Texas Roadhouse is always our go-to date night spot! My husband and I absolutely love coming here, and we have never been disappointed. The food is always amazing, and honestly, every appetizer we've tried has been delicious. The prime rib is one of our favorites -- it's always so soft, tender, and juicy, and cooked just right. The service is always fantastic as well. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. We're traveling on business from out of state. We've been to many Texas Roadhouses and never had a bad experience. The first concern were some bad reviews I'd read. Then when we went at 1:30pm, hoping to have lunch, they weren't open! All the Texas Roadhouses we've been to all over the country, we've never encountered one not open for both lunch and dinner. So we ate a light fast food lunch and tried again a few hours later. Only 2 negatives (other than limited hours) at this location. 1) they never answered the phone while trying for 7 minutes to get on the waitlist. And the hostess wasn't friendly- especially when I asked if they answer their phone. 2) the filet minion had some grizzle that I had to spit out. That's not usual for any other Texas Roadhouse we've been to. Now for everything good! The girl who seated us was friendly. Our server, McKenna was great!! Very friendly and got everything the way we ordered. We enjoyed everything we ordered, and enjoyed our conversations with McKenna when she was at our table. I ordered the frozen Jamaican Cowboy with plenty of salt on the rim and she got the bartender to LOAD the rim! She brought me plenty of lemon wedges for my water, that I'd requested and got me more later. Our salads came out fresh and crisp. Our steaks (8oz filets) came out great. This restaurant is getting worse every time I go. I was here about 3 weeks ago and the prime rib was black and nasty. The bartender and managers were a mess. Today it was raw. How hard is it to get a prime rib to MR. Bread was undercooked and greasy. I'm done with this location. read more

My medium rare steak was more like a medium well. My husband was brought a sweet potato instead of baked potato. My daughter's cheeseburgers were burnt. Gravy had skin on top. Drinks went empty. Cocktails tasted watered down. I was excited to go somewhere I'd never been, but trust me when I say I will not be going back. read more

Went out for a date night and decided on Texas Roadhouse. The rolls and butter were delicious of course. They also had (bagged) peanuts! I haven't seen a TR with peanuts in years! I haven't ordered an adult drink here before so I figured I would give it a try and ordered the hurricane. I was a little worried because I didn't see prices and that's normally not a great sign. The drink was so good and HUGE I saw dollar signs as soon as they brought it out. When we got the bill it was only $10 so now this is my go-to drink spot. I got my chicken critter salad, as always, with honey mustard and ranch. They gave me ranch with some weird vinaigrette and it took a long time for our server to check on us after the food came out and get my honey mustard but I was honestly too into my hurricane to care too much. read more

I CANNOT BELIEVE THE SERVICE! We waited over an hour to eat which we understood because we had a party of 10. We finally get seated at a table for 8. There was a table across from us they were cleaning off for us but the so called manager came to us and said it was already promised. She also stated there was a table that would sit us but we would have to get back in line! I have worked customer service my entire life and there wasn't a shred of care or concern. How can you seat people when we TELL you 8 adults, 1 high hair and we have a wheel chair bound child and sit us at a 8 top and tell us to wait longer after we waited an HOUR! We've eaten here so many times but the last few times it's been subpar. Our potato skins are burnt on the bottom and we've had to remind them twice that we didn't get our appetizers as they brought our entrees. We ate there last week and it was all wrong. Again the appetizer didn't fine and when it did it was burnt on the bottom. My ribs were extremely dry even after they brought me a different entree of them and the sides were lukewarm. My husband was not happy either.He ordered carrots and they came out hard and the server took them back and brought them right back out and they were still hard. Today me and some friends stopped here to eat on our way from Manchester headed back home to Atlanta. The wait started out at 1.5 hours since we had a party of 9. They actually ended up getting us seated in about 25 minutes. Once we were seated the service from Nicole was great! She was sweet, knowledgeable, and came to the table sharply after we were seated. She brought out drinks and told us she was showing to greet another table then come back and take our orders. From the time she took our orders to the time we got our food was over 30 minutes. Everything that came was cold. Including our steaks, mashed potatoes, and broccoli was raw not steamed. It was approximately 10 minutes before we went and located a manager and expressed our concerns about the food and had some of it sent back, some warmed up, and others (including myself) just boxed ours up. We arrived a little after 11 on Sunday right after they opened and there was already a line. We were seated quickly. Our server was very nice, not overly attentive but nice. My son and I split a Prime Rib dinner. The meat tasted like it had already gone bad. The manager response was.. "we cut all our steaks fresh daily". Okay, that doesn't mean the meat wasn't bad before it was cut. My daughter ordered a chili cheese hot dog, it was so hard we couldn't cut it with a knife. Great food. I brought my family of six down here to celebrate a milestone birthday. Knowing they would be busy, we allowed for ample time. We checked in around 5pm and were quoted a 1:30 to 1:45 wait time. We opted to wait in our car for the most of that wait but the last few minutes we came inside and stood in the foyer. As we were standing there, one of the two hosts brought out a chair and asked me to move so she could sit down. I did, after asking if the chair was for me. She gave me an attitude and said "No". After I moved and she sat down, I could hear her talking negatively about all the people who were standing there and how they should be waiting in their cars. We had words. This is the second time we've had issues with the hosts at this location. The food is great and the servers are wonderful, but I'll never be back because of the hosts out front. Very busy location. Not sure if it was just a one time thing or if it's always busy. We called ahead for a table and was told 4pm didn't get seated till almost an hour later. There is no steak worth the abuse you have to endure to get in. Called ahead at 4:30- told there was an 1.5 hour wait. WHAT? It's not even dinner time, how are you that packed? Must be short staffed! Arrived at 5, thinking there must be a mistake. I proceed to the bar- i was stopped from walking into the building by an employee who could not bother to stand up from her comfy looking chair (chairs not provided to waiting customers inside only benches outside). I was greeted with "where are you going?" I resisted the urge to curse at the child asking me why i was entering a restaurant and replied, "to the bar, is that ok?" Liquor was necessary after navigating the parking lot. To which Ms. Personality delivers a detailed explanation of the bar seating that I did not care to listen to. I repeat, "I want a drink from the bar, is that ok ?" Finally, "yes". I stand at the bar for 10 minutes before any bartender manages to look my way, I need alcohol too badly to be rude back. I over tip and return the front where the staff attempts to steer me outside. I refuse to go outside as I am not cattle, i am a person, it's 30 degrees and i just over tipped on your over priced margarita. I find my mother in law who has RA and can NOT physically tolerate the cold, has seated herself in an row of extra chairs along the wall, I settle in next to her and shoot eye daggers at employees who looks at us sideways. Every few minutes an employee screams from a different corner of the bar (this is the norm) about a guest having a birthday or they break out in a line dance (against their will, they clearly want to keep their tips). I humbly suggest the following to management: block off a section of seats for waiting customers ( vs leaving them empty- i see 7 right now). Adjust your wait time for the number of servers you have. Then OVER estimate wait time and seat people early vs what you're doing: making people wait longer than your estimates- most of them in the cold of winter. read more

This is the first time my wife and I have gone here, and unfortunately probably will be the last. I had heard a lot of hype about how good Texas Roadhouse is, and maybe it's just this location...but the service and especially the food (besides the steak, which was good) was awful. Number one....the restaurant itself was very, very cold. I know it's hot outside, but it was uncomfortably cold. This could have contributed to the food problem. I ordered a combo plate with grilled shrimp and sides of baked potato and corn on the cob. When the server brought it, there was a heap of cut off corn in a bowl. I could let that go, I thought....so I didn't say anything. I dug into the baked potato....which I'd paid extra for extra ingredients.....and it was stone cold. I pulled a shrimp off the grill stick, it was also stone cold. My wife's steak was good, but her sweet potato was also cold. I assume that all the items but the steaks were plated first, then the steaks were plated after they were cooked off. With the temperature in the restaurant being so cold....well, you get the picture. Also, our server never came back to check on us until we were almost through with our meal...and by that time I didn't want to go through the hassle of having more food brought since I had eaten the steak. Additionally, the restaurant was crowded then by baseball teams....and very noisy. When I pay almost sixty dollars for two people to eat, I like to be able to actually enjoy the food. That sure wasn't the case at this particular restaurant. Maybe it was just a one time thing....but I can go to LaFayette, Ga., and eat delicious barbecue meats for half this price....and get good service, and have plenty to carry home. Greeted at front door by a loitering poor fella down on his luck. Simple order of two cheeseburgers and steak fries. Friendly gal took our order. Never saw her until bill. Server apologized for kitchen on slow service. 30 minutes for simple order to cook. Burgers were over salted but edible. Two young ladies bussing tables very kind to refill my ice tea and gave better service than waitress. I left generous tip with hope the young ladies get a cut from server. Steaks on two plates cooked wrong. Server just seemed off. She had no sense of urgency. We spoke to a manager, and instead of taking off the plates incorrectly made, she offered a discount.(??). There were four of us, and we brought them for the first time. It was embarrassing. They won't come back. We insisted that the manager take the two plates off of the ticket, and she reluctantly did. Another normal visit to Texas Roadhouse. The service was amazing. Our waitress was quick, refilled our bread without asking and had drink refills before our food came out. She also asked if my husband would need another beer before he finished his and she brought it out after he finished the first drink so it wouldn't get warm. The food was a different story. The fries were thrown all over the plate and didn't look very appealing. My steamed vegetables were so over cooked I didn't even have to chew my broccoli.
