Went there last night and it was incredibly packed so I was prepared to wait but people who had been seated after me, with bigger parties, received their food and drinks much faster. They must be understaffed because the waitress was so rushed she got the order wrong twice, forgot our drinks, and when I finally received the right food, the chicken was missing. Also had to wait 20 minutes for a drink refill. Overall it took 2 hours for 2 people to dine and we left unsatisfied and out $80. Just go to Chilis. read more

We visited Applebee's during a very busy time, but Nick made our experience exceptional. Despite how crowded the restaurant was, he stayed attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. He made sure we had everything we needed and never made us feel rushed. The food was also excellent, everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious. Pleasantly surprised. I wasn't planning on eating but my daughter really wanted to go here for the games. I told her that if we waited more than 15 minutes. We will need to leave. We didn't have to wait at all. They also seem to be adequately staffed and with the right customer-oriented people. Service was efficient and pleasant. WORST Applebee's location... let me elaborate, I have dined before at Applebee's but not at this location. First when I entered the restaurant with my husband, there was NO hostess to greet the customers and although the bartender and other waiters saw us, NO one said anything and ignored the fact that we were waiting. Mind you it was NOT busy! As time kept ticking, other customers showed up and still NO service. After about 15 mins. a gentleman showed up and he did apologize for the wait. He looked like the manager but Im not sure. When he led us to a booth, he took us all the way to the end of the restaurant when there were other booth available. My husband expressed the comment, "do not forget about us". The gentleman informed my husband that he will make sure that we are not forgotten. BOY was he lying to us....... my husband and I waited for more than 40mins. and still NO service. I was tired of waiting, and chose to leave the restaurant. NEVER have I EVER experienced such disrespectful service. It looked to me as if this particular restaurant did NOT have many servers and the ones that it did have, they were very slow, and were NOT pleasant. The food was so so. I ordered "fall off the bone" ribs which tastes ok but boy were they tough! The salad as a starter was excellent. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the star of the meal! As for service, our waitress was nice. You could tell they were very understaffed though. She seemed very stressed. For a bar and grill on a Saturday night it wasnt awful. The restaurant was clean but very noisy. There were a group of young men at the table beside us who used the F-bomb a lot. Felt bad for the table with little kids on the other side of them! Walked into the Veteran's Highway Applebees and was immediately greeted by the manager John, and the server Vinnie. Service was great and so was the food. My wife and I had the 2 for $30 special which included generous house salads and entrees. The Asian chicken and Fettuccine chicken broccoli entrees were great too. The Good!, it's local ,the food, some good, others are cheap quality. We find costly for the dish. We gotten the Ceasars salad .the old salad of 3 days gets fresh dumped on top. Giving us several discolored pieces of salad in the mix. Actually 25% of the salad many times. The building can run you out because it's too cold. We left a few times ,couldn't sit long enough to eat. In turn your food gets cold before you finish. The story with broccoli is a farce. Every one of the restaurants and grocery stores has broccoli, why is it eliminated for several months. Saying it's a recall. No one recalls in restaurants. Its done by the supplier in the event of contamination. And if the supplier cant provide their is a world market out their. evey restaurants and grocery store has broccoli. But Applebee's! I have a few other gripes bit this is the immediate issue I've mentioned. read more

First, I ordered a house salad. The root of the lettuce was in my salad. The waitress came over, asked how everything was and I showed her the 2 inch piece of lettuce root that was in my salad. She said sorry and moved on. THEN, my dinner came out - I ordered my steak medium rare - it was well done. I sat there as my husband was eating and finally someone went past the table - a Manager. I told him the issue and even he said it was well done. He took the steak and said he would fix it. He came back about 10 to 15 minutes later with my meal. He asked me to cut the steak - well done - I then cut the middle and there was some pink. You would think that after the manager brought it back to the kitchen it would be correct BUT NO!! Now I know why I only order chicken from Applebee's The manager stopped back and I told him it was still not correct. He apologized and asked if I wanted some dessert but after 2 dinner items being wrong, I did not want to see what my dessert would be. I cut my losses and we left. A very clean restaurant, greeted promptly and seated. Consideration was given to a disable client immediately. Lela ( not sure of spelling) was pleasant, professional and friendly. She was knowledgeable with dietary restrictions and made a few suggestions. She offered information regrading the specials on the menus which were most helpful. Read negative reviews. Decided to give it a try anyway. Came in on a Friday night at 6::30 pm there was a decent crowd we were a party of 5. We were seated promptly. The server came over immediately. Was pleasant. And friendly. Took our order within minutes the appetizers and drinks were at the table. Soon after the food came. Cooked as ordered no issues no complaints. The service was excellent. First time here. Lured in by a cheeseburger special. Do everything online. This is mid-coronavirus. Only old couple at bar and a table of 8 young kids. Slight problem getting my order-- nothing really burdensome. Problem came after eating and then having to make frequent runs to the bathroom. I have been coming to this Applebee's for years and their food is always great. I enjoying coming after 10 pm for half apps with my friends since it's such a great deal. This was my first time returning after covid and i was pleasantly surprised about the precautions they took like face masks, 50% capacity and waiting outdoors until your table was ready as well as social distancing. The reason i've decided to write this review was because our server Jessica was amazing! She was so friendly and personable and i've never had a waitress as nice as her at Applebee's. She put a smile on me and my little sisters face and she took the time to talk to my little sister which many servers don't do. Jessica was great and we had great service. Yes, that Applebee's... I know that fast casual dining gets a bad rap, but the food is American fare and it's not bad at all. I asked for my steak medium rare, & I can tell you that I've been to many places that don't get it right, but they did here. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Went tonight expecting to be seated... as one does at a restaurant. We waited at the front for a hostess for 15 minutes and the waiting area grew with about 20 people waiting for tables. After one didn't show, we asked a server if there was anyone who could seat us and he was the nastiest person I've ever met. Instead of apologizing for the wait he made a snarky remark about how they were understaffed. Meanwhile we saw multiple staff members doing little tasks that could have been completed after people were seated. Ended up leaving before they even began to seat people. Never once did anyone come up to us to offer any help or apologize for the lacking service. Came here for the first time. Sat at the bar on a Sunday evening. Service was good. Had a beer on draft and the sizzling steak with mashed potatoes. Very good! Ordered medium well and it was perfect. Very happy and satisfied. Received 4 stars instead of 5 because out of all the years I've been to an Applebee's, seemed like the prices really bumped up, and I felt may be little over priced for Applebee's compared to other establishments that charge more but with good reason. Also, ordered the cookie dessert that wasn't so great and almost cold when I received it-- like it wasn't warmed up good. Would recommend another location for the cookie skillet and try something else here. Cookie skillet was not worth it here. All in all, I would probably go back, but for specific choices reasonably priced. read more

I stopped in around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, on my way to a 7PM event in Nassau. The place was empty. There were maybe 5 occupied tables (all of which were eating) and nobody at the bar. Despite this, it took close to an hour to get a burger. On top of that, they told me they were out of the sauce that comes on that burger - AFTER serving it. The burger was alright, but the sauce was the whole reason I ordered that one in particular. It also took over 20 minutes to get the check.
