RUN!! We bought a CPO 2021 Jeep from these guys and have had nothing but problems since meeting the finance department, despite being a cash customer. Read the negative reviews, they're endless. Finance attempted to push over a half dozen warranties and add ons while we were in the office without any approval from us at all. We had a check for the precise amount negotiated before we arrived, and Dennise threw everything out of whack. Then she became combative when asked to remove the things we didn't ask for, and she constantly intejected that "you get nothing, nothing is covered", despite having the CPO coverage which includes 3 months/3,000 miles of max care. We tried to bail on the deal since she insisted they wouldn't honor their warranty or the CPO, and she refused to hand our check back. We had to call in the sales person and sales manager to get her to stop lying. Even after finally closing the deal and confirming that it was a CPO vehicle and will be covered, she decided to be petty, ignore us, and didn't provide us with a copy of any of the paperwork, CPO coverage, or anything. Dennise Camacho is an absolute nightmare to work with. Several items were missed or completely ignored in the CPO inspection, the front night vision camera is broken, the passenger seat is torn, and the drivers side interior lights flicker on and off. We were assured that things would be taken care of, clearly this was a lie. A non-functioning system with constant alerts on the dash would never pass CPO anywhere else I've shopped, that's fraud. They dropped it off in our driveway anyway. I called the day it was delivered and let them know that the defects were not addressed during the CPO inspection and I would be bringing it back. They told me to bring it back in Monday. I arrived Monday and spoke with sales and service. Sales apparently decided to shove us off on service, as it was a shock to them that the vehicle was delivered at all, and they were unaware that we would be arriving. Service refuses to cover the repairs until they speak with sales to try and get them to cover the damage. Service even claimed the night vision camera wasn't factory - it's on the window sticker, build sheet, and intergrated with the factory software! We created a ticket and documented the broken camera, torn seat, and malfunctioning lights. I was told to take the car back home and that they would schedule an appointment for me to drop the car off for repairs. To date I have not received a call back from the service department with an update, or to schedule an appointment. This is a CPO vehicle with 3 active warranties folks, they don't care. You will never get service, and you can bet that anything you buy from them will still be broken, despite any lip service they give you in the sales room. Take your hard earned cash elsewhere. You don't need the stress.

See all that oil on my driveway? It's gushing from this used XT5 that Covert just sold my wife.
    Bruce B.

I flat-out told my wife not to go back to Covert to buy another used Cadillac. Go ANYWHERE other than a Covert dealership, I said. I offered to drive her to San Antonio, Houston, or Dallas to get another car - anywhere in the state that is not owned by a Covert. Did she listen to me? No, she did not. Instead, she went to this Covert dealership on her own where a sales shark named Ryan swindled her into purchasing a leaky 2017 XT5 with an engine light that can't stay off. Yes, yet another lemon in a string of problematic used Cadillacs that Covert has sold to my wife throughout the years. A couple of days after she made this purchase, I noticed huge oil puddles on our driveway. Then I looked under the XT5's hood - the first thing I noticed was oil everywhere inside the engine compartment. My wife drove it back into the dealership the following Monday, where she informed Ryan that there was a major problem with the XT5 leaking oil. However, Ryan did absolutely zilch as far as an attempt to address the issue. When I checked the oil level that night, it was dry. All the oil had leaked out of the XT5 in just over a week. I dropped off the XT5 with my mechanic the following day where it was discovered that oil was leaking from the crankshaft seal. Though that was repaired, the following week I noticed more fresh oil in our driveway, so I took it back in where the mechanic discovered the valve cover gasket was also leaking. Furthermore, my mechanic stated that it was evident that the existing valve cover gasket was torn and that RTV was applied as a temporary solution to stop the oil from leaking. In other words, some shady repairs took place before this XT5 was sold to my wife. I can only assume that either Covert is paying absolutely no mind to the condition of the used cars they are selling, or patchwork maintenance is performed beforehand at Covert to sell them half-broken, and I would be willing to bet it's the latter. A week after spending a total of $1200 to get the oil to stop leaking, the engine light came on and has pretty much been on ever since. Since they refused to take my phone calls or ring me back after I left messages, I emailed General Sales Manager Rene as well as General Manager Bart multiple times, asking if they would like to address the situation after it became evident that someone essentially applied a Band-Aid to the XT5 to temporarily stop the oil from leaking in order to quickly sell the car. They chose not to reply to anything, nor did anyone ever reach out to my wife. After all, she bought the car as-is, with no warranty whatsoever. Why would Covert give a fuck? They don't. I know from first-hand experience that Covert is willing to dive deep into unscrupulous depths so long as they think it might make them a buck. I will spare you the details of our history of doing business with Covert, but there has been a problem... Every. Single. Time. But after the Covert Ford Lincoln dealership down the road had lured me in with a failed "bait & switch" attempt back in April of 2019, I vowed I would never, ever do business with any Covert dealership again, no matter what. I said it then in that review and I will say it again now: I'm more than convinced that Covert used car dealerships are chock-full of villains willing to say and do just about anything to deceive customers so long as they get a sell.

Sales manager Derrick, great - 5 stars. Sales consultant DeShawn, great - 5 stars. Dennise Camacho in Finance, dismal at best - 0 stars. I was ready to walk away from the deal entirely and go to another dealership after being forced to deal with that abomination of a finance representative. My husband spent an hour and a half at the dealership earlier in the day and confirmed all options we wanted and didn't want included, and asked for the out the door final price as we would be paying in full. We get the printout, manager signed off on it, I go to the bank and get the cashier's check for the stated amount, our family goes to the dealership together 4 hours later with check in hand, everything is on track until we go to Dennise's office. She claims no one told her we were paying in full so the amount is now higher and we have to pay the difference - we know for a fact this was wrong as our printout states cash for the full amount, and the sales manager confirmed it before sending us to finance for the paperwork. Then she REPEATEDLY said we had nothing covered on the vehicle unless we agreed to buy an additional warranty from her, we stated that we had already confirmed that the vehicle was a certified pre-owned and would have CPO coverage, and she went on a rant about how that doesn't actually cover the vehicle and would not give any protection if anything were to happen and we had to buy the upsell she was pushing. Again, we reiterated that we did not want to buy anything additional from what we had already discussed earlier in the day, and we wanted only what was on our pre agreed upon sales sheet. She went on to try and additional services, citing the monthly payment amounts, we again told her we were not buying those, and had to ask her multiple times to remove them. At this point, we have been told over 25 times explicitly that we will have zero coverage on the car, nothing is covered. We bring up the CPO extended warranty that is included and she states that will not cover anything on the car. We asked about the warranty coverage documents so we could review them, and not only did she say she doesn't have any - but went on to trash Covert and say it's the only dealership she's ever been at that doesn't have anything in writing and you just have "take her word for it". She couldn't/wouldn't match the buyers agreement to the sheet we had been printed hours earlier, and nothing stated it was a certified pre-owned, we inquired about this discrepancy and she stated we will have zero coverage unless we purchase her warranty. At this point, we have spent another hour at the dealership to "wrap up" the deal, we have an overtired and fussy infant with us, and we're getting fed a completely different story with no answers other than "you need to pay more". We weren't getting anywhere with her and said we would not sign documents that we did not agree upon and did not cover us as stated previously, we asked for our check back, and she got red in the face and huffy stating that it's our fault we're not buying the warranty. It escalated to the point where we had to ask THREE times for her to call the sales manager we had spoken with to confirm the details, and when she finally did (after we requested our check back) she not only tried to talk over us, but magically her story was a complete 180 from what had just occurred. We were luckily able to confirm the information with Derrick and get the confirmation needed (surprise, they DO in fact have warranty documents, she was throwing the dealer under the bus just to push an upsell on us). Of course when it came time to print our copy of the paperwork, or even a receipt, she failed to produce anything - wouldn't even email a digital copy for review. Fast food restaurants give a receipt with purchase (and comp your meal if they fail to produce one), but when you hand over $46K, you just have to "trust" and "take their word" even though they were already proven to be lying to our faces. As a finance professional with over 10 years experience myself, this was a completely unethical sales practice and was riddled with red flags. If she were my hire, she would immediately be put on an strict action plan and given remedial training, or terminated immediately for performance issues. She is a lawsuit waiting to happen, completely predatory in nature. I would not return to this dealership for another purchase if Dennise was in fact trained to their standards. Overcharged us, was aggressive towards us and dismissive to our concerns, failed to complete documents correctly and had zero customer service skills. She was not a professional in any aspect, and her lack of hygiene and awareness was an added ick factor. We're in RSV season, and not only did she place her used bottle of water within a foot of my 10 month old, her desk (the touch screen for documents) was covered with hand prints and who knows what else. Very unsanitary and uncomfortable all around.

My new baby! And look at the bow Chuck had for me!!

Guy said he'd install it since they offer the service for free. Before the new battery the battery was dying on us and was supposed to be replaced long ago. The new one would not start unless he jumped it. Tried to start it again with just the battery, still wouldn't start. We went back in to receive a core refund for our old one. Went back out and we got a jump to go home. Mid backing up the car completely turned off on us. Came back out and gave us a jump. Hooked up the machine and told us we'd need a new alternator. He tried to sell us one inside but I told him our mechanic replaced the part not even 6 months ago and it was under warranty. He asked if I trusted my mechanic and I said yes. We left. He told us we'd have to drive back through small streets with our headlights off since the lights drain the battery so much. We drove it home and it was already dark. Had my mechanic come out and he said someone tampered with the alternator and he showed me, it looked like it had been smashed in and some pieces had been broken off. You could also see greasy fingerprints all around it. He then showed me that the battery was not even properly connected. Said he wouldn't be surprised if the battery gave out a few months later from being put in improperly and driving it that way. He fixed the battery connection and replaced the alternator that was still under warranty for no charge. Never trusting another O'Reillys again. Shady people.

I sent my message of what I was looking for and I got a very quick response via text and call. I couldn't talk at the time so I texted back and forth I was given a fair price which included shipping and no core needed. I placed the order and waited. Then something in me said check the reviews. Some not so good reviews made me extremely nervous. I texted I called and was asked to just have patience and give them a chance to make me happy. I will say that it shipped out fine and with tracking it arrived within the estimated timeframe. I had it shipped directly to the mechanic and he said he had a hard time determining which parts on the assembly to use and which of mine to use. The part came directly off of a used jeep so it was clearly dirty and used, but that's what you're paying for. All in all I'd say the part was beyond satisfactory. The timeframe also. The customer service up to delivery was on par as I was the one worried. They did what I paid them to do and it all worked out.

SCAM and Counterfeit…read more This business uses a warranty process that functions as a trap. Quality Auto sells high-risk aftermarket transmissions to financially vulnerable consumers, then uses labor-cost barriers to prevent warranty enforcement. Their standard response is that they will not pay labor costs and will not process a refund or replacement unless the transmission is removed, which they also will not pay for. This makes the warranty inaccessible by design. ALSO The company advertises complete used transmission assemblies with warranty coverage. In my case, the transmission delivered was missing a required vacuum system component. It was incomplete at the time of shipment. A materially incomplete transmission assembly presented as a complete, install-ready unit is not what was ordered. It functioned as a counterfeit representation of the product sold. This is not simply "lower quality." It is a materially different product than advertised. Our family vehicle's transmission failed on Christmas Eve (Dec 24). Because we could not afford a $5k-$7k new transmission or a replacement vehicle, we purchased a 62TE transmission from Quality Auto on Dec 29. The part arrived on Jan 7 and was installed by AAMCO Transmissions by Jan 22. Problems were apparent immediately. At Quality Auto's direction, I provided video evidence and took the vehicle to AAMCO Transmissions on Jan 31 for an independent evaluation. AAMCO is a third-party transmission specialist and their inspection confirmed internal transmission failure. All documentation was provided within the warranty period. What followed was a delay pattern: Repeated assurances they were "there for me" No inspection history or response documentation provided No material action taken Their position never changed: They will not pay labor to access the warranty They will not process a refund or replacement unless the part is removed, at the customer's expense This creates an unavoidable situation: The consumer cannot afford removal The business refuses to acknowledge failure The warranty becomes practically unreachable This is not an isolated incident it is a business practice. These are not restorers rebuilding specialty vehicles. These are moms and dads with family vehicles -- minivans used to get kids to school and families to church. A warranty that requires thousands of dollars in labor just to prove a defect is not a real warranty. It is a financial barrier designed to prevent claims and prey on families. A review of BBB complaints shows a repeated pattern: * Customers receive incorrect transmissions. * Customers receive incompatible units. * Customers receive incomplete assemblies. * Customers are told to swap tail housings or modify parts after delivery. * Multiple incorrect units are shipped to the same customer. * Customers incur repeated labor and delivery costs. In documented cases, customers were sent multiple wrong transmissions and told they only needed to change a tail section. Each attempt required removal and reinstallation labor. The business absorbs none of that cost. When errors occur, the only remedy offered is return of the part after removal at the customer's expense. Labor is never covered -- even when the seller shipped the wrong or incomplete product. This creates the structure of the SCAM: Sell a major drivetrain component priced near installation cost. Advertise it as a complete, functional assembly. Deliver an incomplete or incompatible unit. Customer pays to install it. Customer discovers defect or mismatch. Customer must pay again to remove it. Replacement or refund only issued after return. Consumer absorbs all labor losses resulting from seller error. Because transmission removal is expensive, many consumers cannot afford to exercise the warranty. The warranty exists on paper, but access requires absorbing significant additional loss. In addition, claim handling reflects consistent delay tactics: * Requests for documentation already provided. * Staggered or slow responses while costs escalate. * Public BBB responses that appear cooperative but avoid addressing misrepresentation. * Refusal to offer shared-cost or negotiated solutions. The issue is not simply whether the business responds. The issue is that the product delivered does not match the advertised value, and the corrective process requires the consumer to pay for the seller's mistakes. This pattern disproportionately impacts vulnerable vehicle owners -- including elderly individuals, single parents, and families relying on high-mileage vehicles -- who are seeking affordable repair solutions and cannot afford to pay removal labor twice. Supporting documentation is available here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OFsnFkX7PE-VBJZS-W_VgXtNfs6wnr6R This appears to be a repeated operational practice involving materially different product delivery combined with a warranty structure that shifts all financial burden to the consumer.
