Walked in with a party of 6 in the evening. We were told the wait would be up to an hour. We decided to order to go. The hostesses told us to go by the bar to order. There was no one at the area to take our order. We waited and no one came. We ended up having to order online for pickup and returned to the hostess area to wait for our food. 3 parties larger than ours were then seated after us as we watched in disbelief. The hostesses then began complaining about other staff in front of us. When our food was finally ready we went to go get it. And still there was no one there to assist. Thankfully a waitress noticed we had been there waiting for some time. She was able to go to the back and let them know that we were there. We left quickly afterwards . Here's the Scoop! Today for lunch we decided to come to Applebees. They have a lot of new specials with Bourbon seasoning. They are simply delicious! I ordered the Bourbon Chicken & Shrimp with mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the Sausage & Chicken with Penne and roll. Both dishes were seasoned well and the portions were good. I also ordered the sizzling skillet apple pie with caramel and pecans . The manager Kenny was so welcoming great sense of humor and funny. Our waiter Peter was also very friendly and helpful in the ordering process. Both made our lunch experience memorable. Thank you Kenny for the meal to go. I'm so appreciative and will definitely enjoy it. Looking forward to coming back to try some of the other Bourbon dishes, for the service, and the atmosphere. 5 stars !!! read more

stopped in just to have a cocktail but ended up ordering a very delicious bacon cheeseburger that was cooked perfectly with some nice fries. Chrissy ordered the bone in chicken wings that looks scrumptious. Our very friendly barmaid made us some amazing cocktails that were served in little buckets that was so delicious and refreshing. My waitress was cool she did a great job,the gentleman in management checked on our table because the drink was off and looked so off.All the drinks were off,the food was hot... I prefer the Bayshore location though,always have. The location was clean and parking was easy. Stick to beer or a shot. My friends burger was overcooked and I had to keep using the napking because on my burger the cheese was hard like plastic,visible in the pictures. Go to Chili's or stay home. So we stopped here last minute after a day of soccer and birthday parties with the kids. My seven year old was adamant about leaving a yelp review for our server Katy who went above and beyond for my daughter's unique requests. I walked in at about 11:12pm and saw approximately 10 other patrons waiting about an hour to be seated according to the gentleman I spoke to. The host was missing for about thirty minutes. I proceeded to ask the nearest server if they were seating costumers at this time (now 11:20pm) after every server watched the front of the restaurant fill with more costumers waiting to be seated, they all walked into the back kitchen without helping any of us. The female server responded with "it will be a thirty minute wait." Then, the same female server proceeded to share with the impatient costumers that they were no longer seating patrons. I asked again, "I believe you told me it was a thirty minute wait?" And she left to go "see" and never returned. At 11:25pm, the phone at the desk of the absent hostess rang. No one picked up the phone. This is poor costumer service and I am saddened to say I will not be back. I am a frequent flyer at late night half-off apps and my last time here. Will definitely be my last. The host sat as down in a seat we were uncomfortable so me and my party got up to kindly ask if we could switch are seat. We found him sitting on his phone in the corner of the restaurant and all he said was "No". I recently recieved a hip replacement and could not access the higgher seating. He insisted that is the only place for us acter a back and forth. We thought about leaving but we sat down anyways. Our waiter than arrived with dirty dishes in his hands and took our drink order. We were ready to order, but as we said our orders he walked away. We than sat for 45 min before he came back, but when he did he pulled over a chair and sat down to take our orders. We all felt very disrespected by his lack of interest in his job and couldn't remember any of our orders. He came off as very disrespectful. We asked if we could get some extra condiments with our food and he told us "I won't remember so tell me later" and walked off. When our food finally came it was cold and tasted awful. We were ready to leave and asked for separate checks and he said "Nah shoulda told me from the beginning ". After this we decided to never come back here again. I mean business travel can put you in dire straits when it comes to finding good food. Ate here due to close proximity to my hotel. This location was really dirty and seemed unkept. Somehow whenever you are dining alone the host/hostess like to hide you away in dark corners and that was certainly the case here. Met my wife here for a quick lunch on her lunch break. Walked in and was seated immediately, the place wasn't busy for 1:30 in the afternoon which was nice. This location was pretty clean for a fast food chain, tables wasn't sticky and the utensils were clean. The service here was good, our waiter was nice he took our order within a reasonable amount of time after we sat down. We did the two for twenty deal which is not a bad deal. They give you one app to share and two entrees. We ordered the mozzarella sticks to start, surprisingly they were crispy and tasted pretty good. My wife ordered the artichoke chicken pasta and I ordered the lemon chicken. The artichoke chicken had good flavor and tasted pretty good! My lemon chicken was a tad salty in some areas and I wish they would have given a little bit more rice, besides that that dish was good! We were in and out within 35mins. Only giving one star because I have too,it is a Tuesday evening and we just left there around 5:10 -I put that out there because I forgot to get the Managers name. Miguel served us and it wasn't his fault but the experience was a disaster!! The manager sat us and said it will be a few minutes and we understood. Miguel finally came over and we ordered our drinks. Two blue moons and an ice water. After 25 minutes of us sitting there and asking a few times where are drinks were, the manager finally came over and says," sorry but we are out of Blue Moon" my response was," how come we weren't notified 25 min ago". He didn't ask if he could get us anything else or even waters. Our app came and it was ice cold. We then notified the manager and he didn't apologize or even offer to bring out another one. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A ZERO HERE. Do yourselves a favor and hire a manager that knows how to deal with people. We will never go back to an APPLEBEES AGAIN. read more

This was my first time to any Applebees. I was not particularly impressed. I went there with a bunch of friends from my old job about 14 of us in all. The place was very noisy probably mostly because of my friends and myself. The server was fine she took our orders and kept the beer flowing. We ordered alot of different appetizers besides the boat load of beer we all drank. The food was ok nothing to write home about. This was my favorite applebees because they followed instructions. They did not the last time I ordered it. Don't get me wrong I LOVE applebees apps. I ordered the quesadilla without meat and no wings on the sampler because I am a vegetarian and they did not follow those directions at all. I even called to ask them to please do that and they said it was no problem at all. I called back because I couldn't eat it and they said that they couldn't redeliver it but I could come pick it up. I came and picked it up and then they forgot the mozzarella sticks and they gave me 2 spinach dips? I was furious at this point since I paid for delivery then still had to go and it was messed up. Not sure why we came back here. It is going as terribly as usual. They served us food without ever bringing the silverware, brought my husband the wrong food, took forever to eventually bring the silverware and way longer to finally bring him the right food, which was simply wings. The waiter is a nice person, otherwise we may have called it a night early. To top it all off, they didn't bother to remove the incorrect wing order, and we found an extra beer on the check as well. No I'm giving Applebee's a five star review not because of the service or the food. I'm giving the stars to the manager Millie... Because she was up against the wall with orders and a cook that walked out. I was upset because I sat there waiting for my order for almost an hour and 15 minutes. I was going to cancel my order and she was going to refund my money... As I stood there the order came out. She did the right thing. She refunded my money and allowed me to take the food. I felt bad with taking the money back but my time is got to be worth some thing and she realize that. I applaud the manager of this Applebee's for great customer service. UPDATE.
