy cut it too short or the equipment wasn't clean or what. I tried powering through it (I know, I shouldn't have to or even do so at all), but eventually I was like "hey, one of my toes burn". I pointed out the toe. She rinses it. And friendliness wise, they're nice enough. I know nail techs don't have to talk, but just the quiet vibe wasn't for me. If you made it this far, look at my reference picture versus the outcome. Keep in mind I chose hot pink for the french tip. I might go back to press on's.... Five hours later..My finger still hurts. And now my big toe hurts. They were too rough with the nail prep.

Was looking for somewhere reasonably priced to get my eyebrows waxed and tried this place on a whim since it's not that far from my home. I didn't have an appointment.Went in on a Friday, an hour and a half before closing time. Fortunately, I think most people come in for their nails to get done so I didn't have to wait. Jenny(? I think that was her name) did a fabulous job. She didn't ask how I wanted my eyebrows. They ended up perfect though, natural arch, on the thinner side(how I prefer them). A bonus: I didn't have to do a follow-up with tweezers at home afterwards like I have with other eyebrow waxes & eyebrow threading--which is a very big deal as I have SUPER light hairs under my eyebrows. Process was done very quickly. I think I was back home in less than 15 minutes after leaving home. Also, not sure what she used before & after but the redness I typically get went away faster than I've ever experienced. Best $8 I ever spent. read more

The management at this nail salon is unethical and driven purely by greed. Longtime, dedicated employees have been fired simply for asking for time off--something any decent workplace should allow. The family that runs this shop hoards the best-paying clients for themselves while overworking and underappreciating their staff. It's disturbing to witness how openly they gossip about customers right in front of them and show blatant disrespect not only to their employees but also to their clientele. The atmosphere is toxic, and many of the employees are clearly too afraid to speak up due to fear of retaliation. They deserve far better. I strongly urge anyone who values basic decency and fair treatment to condemn the management practices here and take your business elsewhere. read more

If you're looking for great work, nail art and a lot of selection on gel and polish colors this is the spot for you. Lilly is my girl and always does incredible work. She is super attentive and I'm honesty extremely picky but she accommodates me well. She also did my EYELASH extensions as well.
