I highly recommend calling Dan Corcoran at Apple Tree Honda for your next Honda purchase. He was extremely helpful in all aspects of the purchase and trade-in process, and found me the exact Honda Pilot that I was looking for. The service department at Apple Tree is always on the ball, and I've appreciated their free loaner vehicles. Thorough communication, prompt handling of any issues, and a no-pressure vibe... those are the things that will have me coming back to Apple Tree Honda again and again.

The miscommunication was resolved and everything got back on track.*** I really wanted to love Hunter Subaru, I really did. I think it's important to "buy local" and so I did. The sales staff was easy to deal with - no problem there - but the service AFTER the sale leaves a lot to be desired. I bought a used Subaru with some bumper damage. As part of the sale, I was promised a new bumper. That was over 3 week ago. I have made 3 phone calls since then and showed up for an appointment only to find out the part was never ordered. Does the "Hunter Hometown Promise" only apply to new cars? It's incredibly disappointing to see a locally owned company treat their customers like this.

Took the car home overnight and to my auto mechanic to check it out the next day. He put it on the lift. It was extremely rusted out underneath. Never saw so much rust. Would've been a nightmare if anything needed to be replaced or repaired under there. I took it back. Told the saleswoman. Someone knew this about the car because if they changed the oil and did their inspection like they said they did they would've seen the extent of the rust. Saleswoman wanted to show me another car. (She was very personable.) But now I don't trust them. And it looks like that car is still on the lot. Buyer beware and if you are looking at a used car there be SURE to have your mechanic check it out before you buy it. The warranty was 1,000 miles or 30 days, powertrain only, so I would've been up s***s creek and out all the money I have to buy a car.

About 2 hours later I was in the service department at Hunter Volvo. Kevin Bradish (Service Manager) took my car to the repair bay promptly. Ray Vaughn (Shop Manager) found a bad cell and replaced the battery. I was in and out in just 30 minutes. Both Ray and Kevin were polite, professional and extremely helpful. I purchased the car from Kevin Brazanskas two (2) years ago and have been very satisfied with all aspects of Hunter Volvo. My only suggestion is to provide hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts to all waiting customers!! lol Thanks for taking great care of me and my XC70!

It was in great condition clean carfax, regular service, no accidents and I had a year left on my waranty but went over the milage. So far, in a year, I've spent more than 6k on services ranging from a complete reboot of the sensor system (the vehicle literally slammed on the breaks several times creating a major safety hazzard), also the engine cooling system needed to be replaced, the sunroof and heating/ac all had to be replaced. On my last repair, I dropped the car off on Friday and found out it would take nearly a week for backordered parts (with a 3k service bill). I asked for a loaner vehicle, but unfortunately they didn't have availability. I even considered trading it in for another model but there wasn't anyone there that was interested in helping me. I waited for 3 hours for nobody to give me any answers. I got tired of bugging the staff every half an hour to remind them I was still there waiting. I ended up catching an uber to the nearest car rental location that set me back an additional $400 so i could have transportation over the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm so disappointed. Its supposed to be luxury car and I feel like I'd have better service at a Kia dealership. I will never buy another Volvo, and as soon as the car is repaired I'm trading it in for a functional vehicle. Its sad, because I wanted to love this beautiful car and had heard so many good things in the past about the Volvo brand. *update On a positive note, the young lady in sales, Sparrow, tried to make things better, reached out directly and apologized for any role she played in my bad encounter. That did help, but overall, still an epically bad experience with the company. Not sure if it's Volvo or Hunter, but I'd never buy another cat there nor have it serviced there. Infact, I'm taking it to a 3rd party to see if they even did the service that they charged me for. I've lost all trust in this company.

We finalized the paperwork and traded in our vehicle, but left the new car with them so they could detail it and do a final look-over. Instead, they discovered major mechanical issues that would "cost them too much money to fix," essentially rendering the deal dead. To make matters worse, we left the dealership with absolutely no paperwork the first time around because, "quote unquote," they were putting it in the car--a car we never even got to take home. The communication following this was non-existent. The General Manager didn't even have the decency to call us to explain why they couldn't deliver the car we just bought. We had to repeatedly blow up their phones and drive up to the dealership multiple times just to get basic answers. Despite the fact that they had our money, our trade-in, and no car to give us, we actually had to ASK for a loaner vehicle so we weren't left stranded. What made the situation even worse was that at no point did the General Manager offer a sincere apology. Despite the dealership selling us a vehicle they ultimately couldn't deliver, holding our trade-in, forcing us to chase down answers, and creating a situation that resulted in multiple credit inquiries, he never once acknowledged the inconvenience or took responsibility for the dealership's mistakes. Instead of apologizing, he chose to speak down to us and attempt to justify the situation. A simple, genuine apology would not have fixed everything, but the complete lack of accountability spoke volumes about how little they value their customers. The General Manager's behavior was utterly patronizing. He talked down to me while attempting to condescendingly "explain" how auto loans work. What he didn't realize is that I have worked in banking for over five years and literally processed loans for a living. His attempt to lecture me was not only insulting but incredibly unprofessional--especially considering that because they tanked the first deal, they forced us to have our credit run multiple times just to try and fix their mess. For a GM to lecture a banking professional while actively damaging their credit due to his own inventory failures is laughable. The first finance guy we dealt with was incredibly rude and tried to rush us through everything. However, the only reasons we did not pull our money and take our business elsewhere immediately are because of our salesperson, Coby, the Sales Manager, and Sam, the second finance manager. Sam was absolutely fantastic. He made sure he fully explained everything and ensured we actually left with all of our paperwork in hand this time. Coby also worked tirelessly alongside the sales manager to advocate for us and try to make a broken situation right. It's also worth mentioning that we weren't originally working with Coby. The first salesperson we dealt with seemed to lose interest in helping us the moment we stated our budget was under $10,000 and quickly passed us off, apparently deciding we weren't worth his time. Ironically, we ended up spending nearly $10,000 more than our original budget and had every intention of purchasing two additional vehicles in the near future. That opportunity disappeared entirely because of the way we were treated. The fact that Coby stepped in, treated us with respect, and worked tirelessly on our behalf only made the difference between him and the rest of the dealership staff even more obvious. Coby, Sam, and the sales manager deserve a massive raise--and honestly, a much better company to work for. As for the rest of Auto Advantage and its upper management? Avoid this place at all costs.
