I love the added personal note thanking me for using their restaurant. I automatically received my discount. Doors were opened on entering and leaving. Definitely a plus. I ordered a bowl and since it was a carry out it came very quickly as I ordered in the restaurant.. My friends and I go here quite often. We had Tiffany as our server and she was very slow, did not refill our drinks or check on us. She forgot drink for quite some time and our food wasn't very hot. Without a doubt this is the worst store n the whole chain. I went there for Mother's Day because we were in the area. They had 10 to 15 tables open and we still had to wait for 20 mins. When we finally for seated it to another 10 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge us as she was to busy chatting with the others. When the manager finally made an appearance and we tried to complain he listened for a minute and just walked away. Applebee's is one of the best customer service driven restaurants in our area. As any chain they do hire young people and have a fairly regular turnover rate. Their management staff is visible, and should any issue arise always happy to replace whatever is wrong. The local store is VERY involved in the community, and many of us go there weekly. Corporate changes the menu and miss some old favorites,, but you can't beat this restaurant for good American food at a great price with wonderful staff. read more

My daughter has been asking for months to go to Applebee's for her ninth birthday. So we did tonight...well we tried. We arrived and the hostess informed us there was a ten minute wait due to the cooks being a bit behind. They had several available tables but they had my family wait in the entree way. There was a bad storm and cold wet wind blowing in every time someone came or left. My kids got hit by the door a number of times due to the tight space. After 20 minutes the hostess said it would be just a couple more minutes. Well, 15 minutes later we left. I guess empty tables can't be filled until the cooks are caught up. Came in on a not busy day or time, still had a 10minute wait. The waitress we got was very nice, I ended up ordering the house sirloin 7oz. It came out after 15-20minutes, cooked very well. The restaurant is clean. The food is as you would expect for a chain. Often the staff has customers waiting to be seated when there are plenty of tables. Also with the staff, no matter what conversation is at a table the staff talk over the customers. I find this to be rude as a server should approach a table and wait to be recognized before speaking. This staff walks up to the table and just begins talking loudly to stop all conversations. I have brought both issues to the manager numerous times, which results in me being treated like I am a problem. read more
