I am surprised at the bad reviews. I had the kind of customer service experience that when you leave you are smiling all the way to the car and excited about the rest of you r errands instead of wishing you were home. My daughters IPod quit working. I had no idea where my receipt was. We were instantly greeted. Very friendly guy. He asked to see the iPod. Pushed the obligatory reset sequence bit, of course, did not start. He directed us to another friendly person who was in charge of the Genius Bar. She asked to see the iPod and again did the reset bit. She directed us to seats with a laptop to play on and said it would be about 10 minutes. It was actually only 5. A super nice guy came, again trying the reset. (Okay we know its not gonna work but I think they must be required to try) and he plugged it in to see if it would charge. Which we knew it wouldn't. While waiting we heard people coming in with really basic stuff they could have solved in about two minutes on the support site so I understand. Another guy and his trainee came up. Introduced themselves. Checked the charger and said well we need to swap this for a new one. Got my kid a new iPod, explained the warranty. Helped her set it up and retrieve back up etc and we walked out. Super friendly. No hassle. Less than 20 minutes and daughter happily snap chatting with school pals all the way home. Nobody tried to upswell us. Not a whiff of disgruntlement over giving us a new one. We didn't even have to ask. A+ read more

I've made an appointment 1 week ago to have my iphone 6s battery replacement for the $29 program. I've heard stories about people making appointments before and when they got to the apple store, the store did not have batteries on hand and needed to order the replacement battery. I tried to avoid this by calling a day before my appointment to make sure that the store would have the battery on hand. The rep over the phone assured me that the store would have everything they needed. Well I got to the Apple store today which was a 30+ minutes drive with the rep telling me that they needed to order my replacement battery. It will now take 7-14 days for the battery to arrive. I don't understand why this is happening because when I make the appointment Apple asked for my iphone model and the reason for my visit. They could have easily saw the reason, ordered the battery then call me to reschedule the visit for repair. I'm not even sure if they ordered my battery because I was not given a written/email confirmation. The rep just told me that they will call me when the battery is in...Not very happy with APPLE right now. We'll see in a couple of weeks how the repair will go. read more

Worst Apple Store I've ever been to. The people who work there are beyond rude. They have made me cry, and I'm not the only one! They suck at just about everything here, mainly customer service, but that's something I highly value. This store isn't just a zoo, it's a poor excuse for any business. I normally love Apple, and frequently visit other Apple stores without issues. However, this is the only one in Omaha (and I just moved back) is shitty about everything (fixing products, helping customers, etc). read more

Wish that I could give them more stars. Kramer worked for 3 hours to help us with an impossible problem! He was beyond kind and resourceful. He tried several ideas with multiple devices to fix the problem. His positive attitude and perseverance made our experience a good one! read more

I came in for an OS Maverick class on a Wednesday morning. Luck would have it, no one else showed up for the class. So I had the instructors undivided attention. Reagan was super helpful and did not make me feel dumb for any of the questions that I had and she managed to answer all of them. I feel like I know a lot more about my MacBook then I did before I got there. She was really nice and I recommend signing up for any class. read more

This store is so mismanaged....I showed up 10 minutes before the store officially opened...I was number 2 on the list to be waited on....then several people showed up to get waited on. My name was erased from the list...when I finally get a salesman he excuses himself for a second to say hi to a customer he knows - fine, no problem. I tell him I want to buy a laptop, ipad and phone. Then someone comes in to use the bathroom - so he leaves to take this person to the bathroom. He is gone a few minutes....I decided they don't care enough to make a sale. The management is poor and unprofessional. Steve Jobs...with all respect to your legacy....Your quote should have been.... "Your time is short....don't waste it trying to get service in an Apple store"! read more

Wow. I expected so much more out of this apple store! I first went in with my 18 mo old around 2 pm hoping to get in and get my MacBook Pro checked out so i could spend the day with the kids. I was told that i needed an appointment which best buy sent me there and didnt tell me i needed. I had already drove 45 minutes to get to this apple store so i said ok if there is no other way. I was told i could take teh 430 appointment or come back another day. So i made the appointment. Walked around with a crabby baby for 2.5 hours. Came back....waiting for name to be called when a young girl walked. I probably shoudlnt have been listening but was, she did not have an appointment and also needed her macbook looked at for a harddrive issue. She was told to just go up to the counter and someone can help her. At that point there were 2 others with appointments at 430 (its 425) and this girl gets to walk in before us? What horrible customer service. The manager told me it must be becuase it was a mobile issue. NO not a mobile issue it was a MacBook as well. How awful to take a girl who had dinner plans over someone who has a screaming baby disrupting the whole store and has been waiting for hours to be seen. I was going to buy another macbook that day as well but i would rather give my business to another store. read more

First off I want to start out by saying my service here has been nothing short of HORRIBLE the past year. I purchase my iPhone along w apple care only to find out that when I actually needed to use my Apple care that it did not show that I had apple care. The employee who was working w me noted my account and told me that I wouldn't have any other issues from here on out. Well they were wrong. Next time I came in, again they said I didn't have apple care and I was there for 4 hours.. they also said there were no notes in the system about anything. I recently had my phone screen fixed by apple and when I left none of the buttons worked. When I brought the phone in for them to see what was wrong they said I would have to pay for a new phone. I have never been treated with such disrespect and HORRIBLE customer service in my entire life. The manager Keri was so smug and rude and didn't even try to help resolve the issues I was having... all of which were APPLES MISTAKE. I will never give apple another dime. I encourage everyone to make sure that their notes are accurate when they say they're putting them in. My anger right now is top level. read more

I'm in the military and I'm currently in Altus, OK. I have an iPhone 4s and I ordered a 5s online yesterday for pick up at the Apple retail store in Omaha, NE. My grandmother picked up the phone for me, and when doing so she explained to the associate that I was upgrading my current phone, and that I wasn't in town. He activated the 5s and deactivated my phone without telling her that he was turning off my service. Had he told her before doing so, I would have just picked up the phone when I got to town next week. As a military member this is a huge inconvenience, as the nearest AT&T store is an hour away and my only means of transportation being a cab, I now have no mode of mobile communication, and no way to reach my contacts while traveling. I called the Omaha store and spoke to Will who said he understood the situation and would have a manager call me back the following day as requested but the call never came. I called the store back and asked to speak to Will or a manager, but was forced to speak to Dan who advised that I get a SIM card from AT&T despite the 2 hour taxi commute that I informed him I would have to take. Before all I wanted was an apology on behalf of the store, but after 3 hours of dealing with reps at an 800 number that seemed to care less, no call back from the store manager, Dan's lack of understanding, and the original associate who failed to inform that my service would be turned off at the time of pick up, I'm kindly asking for some sort of gesture, gift card, or just something in lieu of all the inconveniences I'm incurring from a simple order. I've yet to have this issue resolved. read more

I bought a $270 phone for my daughter here. Wanted to return it (she received phone from brother) Daughter called and their employee said yes I could return it. Went to store and they said no Talked to manager of store and she would not stand behind what her employee said. So now I am stuck with apple phone.. Never trust these people. Manager Amy has a totally FAB team of experts who were friendly AND resolved our issue with our 6 Plus. When I walked in, I could feel this nice vibe throughout the store even if my knees were Shaking & I was crying from my being upset about my phone. One associate is a "genius" & calmly fixed our problem. My husband & I cannot be more pleased with the awesome customer service and knowledge!! read more

I went to the apple store after needing service with my phone for having water damage. They advised me on the phone that I would be able to purchase a refurbished phone if tI turned the old one in. I was completely honest with them about the water damage where I purchased the phone and the fact I opened up the phone to dry it out. They were only able to sell me a 4s at 450 dollars since they said the phone was tampered with since a screw was missing. This is irrevlant since they said they only recycle the parts and do not reuse them. As an added stress my aunt died the night before and I needed a new phone right away to get ahold of family and friends. They were not able to make an exception even thought they were sympathetic I really thought a screw being loose was irrelevant in the price difference of a 149 to 450. This is the last apple product I will buy. read more

People are so nice and offer some good experience but when you have problems, they don't know how to fix them and they created a huge problem for me. I paid to have the data on my PC transferred to my new MAC. I had so many problems. The fix for most were for me to manually correct them. However, one mistake is massive. There is metadata stored for each and every photo (it's the data about the photo, such as date taken) - all the metadata on every single photo of mine was lost! 12 years of data lost because of the data transfer and no amount of manual labor can correct this. The ironic part is that in order to use apple's photo app effectively, the metadata needs to accurate. The date taken on every single photo of mine is 5/1/2015. So I have this shiny, new MAC and I can't use it to organize pictures taken before 5/1/2015 - which is thousands in my case! Wish I had not switched to a MAC. read more

Extremely busy store, but that's to be expected. However. I was rather annoyed that my salesperson dismissed what I wanted - perhaps because I am female? I'm a graduate student and I do freelance graphic & web design when I can. I knew after doing lots of research I would want a MacBook Pro because I needed an HDMI port, and photoshop painting can be extremely demanding. The image sizes are huge and I use hundreds of layers. I also use a drawing tablet. Despite saying this, my salesman directed me towards the new 12in MacBook collection and an Apple TV. It definitely felt like a high pressure sales situation in which I was being sold a bad used car. Luckily he backed off after I told him that it would absolutely not work for me. The girl who helped me set up my Mac was very helpful, so I'm sure you'll have a different situation if you just need tech help. Make sure you know what you want before you go! The machine he wanted me to buy was far inferior and not suitable for a professional student or amateur graphic/web designer. Either the guy didn't know what I was talking about, or he thought I knew nothing. I believe either to be equally plausible. Overall, not the worst retail experience, but I was definitely bothered enough to write a review. Your mileage may vary. read more
