This is the third vehicle I've purchased from Apple Sport Imports, and once again, the experience was outstanding. Back in 2010, I wrote, "To be honest, I would rather have a tooth pulled than deal with a used car salesman." Well, at Apple, there is no tooth pulling! There's no high-pressure sales approach here. Every vehicle on their lot is high-end, clean, and mechanically sound. They offer fair trade-in values, include a free drivetrain warranty, and provide a very reasonably priced extended warranty plan. Best of all, they don't tack on any of those unnecessary add-ons you often see at other dealerships. On this most recent visit, I worked with Corey (sales) and Mike (sales manager), and it was by far the easiest car-buying experience I've ever had. I received a very fair offer for my trade-in and even secured a loan rate better than what my credit union offered, which surprised me. Bailey (finance) made the paperwork process smooth and stress-free, and she offered an extended warranty at a price I felt was more than fair. Typically I've always taken my car to BMW for services the few years I've had it. A friend of mine who has the same car, a 2019 BMW 330i started bringing hers here to Apple Imports about 2 years ago. She's always paid a fraction of the cost I pay for services at BMW, and yet she's never had any problems with her car. After taking my car two BMW for a new battery and they recommended 2 services that was roughly $3700 and also told me that although due to changing the battery I needed to get it programmed and that it would cost an additional $550. And advised me that I can pay it and they could do it but it could cause a bigger problem that would cost me $3500 if so. I told them just change the battery and took it straight to Apple Imports. I don't want to butcher the service guy name it's Aaron or Erin. But he's a genius! He knew exactly who I was every time i called, kept me updated on everything that they did, and even figured out the programming that BMW apparently screwed up! And didn't charge me anything additional! His genuine care to get my car fixed was amazing to me! I highly recommend this place to anyone. I haven't had any interaction with anyone else other than Aaron/Erin, but I can say he's awesome! And his customer service is phenomenal! You really don't get good customer service all the time in the car service industry. read more

Easy to make an appointment. But my car wasn't due for an oil change yet. They shouldn't have done it and told me to come back. Instead told me my sensor would alert me in however many miles and to ignore it. That's fine. But I just had my car professionally detailed and they had grime all over their hands that got on my front window inside and out. Really annoying that they don't have attention to cleanliness. I don't normally write reviews because I believe anyone can have a bad day. However, I took my Audi Q5 in for service and spent $4K to fix it. They promised it in let's say a week that turned into two. Got it back and on the way to get it inspected they check engine light came back on. I was told they must didn't drive it enough (what???). I took it back to them and they kept it another two weeks telling me something else further was wrong. Mind you they gave it to me supposedly fixed. I was told Audi needed to look into the issue I was having. Hear me when I tell you I'm pretty laid back even though I was totally frustrated. After speaking to them them, since they couldn't totally diagnose the issue and Audi couldn't get to me for two months (another story, for another day). It was suggested maybe you should trade in you vehicle with us, I thought maybe as I was thinking my Audi was done. Cocky sales guy I'm talking to says we can give you $2K for it. WAIT??? I paid $4K in service that your team still didn't fix. I told him I'd call him back, which I knew wasn't happening. Buyer or service needed...you heard it hear. Take a hard pass. Karma is a you know what. Oh...another dealership offered me $8K for my vehicle as a trade in. read more

I purchased my car from Apple Sport four years ago. Not only is their sales department great, but their service department is excellent! I had taken my car to Pep Boys for the tires and they broke my lug nut lock key, but I wasn't aware until Apple Sport Imports went to remove my tires for a repair. ASI was able to correct the issue for me and do other repairs that needed to be done in a timely manner. I have since gone for other service and will only take my car to Apple here moving forward. They are extremely helpful and trustworthy! I highly recommend Apple Sport's service department. read more

They were very friendly people and it was a very quick in and out which I liked. It was very weird though that I had to buy my own Uber to get to the dealership (this was going to be a 2nd vehicle so I didn't want to leave my 1st there) I have bought many different vehicles and this was the very first dealership that did not offer to have you leave with a full tank of gas. I was visiting Texas for a convention in San Antonio and since I had a free day I visited uncle and aunt in Austin. They have a 2002 Honda Civic that they deem unreliable due to its age. Over the weekend of October 20, I communicated with Apple Sport Imports internet team and expressed interest in a particular vehicle. Availability was confirmed and I arranged for a visit to the dealership on Monday, October 22. On Monday morning I once again communicated with my contact and subsequently arrived at the dealership about noon. I was of the impression everything was in order. I was greeted by a sales rep who was expecting me. He arranged for a test drive after which I decided to purchase the vehicle and enter into price negotiations because ASI's asking price was higher than published NADA and Kelley Blue Book dealer retail pricing. It was then that I was told that the car was committed to another customer. Again, this was after I was told the car was available, after a 45 mile one-way drive to the dealership, and after the test drive. This is not good customer service and I certainly will not visit this dealership again. read more

Are you kidding me. I went there Dec 2 and spoke with a young salesman by the name of Joe. He really pulled some high pressure stuff. When I decided on a car I told him I was coming up and car was not on the lot. Trying to exit there was a small decline in pavement and I fell. Broke ribs instantly. Someone called the ambulance and off to hospital I went. I txted Joe and no answer. After 8 ignored calls i called the management. Again. Incredibly disappointed. Poor customer service and communication across departments. I drove 40 minutes from south austin to purchase a car that was "on hold" for me. The manager sold it while I was on my way. Apparently they have a sales team that fields all sales which is separate from the actual location. Their communication error took almost two hours out of my day, making for an unacceptable customer experience. It's been two weeks and they're still calling, texting and emailing me. Bought a used BMW with 30k mileage from these guys. Nice guys, but after lightly driving vehicle for about a month, the brake pads were worn down on front axle. Would have been nice if they replaced the wearable parts before putting up for sale! What buyer wants to replace parts immediately after buying a car. Sales guy never even bothered to call me back! Todd was my salesman and did an outstanding job of prepping the vehicle and ensuring I was able to hit road quickly after purchase (I had a 200 mile drive to make). The vehicle is a 2017 Chevy Bolt EV and Todd did an excellent job of staying in communication with me prior to me making the long drive (to ensure the vehicle was still there). He also topped off the charge to ensure I made my return trip (which was on the outer limits of the EV's range). I made it home with 17 miles to spare! All went well with this very smooth purchase. I just want to start by saying I think the Magda story below is all wet... I've had no issues whatsoever with the sales department... I purchased two cars within a year simply to upgrade. The process was seamless and painless. Your credit score is your credit score your finances are your own baloney. That's on you not them. As far as the service department they are stellar... Amy especially. They have bent over backwards to make sure that everything is done in a timely fashion. If you don't have a Rent-A-Car they let you know, "if you call ahead of time ". Anyone who shows up in the waiting room to put pressure for someone to cough up a Rent-A-Car is pretty narcissistic. Some people just like to complain and moan and groan and it's all about them. Apple sport import is very professional and the service department is unprecedented in customer service. I'm from Detroit and I know a ton about cars and they are on the up and up. I'm also a private business owner and understand how customer service works. If I could I would give Amy in service 10 stars for being one of the most outstanding customer service professionals I have ever known in my 26 years of private business ownership. I purchased my vehicle from ASI four months ago in July. My partner and I are recent graduate school grads so needless to say, we didn't roll up in a luxury vehicle and were dressed like recent grads. However, Josh Millar came out and greeted us anyways. We went into his office and he gave us the run down on ASI. He showed us cars online and through conversation, we narrowed it down to a couple of BMWs. Instead of having us walk across the lot to look at the cars, Josh offered us water and he ran out to get the car and bring it to the front. Awesome! He definitely went above and beyond by not making his customers walk in 90+ degree Texas weather. We probably test drove three or four vehicles and looked at a few others. Josh was very patient. At no point ever did he seem irritated by our questions, cheesy jokes, inquiries of every car we walked by, etc. He even let us test drive an Acura that we were on the fence about before we even sat in the car for the test drive. We decided on a black 328d and Josh threw in a free window tint and an extra key! Once we got to the finance department, the service seemed to deteriorate. Mike didn't seem to care about providing effective customer service. I emailed him twice regarding finances and even emailed Sam because I wasn't getting a response. This was by far the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I had researched cars and went in to test drive a convertible and ended up buying a sedan after listening to my salesman John Bernhardt breakdown of each car. He was super knowledgeable about the differences between the different models - both from options and the expected driving experience and was so patient with me as I looked at no less than 3 cars in 2 different models (after the convertible). SELLERS BEWARE: Contacted Apple Sport Imports in July of 2016, hoping to sell my BMW M4. Was routed to the General Sales Manager, Mike Quintanilla. Brought car in, Mike looked at it, drove it briefly and made me an offer on a card, listing the price, current date, mileage and make/model. The offer was "good for 7 days or 300 miles". After deliberating for a few days, I called Mike back and was told that he can't actually make offers and that his owner wasn't comfortable with the offered price. Ami was so cool and let me test drive several luxury SUVs of different makes in a single afternoon. All the cars seem to be about 2 years old so somebody else paid the worst of the depreciation. My last experience buying a vehicle from a dealership (rather than private sale) was extremely unpleasant. The thing is, I didn't even really appreciate how bad it was until I had a great experience at Apple SI for comparison. These guys are extremely professional and helpful. I saw a vehicle online I was interested in and called to schedule a test drive. Buying a car is a big investment and I had a lot of questions and trepidation and was a little gun-shy after my last experience. I was lucky enough to be referred to Chris Randells, who worked his a** off for me. Financing was a breeze and when I came in to do the deal (after a month of looking and hemming and hawing) the paperwork was ready and it took about 10 minutes. Chris even followed me to my house because, well - I don't have any friends who can drive a stick shift (my old car) and I had no other way to get it home.
