On our way to Tennessee, we stopped for lunch at this Miller's, and it was a great choice. The place is calm and much less noisy compared to other locations. Our server was very kind and friendly. Everything was very clean, including the restrooms, which is not always the case in places like this. As for the food, I'd give it an 8/10. The burgers had an amazing grilled flavor. The fish was very tasty and fresh, clearly made to order. The only downside was that it was a bit too oily and could have been drained a little better. read more

This place is just wonderful!! Me and my boyfriend usually order out from here but this time we decided to sit down. The food was absolutely amazing, it looked EXACTLY like the pictures and was cooked to literal perfection! The service wow, i was so incredibly impressed. We had the server Victoria, she was just a peach, she was in top of EVERYTHING! And was just the kindest! I review a lot of places, this was by far the best service I've ever seen. Ide say she deserves a raise haha!! Also i will say at first i was like ugh everything's got golf and other male dominant sports so i didn't enjoy the tvs but then they started playing women's gymnastics and i enjoyed it a lot. Well, I hotta admit I'm a sucker for great service and great food. I was in town on business and met (again) some cool locals at the bar. Had some great story telling going on. Now to my point, Jessica is a purveyor of fine spirits and service. She knows her crowd well and never ceases to satisfy. Jessica provided great service to me and my new found friends. My togo order was correct, packaged well, and with utensils (not a guarantee in other places.) I had the chicken fajitas and side salad. Delicious!! Stopped in on an overnight on a road trip. Great lil spot. They have over 35 craft beers on tap and 11 margueritas as well as a full bar. We ordered calimari which came with a Thai chili sauce instead of the usual marinara and it was well cooked and nice change. We ordered rack of ribs (3) of us with fries, lime-cilantro rice, and another with house chips. Fall of the bone tender and tasty. Chicken quesadilla very good. We ordered an old fashioned, a pineapple mango mojito, and a couple prickly pear margueritas. For dessert we ordered the brownie hot fudge sundae. HUGE and great for sharing and the dipping donuts. Both were very good. All were well made and tasty Our server a young man named Alex was very friendly and efficient. There were a couple areas for dining and a bar area. I was in pursuit of the perfect classic cheeseburger tonight. We found it at @millersalehousechattanooga. Staff is attentive and friendly. Drinks are great and the service is superb. Best Classic cheeseburger I have ever had. Perfecty cooked with Classic bun (not brioche) just enough Spanish onion rings and authentic dill pickles. I added mustard. We were staying across the shopping mall from this restaurant. There were probably 100 places to eat within a mile or so of this area but we picked this one based on Yelp reviews. It was pretty busy for a Sunday evening but it was a holiday weekend. We got a hightop table near the bar. The service was probably the only downer of this visit. Our waitress had a table with at least 14 people so she was a bit "busy". Perhaps they might have been suffering from a lack of staff like many places though we just spent a month in Florida and were surprised that that did not seem to be an issue there. I ordered a drink when we sat down and when our food was delivered I had to ask again for it - they claim the bar was backed up (did not look like it to us). They finally brought it after I had begun to eat. The food was shockingly good. I got their Nashville chicken sandwich which was very spicy and the chicken very juicy. It is one messy sandwich. The fries were hot and crispy - very good. The black bean burger was just really good. The buns on both were super fresh and made the sandwiches. I have had a few dining experiences as this restaurant. The first time I went my boyfriend and I ordered the Zingers Mountain Melt for an appetizer. This was one of the best appetizers I have ever had. Essentially it's a loaded french fry with chicken, blue cheese, celery, bacon, scallions and a Buffalo sauce. When I tell you this thing is worth the million calories it contains!! I ordered the salmon salad for my entree during my first visit. It was good, but the appetizer was my favorite. My boyfriend and I decided to dine here again this weekend. We were not starving so we figured we would just get the Zinger fries that we loved on my first visit. I also ordered a strawberry mule. The Zinger fries were not as good as the ones we had initially. However, after speaking with the manager Franko he personally delivered a fresh order. We let him know that we were not expecting a new order, but he said it was a teachable moment for him! WOW! That is awesome. He took the time to make the order with the cooks. Our server said that she worked for him at another restaurant and he is the best manager she has ever had. Admittedly, his one act meant the world to us. Out of town on a business trip and Miller's was close to where I was staying. It has been a couple years since I'd been to one and I'd forgotten how mediocre they are. First things first, it's not that hard to make your own dressings. Buying premade ranch and Ceasar Kraft dressing really brings you down in my book. Service was fine, loaded fries were fine (except for the dressing), Ceasar salad was worse than those salad kits from the grocery store, Pork osso bucco was really tender and interesting but the mashed potatoes were criminally bad. The restaurant is clean and they have a lot of TVs, but they had different music in the bar than the rest of the restaurant and I was between them and that was strange. read more

This place was okay. Not the best I've had and nothing to write home about. My daughter liked her ribs and my son liked his pasta. My husband got the prime burger and said it was ok. I had the BBQ Bacon Burger. It was kind of dry. We also had cheese fries as an appetizer. It was the best part of the meal (as the picture is of an empty plate). Went to Miller's really wanting to love it but we had a pretty bad experience with obvious issues that kept it from being truly a good experience. Right off the bat, we had to move due to a seriously noisy table that was no longer fully mounted to the wall. Tables and booths seemed to have structural and soundness (balance) issues. Chairs didn't always sit level either, flopping from leg to leg somewhat unsteady. Just seemed like their fixtures and furnishings were not wisely thought out from a quality standpoint. We loved how personable our waitress was but major communication errors between staff made for some potentially big issues. Timing was an issue as well and we waited for well over 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out only to not get it and instead be handed our mains/entrees. Our appetizer was eventually brought out after the mains and credited by management. The side that came with my main was forgotten and came out last. The food was the saving grace for all the issues we experienced. Unfortunately, the running of the kitchen--or lack thereof--is very apparent with obvious issues being the proper expediting, firing, and follow-through of orders. Items were not organized and came out at very weird timings, completely out of order. They also forgot things that were on our ticket. We see in the Chattanooga Miller's Ale House a great potential to be amazing with better organization and balanced management. When a standard is implemented and followed, things flow and positive practices are built. Currently, there is far too much afterthought and "fixing" of things. Chasing problems gets you nowhere, however, doing things in a manner to eliminates problems is a complete game changer. Overall, we would give it another try but are rather guarded about that due to the nature of this experience. We would recommend coming here only with an open mind and plenty of time at your disposal. read more

My wife and I were in town to see the sights with the kids and as we always do we turn to Yelp to see what places we can explore on that trip. We try to avoid chains and places that we can get anywhere we go so we found Miller's. We were sat immediately and the waitress greeted us immediately. This is unusual for us as most of the time lately we have to go find someone to take my order. We ordered our drinks, entrees and the kids wanted some Mozzarella sticks so we ordered those as well. The Mozzarella sticks were amazing. Some of the best we have ever had. If they are frozen you can't tell. They taste like someone just made them. Top Notch. My wife ordered the Monday special which was the full rack of ribs. I ordered the French dip. The kids ordered burgers. My wife said the ribs were in her top 5 of all time. This is saying a lot. She said they were delicious. My French dip was not top 5 ( very hard to crack my French dip 5) but had good flavor and was satisfying. Bottom like. This was our first visit since they opened and I am impressed. The whole interior was updated and it looks GREAT!! There are enough TV screens in here to satisfy any sports fan. We had a chicken and shrimp salad and a prime rib sandwich and both were outstanding!! Great food and good service although I will caution the wait staff not to walk up and interrupt our conversation every 5 minutes with meaningless updates like your food is almost ready, I need to get your drink refills, etc etc. I think during our Sunday lunch we had 3-5 interruptions without any pause or waiting on us to acknowledge her.
