Food poisoning and threats of murder. Went last Friday with a group of friends for the app special. Something we do monthly for some time now. There was a very long, loud and vulgar dispute between a waitress and kitchen staff. Metal was clanking, words were exchanged, and statements like " I fill f-ing murder you" were flying. Something I didn't appreciate with my child present. Supposedly the cooks were purposely messing with the waitress food orders to hurt tips. We had our food already by this point and were half way done eating. The waitress that was vocal came out and made a large circle through the restaurant, apologizing for the situation and what was going on. She quickly returned to the kitchen to continue her lecture. We joked about our dinner and a show then left shortly after. By the next morning everyone in our party felt off and had diarrhea. I myself continued to get worse and had severe vomiting as well. After 14 hours of loosing everything but my soul, I landed in the hospital for severe dehydration. I was released Sunday morning and still not able to function as I should. I am a young guy and this place put me on my butt. Definitely will not be back again. read more

11/28/25 My cousin, I, and her sisters all went out to eat after Black Friday shopping. We sat down and ordered the 2 for $25. We got our appetizers everything was great, then our food came out. I ordered the steak, my cousin ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta, her sisters ordered the grilled cheese burger and the chicken salad. My steak looked fake and like it was 3D printed, her sisters just kept pulling hair after hair after hair from their food. Like we could've made a whole wig. Then when I waitress Tammy M came over and we told her she rolled her eyes and huffed at us. Then the manager Dave came over. He told us he took them off the bill and asked them if they wanted a replacement meal. He was super nice (only good experience we had there) They weren't super busy but they were getting there. Two of us went for a early supper on a Saturday evening and was told there would be 20-30 minute wait. While waiting we began to notice half the dinning was empty. Tables every where we looked. Tonight my husband and elderly mother and I stopped in to eat. We were told 15-20 minute wait. Several people came in after us. Eventually we were told that the reason people weren't being seated was because the kitchen needed to catch up. About 40 minutes later we were still waiting and the restaurant was over half empty. At this point we just wanted to sit and have a drink, even if we had to wait for food a little while. Apparently, DAVE, the manager was telling the girls not to seat anyone. Even the staff was getting upset because DAVE was back in the kitchen not dealing with the customers out front. DAVE needs to learn how to manage a store and work on his customer service as most of us sitting and waiting ended up leaving. And I don't even think DAVE cared. Get it together Butler Applebees...or get new management!!! read more

Awful service! We waited about an hour before our food even arrived, and when it did it didn't even taste that good! I wouldn't fault the server, but he never can back over to take our appetizer plate and didn't stop to refill any of our waters. He also waited a very long time to take our check. Tough times for restaurants. But it was nice to get a non-home-cooked meal for the first time in weeks via the take-out service. Food was delivered on time, nicely prepared and with a smile by a staff member who was - quite literally - running her buns off between the kitchen and the cars in the lot. We are quite impressed with the service and diligence of the staff at this Applebees during the shutdown and will be back. PS: Give those restaurant workers as good a tip as you can. Many depend on tips for their livelihood and with no in store service, I'm sure those tips are scant. Be nice. read more

Four cheese mac with honey pepper chicken..definitely a few problems there. 1. pasta was very flimsy and there wasnt a lot 2. mystery items like a small piece of green broccoli and almost cat food looking items scattered throughout the dish 3. barely any sauce on the chicken and chicken wasnt big overall the dish wasnt bad, but a little concerning cheese wasnt melted on burger i understand there are some hard workers, but please make sure these things dont happen again God bless you all! read more

Once seated waitress was prompt and took drink order which was also delivered in normal time. At which time I ordered. 35 MINUTES LATER, I finally received my food. I ordered chicken Caesar salad and a side of mashed potatoes. I didn't know making a salad took that long. Dined here during lunch hour on a Sunday. Was seated immediately and had a Caesar salad and Fiesta Lime Chicken. Both were terrific! The entree in particular really exceeded my expectations. The dish was well-presented; the chicken was moist, generously (but not sloppily) covered in a delicious sauce and melted cheese. It sat on crunchy wanton-like crisps that made for an excellent texture mix. Really impressed overall and that includes the kind, present-but-non-intrusive server. So I decided to go to Applebee's with my boyfriend who is 18 wanting to have one alcoholic beverage the waitress was very rude and didn't even give me the time of day about it not once willing to check my ID she said she could not serve me because the person I was with was not 21. Ironic as it may seem given my rating I'm surprised at the other negative reviews (not implying that they are not valid). I come here for trivia and usually my experiences have been good. The Cedar Lemon Chicken and Pepper Crusted Sirloin with Whole Grains are two dishes that have never disappointed. In addition, the desserts and drinks I've ordered that include the Triple Chocolate Meltdown, Dessert Shooter, and Churros Smores have always left me pretty satisfied. The reason, however, for this review is due to the recent dish I ordered, which was the Savory Cedar Salmon. To begin with, the picture in the menu, which looked pretty appetizing, in no way represented the paltry looking dish that was served to me. The artichoke spread looked more like melted cheese and actually tasted pretty awful. In addition, the spinach looked very shabby and as if it was just about to turn and the veggies looked nothing like in the picture. In spite of this review, trivia nights are fun and for reasons mentioned in the first paragraph I'd see myself returning, but misrepresenting a dish on the menu will get you docked. If our next experiences are better I will certainly consider increasing my rating. read more

I will never return to this place again! First off I only came here cause my mother invited me for a soldiers appreciation day dinner that her work was having. Other than that kind, and loving gesture, this experience was horrible. First the wait for a dirty table was ridiculous. When we finally got seated and asked for a warm damp cloth to wipe out table, it took the waitress 15 minutes to get said cloth and this was all before we ordered our drinks. The drinks are why I'll never go back. When we were finally able to order our drinks, I ordered a pink lemonade. As I was drinking this witches brew I found a shard or glass, from what I assumed was a result of a broken glass in the back not properly being cleaned up. I reported this incident to the manager and immediately left the restaurant. I'd give a negative review if I could. We dealt with the most disrespectful Manager and waitress ever. We could hear our server tell another server how much bullshit it was that we were coming in before closing, I swear she was talking as loud as possible so we could hear her. We made a $100 order. They messed the order up, forgot a whole dish and didn't give us sauces. They locked the door 20 minutes before closing and made a huge deal that he was locking the door, we still tipped them 18 dollars, I wouldn't recommend going there at all especially not anytime around closing if you want good service. We were the only order they had and they still managed to mess it up. Didn't charge us but didn't apologize either. Very slow service when it wasn't busy. Took my sons friend with us who is visiting from out of state. His order was wrong, it got corrected but still. Since it was his birthday she said he had his choice of a desert. I 'assumed' it was free from the way she presented it to us. We were charged for the desert. She even opened the door for me to come in. Then walked me to my table while making some friendly chit chat. Allison was my server and she was Fantastic! I ordered a Thai salad with shrimp and it came out quickly and it was delicious! Allison checked back with me making sure all was perfect! The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The entire experience here that was provided by these people with positive attitudes, friendly demeanor, and smiling faces really made my day!
