This was not the most pleasurable eating experience. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. The menus that we were given had some form of condiment on them (pages were stuck together), they did have many choices to choose from. All of the items that were ordered were not cooked properly (over or under). Drinks were not refilled until the glass was empty. For some strange reason the ceiling would drip water randomly, not pleasant! It seems that this Applebees in more interested in moving drinks than serving food. We should have gone across the street to Chili's where the line was out the door, or the Japaneses steak house. read more

The food was okay, but we ordered carside to go and my husband sat there for over ten mins waiting on our food that was supposed to have been ready for 10 mins prior to him even coming, they never came out with the food so he had to go inside for it, when he got the food they acted upset for not getting a tip.. read more

This location needs new management. My wife and I got up and walked out after sitting for an extended period of time (15 minutes) waiting for our drinks to arrive...when we got up due to bad service, the manager on duty and the hostess saw us get up and walk out and offered no help whatsoever. It was quite obvious there is a lack of concern at this location. They did, however, manage to yell at the waitress to show her that we were getting up and walking out. We will never return to this location. Funny thing was...the parking lot was almost empty....now we know why! read more

If there were an option to give this place 0 stars I would. I work near this Applebees so have frequented it enough to say it really is always this bad. I came here once at 11:30 am for lunch and the restaurant was empty but because one waitress hadn't shown up for work yet, the host said no one could be seated. I wasn't the only one, many people came in and left cause they didn't know when anyone could be seated. Seriously? How terrible is that?? Usually I go at lunch and service is so slow it is hard to get out in an hour. I rarely get eating utensils when I order food. I guess they expect you to eat with your hands. The restaurant smells like a dirty locker room in the gym. Oh and when I go after work for a drink, you can't even get a descent draft beer because their draft machine is usually not working and even if it is you get more froth than beer. The bar isn't that clean either. This is the worst Applebees ever. It's more run like a hole in the wall run down bar than a major chain restaurant. I'd recommend not coming here and going across the street to Bud's. read more

We probably got here at about 1:45pm & 2:00pm on a Sunday, as soon as we stepped in the hostess jumped in and said "you've got to move away from the door, it's a fire hazard" ok first of all if the restaurant caught on fire we'd be the first ones out the door. Second of all she didn't even say welcome, the second hostess took our last name and made us wait about 15 mins to seat us since it was a group of 6 people, which is kind of understandable since is a couple more people than usual. My boyfriend usually orders the ultimate trio and this time they have changed their menus so we ordered it even tho it wasn't called the "ultimate trio" anymore, so the "trio" came out first leaving my boyfriend eating first & us waiting for our food to come out, then the hostess comes to us argues saying how it's not supposed to come out together with our food that it's supposed to come out separately. No one explained it so we didn't know! Looking like she's on crack or meth, the hostess starts telling us left and right how it wasn't supposed to come out all together blah blah blah. My boyfriend then says "so im gonna be eating but by the time their food comes out I'm gonna be food less?" To what the hostess replies "yes, they're not gonna serve it to you all together" gave us attitude and didn't even apologize or anything, however our waitress which came from another Applebee's was nice she even apologized for the hostess, kept checking on us and asking if we needed refills or if we needed anything at all. Jordan did an excellent job for her first time being at a new restaurant (like I've said before she had came from another Applebee's) but Samantha, (the hostess) was a total bitc*. Also as we were leaving, we heard her say "Im not mad, I'm just always serious so I rarely smile". NEVER will we come back to this Applebee's again, we have NEVER had any problems at any other Applebee's and today just killed it for us and my boyfriends family. read more

As a server I can understand many unusual circumstances, but this was ridiculous.. When we were seated there were ants crawling on the table, which I wasn't entirely upset about. Certainly wasn't happy about it either though. Next our waitress frantically attempts to get our drink order but gets ill when we ask for a moment while we looked at there new flavored drinks... next we order appetizers with our meal. No big deal right? My appetizer comes out... we wait for my friends app. Minutes pass and a new girl approached us to inform us that our waitress had to leave... oddly enough though our old waitress was still there, taking other orders. Were we seriously that bad? Did we give off such a bad vibe she had to pass us on to someone else? More minutes pass and my main dish and my friends appetizer(also her main dish) and her boyfriends meal come out. Who brought it out? Our other waitress!!! Hello all! *Scroll down for the point if you want!* We stopped in East Ridge to visit a friend on the way home to Atlanta and the three of us went to this Applebee's (we chose this over the Chili's across the street - ewww!). After a loooong day of traveling (10 hours) and we were pretty irritable, lethargic, and starving. The host seemed very uninterested (tired?) but we were seated right away. The server, MANDY, jumped right over to get our drinks and appetizers. Her energy was AWESOME!! She cheered us up right away. We made a mistake ordering appetizers and painfully let her know, to which she promptly fixed after returning to the table and assured it was no problem. The apps came out quickly and were hot and of good quality. (The pretzels and shrimp - also awesome!) We dug right in. Upon coming back to the table with refills, she was super social and readily took our order. We all ordered top sirloin steaks. One of us EXTREMELY rare, the other two mid-rare. After a few minutes, a female manager came to the table and apologized and said that our steaks would be a few minutes longer as she wanted them re-fired and stated she didn't want to serve us over cooked meat, which was super nice!! (It had been less than 10 minutes since we ordered anyway!) The steak came exactly 5 minutes later. The manager and server waited at the table for us to check the meat. Two of them were perfectly cooked, along with the sides, the other was a bit under. They took it back, fired it, brought it back, it was still a bit under (one of the mid-races). They took it once again without a problem. (This is why I gave 4 stars.) This time it was perfect! The staff, food, wait time, and over all service was wonderful. It was such a great experience for a chain restaurant. I was flabbergasted. --Oh, and it was happy hour. Super worth it! Point: This Applebee's experience was great! Ask for Mandy if she's working. Let me explain. Wow! So I went there with a friend and it wasn't busy at all. I should have know that it was going to start of bad as soon as we walked in because it took the host about 5 minutes to sit us because she was sitting on the bench talking with her friend and another server. Then she said sit where ever and I will follow you, okay cool! Our server go there and she was new but that wasn't the bad part she smelled like a mixture of BO and Cigarettes. Not trying to cover it up at all. The table and booth that we sat at were very sticky, the menus were dirty as hell. I asked for an appetizer and never got it, the burger I ordered was not the way I wanted it (I know that wasn't the server's fault) I don't send food back because I know what COULD happen. I was going to ask for a dessert but I got the check instead. All in all not a good experience and the food wasn't great! Don't recommend this Applebee's at all. Go across the street to Chili's or down the road to Longhorn. read more

Overall, this location is ok. It's clean and I've never had any issues here other than with the host. Every time I've encountered him he has been super creepy. I'm usually alone on my lunch break and he seems to linger at my table and try to do my server's job. He's nice enough but really awkward and creepy. Not a good first inpression. read more

Wow! What a difference you guys have made to this location! I love the new tvs & bar area- as always the half price appetizers are great and the 2 4 1 happy hour is a plus! I will definitely be coming here more. The bar staff was very polite & fun- (short dark haired girl) and the atmosphere was great- no complaints! Thanks! read more
