I mainly always come here for the wings and they do not disappoint. I enjoy the bone-in and boneless wings and usually go for the meal with two orders of fries for my sides. The wings are relatively meaty and aren't over-drenched in sauce. The boneless option has a good amount of chicken in them and a good balance of breading. The fries have a nice crisp to them as well. Nowadays I usually come here in the middle of the afternoon so it's not too packed. The wait time for food is pretty average. The sauces for the wings has been limited to two but I guess that's ok. I usually go for teriyaki and a buffalo sauce. Portion sizes are reasonable but I think the price has definitely gone up in recent memory - much like everything else in the world. Overall, this place is still a classic favorite for me whenever I'm in the Hauppauge area on Long Island. Some visits are better than others but it's still nice to come home to a good plate of wings and fries in the neighborhood.

So warm and fudgy soooo goood!

Wow!! My husband and i did take out from Hurricane Grill and wings last night and it was AWESOME!!! My husbands words about the food "this takes delicious all the way above the moon! On a scale of one to ten its to the moon!" The rubs were cooked to perfection. We got a rack of honey bbq ribs and i could literally cut them with a butter knife. They were So tender!!! At one point the meat literally fell off the bone!! They werent drowned in sauce which was nice and they were absolutely delicious!! We also got onion rings which were big and crispy and the garlic parm fries. Let me tell you about the garlic parm fries!! They are AMAZING! They take their regular fries and put them in their garlic parm wing sauce and then the deliciousness happens! So yummy!! We also ordered boneless wings and they were delicious as well. We got mild and teriyaki sauces on them. It was excellent. Oh yeah and cant forget the fried pickles! They were plentiful and fried to perfection. The sauce for the fried pickles is the cyclone sauce so too spicy for me but my hubby loved it! Plus i dont think the pickles really needed the sauce because they were excellent on their own! If you are looking for an excellent meal try hurricane! I cant say enough good things about them!!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HURRICANE GRILL AND WINGS IN HAUPPAGUE!

Wings are amazing & fries ! This is what we always get. I definitely recommend to try the wings' & fries. :)

    They sold me this

Waste of money, unless you like the most disgusting stock of chicken on the market. Ordered the bone in wings and was very dissapointed. Who eats this?

Everything was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served with professionalism from start to finish. We went with the Carnivore Belly package and added skirt steak, wings, and a mix of sides. The BBQ was outstanding - meaty tender ribs, juicy pulled pork, burgers and dogs grilled to perfection. The wings were crisp and flavorful, and the fryer setup stole the show with piping-hot fries and onion rings that guests couldn't stop talking about. Even the sides (macaroni salad, harvest salad) were fresh and balanced out the richness of the BBQ perfectly. Booking, setup, cooking, serving, and cleanup were all handled smoothly. Our guests raved about the food, and we were able to just enjoy the day. It was the best of both worlds - the taste of authentic BBQ with none of the stress of doing it ourselves. Highly recommend Big Belly for anyone looking to elevate their party or gathering. They absolutely made our event unforgettable. My belly is certainly happy, and now big too.

The pretzel bun and so buttery and creamy. The loaded baked potato is so well balanced. And the best of all deep fried peanut butter and jelly. It's a great spot to takeout or casual dine in I hope they get a vegan coleslaw and mac and cheese too soon.

This place isn't trying for polished restaurant experience, and honestly, that's kinda part of its charm. It feels like the kind of spot where the bar comes first and the kitchen supports it if this makes sense. The atmosphere is a neighborhood hangout feel. You can tell it's a local spot--people walking in were greeted by name, and there's a familiar, lived-in vibe that makes it feel welcoming if you're a regular, and easy enough to settle into if you're not. Food-wise, the corned beef on both the Gaiety and the Finnegan's Wake sandwiches stood out--tender, flavorful, and generous. Both sandwiches came with fries, and while I appreciate skin-on fries, these leaned a bit soggy rather than crispy. Overall, this is a solid spot if you go in with the right expectations. It's less of a destination restaurant and more of a go-to pub where you can grab a drink, and enjoy pub food. If you're looking for a lively, casual bar with good portions and a strong local following, it delivers--even if not everything on the plate is perfect. I think I'd like to make an update review after trying a few more dishes. At a glance, 3.5 with overall good experience.

I've been here on numerous occasions hoping that maybe this would finally be the visit where everything clicked. Unfortunately, it just hasn't happened. My experiences have been so-so, and more often than not they've been slightly disappointing. My biggest complaint has always been the food. My take has been it's been bland or uninspired. The French onion soup was just ok, and seemed like no effort putting this together. No provolone cheese option when I've ordered which is crazy. The Caesar salad tasted diluted, with lettuce that seemed waterlogged rather than crisp and fresh. Just overall underwhelming. The food is not necessarily terrible, but just mediocre and forgettable. Portion size is another problem. For what you're paying, the plates often feel surprisingly small. One example of this was the "Big C Burger," which was honestly a huge letdown. With a name like that you'd expect something substantial. Instead, the burger was tiny--maybe 4-5 ounces at most. At first glance you could barely even see the meat because the bun swallowed it. I ordered it medium and it came out completely overcooked, cooked to death really. The bun didn't help either--dense, dry, and overpowering the already small patty. The whole thing just felt poorly executed. Even the little details were off. I asked for olive oil on the side for a salad and what came out was clearly some generic vegetable oil. It felt like a lazy substitution, the kind of thing that makes you question how much care is going into the kitchen overall. To be fair, the one thing Faraday's consistently gets right is the atmosphere. The restaurant is has a cozy charming space with a warm pub feel. The indoor dining area although small has character and a comfortable vibe. The outdoor area is really nice too, and perfect for setting for a nice meal on a comfortable day. Service is good. I've not had any issues with any servers ever being inattentive. Occasionally some order mixups but quickly rectified. Unfortunately, that inviting setting hasn't translated to memorable meals. After several attempts over the years, Faraday's has remained one of those places that seems like it should be good--but for me, it just never quite hits.
