Menu description NOT what you get! I ordered a full rack of "fall off the bone" ribs with no sauce. The correct term is "dry." I sure got DRY. No meat was falling off these ribs. They were literally so overcooked and dried out, I couldn't finish one rib. Manager called over. I requested to replace with a bacon mushroom Swiss burger without any sauce. Stated I did not want the mushroom Swiss burger on the menu. He asked how I wanted it cooked. I said as rare as they allow. Got an overdone skinny greasy burger. No bacon. Sautéed onions added. Not to mention a pile of French fries. Due to my allergies I requested they be removed. Never offered an option for another vegetable. Poor management and obviously poor leadership. Thirty minute wait, the place was not packed they just refuse to open up 100% From the looks of it they are at 50%. I bet their corporate office is quick to apply for the PPP. This is the second visit here and I will NEVER BE BACK. We had the holiday meal, Turkey, Dressing, Green Beans & Mashed Potatoes. It was so salty you could hardly taste anything but salt, Turkey was tough, Green Beans were not cooked long enough. They also charges $4.00 for a small glass of tea. All in all this was the worst food and service sucks. For 2 people to eat food that was nasty it cost us $45.00. Here's the deal. What soured me on this trip (2nd time here) is that I wanted to use the restroom before I sat down. I met a guy coming out of the restroom, went to use it and it was filthy! So I realized I couldn't even use it. So I walked out and realized that the guy who just came out of there was the manager! I am not blaming him for what I saw but I am blaming him for not even apologizing for the condition of it and that he was getting it taken care of. Our server was very good. I didn't order anything after that. My wife had the tortilla soup and she said it was good. My daughter had bbq boneless chicken wings. They didn't look good at all but she ate them and then her boyfriend had quesadilla's and he said they were ok. If you are practicing social distancing, do not go to this Applebee's. I was sitting at the bar in one of the marked areas enjoying my dinner when several younger adults approached the bar area and just started ordering and chatting with the bartender. These young adults did not have any respect for the area I was in and crowded me out. The bartender did not ask them to break up or step back. Was in town, visiting family for Christmas. In the evening, my family wanted something to eat, my aging grandparents wanted hamburgers. They are senile and struggle to eat properly. We like to try and make sure they eat plenty when we visit. So we set off to find a burger place that was open on Christmas Day. We were actually pleased to see that most places were closed (good for them, right?), but the only place serving burgers that was open was Applebee's. I've seen it open for a few years now, but typically avoid places that aren't locally owned or serving local and fresh ingredients. We figured that it couldn't be that bad, and maybe we should give it a shot. My husband and I came in and waited an extended period of time for a hostess. It was the holidays though, so it makes sense that service could be lackadaisical. We said we wanted a to go order, so we were invited to sit at the bar, where we ordered. I've got to say, for what we expect from applebees , we thought prices were pretty high. Most plates, including burgers, were $10+. And the menu was like a dumbed down picture menu, with hardly any descriptions of ingredients. Not too good when we were initially worried about the quality of their ingredients anyway. The bartender was nice enough, but we must say that the cleanliness of back of house staff and of the restaurant wasn't the best. We were told they were slammed for xmas lunch, so I am assuming that, again, we can let some cleanliness slide...? The order arrived, we paid, and drove home. The family sat down to eat their burgers, and my husband opened his last.... Only To find a large, black, curly, pubic hair, just sitting in the box, next to his burger. Could it have been a beard hair? We'll leave a picture and let you be the judge, but it sure must be a haggard beard, if it is. Because we struggle to get his grandparents to eat, we chose not to stop their meal. He quietly closed the box, discreetly inspected everyone else's food, to make sure it was alright, and sat there , disgusted, while the rest of us ate ours. Before getting up to leave our family, on Christmas, to return a pube sandwich. Haven't eaten at an Applebee's in about 15 years, and its plain to see why it should pretty much be avoided at all times. This was definitely my worst Applebee's experience. It wasn't anything in particular, it was everything in general: the food was cold, yet we waited forever; the service was terrible, the mixed drinks were watered down, and something didn't taste quite right. Since this is the only place in town where one can get a margarita, I guess it's worth visiting. Get the sweet potato fries but don't bother with the churros s'mores Ugh, so greasy. And the "Perfect Margarita" is far from perfect. So sweet that the next morning I had a sugar hangover b/c there was barely any booze in it. Been here 4 times great service but tonight they serve me someone cancel or wrong order it would been alright 5-10 min old but look and taste 45min to hour old should have be discarded not serve .At first i thought cook burned my order but have had this chicken shrimp tango dish 4 times this month never look this bad rice was dry stuck together forming balls (usually loose soft fluffy) cheese sauce was hard cold (usually warm liquidity) still taste alright if was take out not freshly serve from kitchen. Terrible experience here. We sat at the bar and there was an awful odor coming from the bartender area. We were overcharged, ignored, given the wrong food (which was overcooked and looked like it had been under a heat lamp for an hour) they were out of the dollar beer and ran out of Mic Ultra, then the "manager" (black guy wearing what looked like a workout shirt, ball cap and no name tag) cut off our whole group after one person went outside to vape. Still no idea what that was about. The only reason they're getting the second star is because the bar tender Cody was nice and seemed to be doing his best under the substandard circumstances. The waitress didn't know a thing about the menu, never offered refills and on a Friday at 1:40pm in the afternoon with hardly anyone in the place, they couldn't manage to get the food out in 12 min or less like the menu promises. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. They seated us right away, but it took our waitress 15 minutes before she took our drink order. When she came to the table she apologized, and blamed the hostess for giving her 12 tables at once. After we ordered or food, it took 40 minutes to arrive. I ordered the Asian boneless wings, all I have to say is the wings at Sonic are much better. My husband had to wait 50 minutes for a bowl of French onion soup, when it arrived it was watered down, and the cheese was not melted on the top. Help me understand when you order the south west steak salad all 3 tiny strips and you ask to have the steak cooked medium rare it comes out burnt. It's salad and steak not rocket science. So I send it back 20 minutes later I told the server to cancel the order since my wife had already finished eating. Then I hear the manger in the back yelling what do you mean he doesn't want it. Gee I guess it was to hard for a MANAGER to walk out and ask questions. Here's a clue it's called customer service. I understand why the 4 thousand people at first Monday's went elsewhere to eat.
