Great place to grab a full country breakfast. Waitress was quick and efficient. My coffee mug was refreshed every 5 minutes with minimal interruption to my meal. Ambiance is a country diner. We ordered two of the apple tree breakfast that include bacon and sausage, two eggs and biscuits and gravy. I ordered rye toast to go with it, but they brought white toast. Our food came out approximately six minutes after ordering it. The eggs were over hard, not easy. The bacon and sausage were both cold. The sausage gravy was good with the biscuit tasted like a premade biscuit that was microwaved rather than baked. It was obvious that the food was not prepared to order. I'm sure with Sunday morning crowd they were cooking and stacking and serving from the pre-cooked with regard to hashbrowns, bacon, sausage and of course the biscuits and gravy. I did not expect that my eggs would be over hard but I think they had those on the grill before I even place the order. As I said, it was a high volume time so they probably did that to be able to have quicker service times. Service was adequate but the server did not understand what I was saying as she probably did not have a great grasp of the English language. The restaurant was pretty crowded and it was awkward to see a table with a child crawling on the table top. The real shock came when I got the bill. They don't present the bill with a total on it at the table. You have to go stand in line where the owner or manager runs the cash register, and they total it up at that point. I was shocked that our breakfast with tax was $37.50. For two people for less than mediocre breakfast and less than optimal environment and less than great service, I feel that I did not get the value I was looking for. When I mentioned to the owner that that seemed a little high, he looked at me and said it is correct and then he showed me his math. I wasn't questioning his math or the ability to punch numbers into the register. I just thought the price was way over the top. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I don't recommend anybody go there unless you're looking for mediocre food, below average service, low quality, no hospitality, and very poor value. read more

Everything is delicious. I remember seeing this place years ago but never went. Then I finally tried it and I was surprised how good it actually was. I have been in several times since and it's always an enjoyable atmosphere and the staff is friendly. Not to mention the prices are more than reasonable. I would highly suggest giving it a try. As long as you stick to the breakfast you cant go wrong here. My grandmother and I eat here at least once every two weeks together. I normally bring my girlfriend or some other member of my family as well. The skillets are awesome and worth coming back for alone. The wait staff is always friendly and they tend toremember who you are after a short amount of time. It is always busy, but that has never seemed to matter as I've always been served rather quickly. The owner is almost always onsite and makes sure that everything is up to his standards. Would I go back? Oh God, yes. Any excuse to get the country skillet! read more

This is a decent American cafe establishment serving a variety of foods. I tried the gyro which was fairly flavorful. The fries come seasoned which have a nice crisp crunch to them. The staff was pleasant and I'd say fairly attentive. They work together not just their own sections which ends up proving extra service. I like that. My wife chose the patty melt and said the bread had good flavor, as far as the meat if a frozen patty, not bad. But if fresh meat, not so good. But overall she enjoyed it. Breakfast at the Apple is a (nearly) every weekend affair! The skillets are the best, especially the country skillet. The portions are large & However many eggs you order, you always get one more than that! lol The Country omelet is also delicious. The staff is friendly and the service quick, even when they're extremely busy, which is usually the case on Sunday mornings. The girls even remember that I like cinnamon in my coffee.
