It's ok by me , service is good , we like most things on the menu and there happy hour is always good

In the spirit of advertising works, my wife and I decided to try the 2 for $25 deal at Applebees. We were promptly greeted at the foot and shown to our table. Our server, Randall, was Johnny in the spot to take our drink orders. And within 5 minutes, our 2 for $25 flew out the door . Another fun fact. The deal is only for a handful of entrees. We started with 2 side salads. Crispy, cold lettuce. Obligatory croutons for filler. Some tomato, shredded carrot, bell pepper & cheese. Basic but fresh. My wife opted for an "upgrade" and for an extra $3 months reared the sirloin dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was thin, grizzled and tough. Suggestion - save your $3. My grilled cheeseburger was excellent. Cooked right. Served on toasted bread with 2 layers of cheese and a side of fries. It also came with a small cup of tomato soup for dipping. Honestly, the soup was so good I asked for a spoon rather than soaking it up with the burgers' bread. Surprisingly, the burger looks just like the marketing picture. Service was excellent. I'd stick with burgers over fancy entrees. In the end our 2 for $25 with a glass of wine and a beer turned into $52 with a generous tip. read more

Wow!!! After having a bad experience here last year they have definitely made a lot of improvements recently. The service was phenomenal and Zach went above and beyond for us. He is so adorable and sweet. The manager Eric quickly corrected the few minor problems with the food and the food was amazing. The Bourbon chicken and shrimp as well as the OM cheese burger are absolutely amazing. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was great. Definitely a huge improvement from last year. read more

Amanda is our friendly server. The restaurant is slammed today with Veterans. I am dining with a couple Marines, so our party has 3 Navy Department personnel. 1 Marine and I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was all good to me. Tha Marine said his steak was tough. Another Marine ordered the Chicken Penne Pasta. He really enjoyed it. His plate was nearly empty, but the breadstick was too hard for him. We're regulars and come with a group of 6-8 people. Tonight we had 9. They seated us quickly and immediately took drink orders. We had some of our group who had to leave quickly and our amazing server expedited their order and bill. Our food came quickly and it was hot and yummy and all orders were correct. (The waiter didn't write our orders down!! ) I had the Fiesta lime chicken with rice and pico and it was perfect . My husband had the all you can eat shrimp and he said it was delicious and hot when delivered and refilled. We stopped here at this Applebees after a long absence. We stopped because we had a great experience at 1 in Manitowoc, WI. Forgot how much we enjoyed them. As we pulled up there was hardly a place to park. Upon entering the restaurant there was quite the crowd; so instead of waiting for a booth we sat at the bar ( which I actually enjoy ). We were waited on fairly quick; the bartender (1) was taking care of the whole restaurant and she did it with grace. Got our drinks and placed an order. Drinks were icy cold and food followed very quickly. A customer next to us received their order but their taco didn't have very much food so the bartender took quick and fast resolution to that. Nothing stood out..this business is unfortunate because they are understaffed... slow greet slow food service and no management to be found. My food WAS good but the restaurant was dark and gloomy no music no atmosphere. It was like cafeteria dining at $42.00 There was no alcohol ordered. You can't provide minimal service and increase your menu prices it's too big a risk. Applebee's did and they will eventually close, do the math. The portions are smaller and that's good with me I don't eat a lot. However the rest of my party didn't agree? General consensus not enough food on the plate. Went for lunch and the server was very nice. Our food was good. The boneless wings were fine but the breading was very hard. The major high point was mango smoothie! Amazing! Super tasty, think and didn't taste like anything I've had before. The odor walking in however, was gross. The seat backs fabric were nasty and the carpet was worse. When we first walked in the door the smell of mold and dirty carpet was horrible. I used the restroom and as I walked back to it there was a fan blowing in the hallway, all I could smell was the stench of dead rodents. The food came out, we both ordered the chicken with grilled shrimp, it was on a bed of burnt onions, the shrimp and chicken, they both were barely warm, and the mashed potatoes were cold as well. Absolutely the most disgusting food I have ever been served. The waitress was very kind, that was the best of our experience. This place is truly in violation of health codes. Went to eat at Applebees in Clarksville Monday with my boyfriend and daughter. The food was very cold, and our server was kinda rude, rushed us out the door, and didn't bring us certain things we asked for. We didn't wanna cause a big deal, so we just paid and left no tip ‍ well the server took it upon herself to charge my card for a $10 tip. I called the location to discuss this, as soon as heather brown the GM answered, she asked me if I called about the same problem the previous day. Being as, other customers have had the same experience at this location. I told her that wasn't me that called yesterday, my card was only charged just this morning. I explained what happened, she said I could get my $10 refund and shes sure that her server just made a mistake, she had about 30 slips that night.. I explained to her I have served for 2 years, at restaurants MUCH busier than Applebees, this was NO mistake. She started yelling at me, and told me to come with the local police to receive my refund. So I called corporate and reported her and her faithful employee. read more

I paid my bill with a card and left cash for a tip. The waitress decided to also add a tip onto my balance. She stole from me!!!! She was a horrible waitress. It took forever to get the tip she gave herself back, once I called the restaurant and spoke to someone from corporate. I feel I should have been reimbursed for my meal but I was not. Our server was friendly, attentive and went above & beyond. Expectations for the food was low, but my husband and I were both pleasantly surprised that our entrees were actually rather good. I ordered the chicken tenders online I expect them to match what's in the picture. This is false advertisement on Applebee's part because these are not the same. How do you advertise crispy breaded chicken but serve your guest rib meat frozen chicken. These look like the chicken tenders they serve to elementary school kids. Also fries were hella salty couldn't even eat them. Also don't advertise that you do car Side pick up till 9:30 but then when I place my order for pick up at 8:30 refuse to bring out the order. You all weren't busy so there was no reason that your server or whoever is in charge of taking our car side pick up orders couldn't have taken it out. What the heck has happened to this place??? We used to come here quite often as a group before Covid. Two of us went the other day and were actually disgusted. There was food (not crumbs, entire pieces of chicken, etc.). The staff seems to give little to no concern about their customers or the way the place looks, etc. The manager seemed nice, but he didn't seem concerned what all is going wrong around him. Actually, oblivious is the word that comes to mind. I would love for this place to change to what it once was. Unless there's a marked difference, our group of "regulars" will never be back. read more

II haven't been to Applebee's in ages...Saying that.. I had the urge for some Festivo lime chicken....When I cut into the Chicken breast it was PINK AKA RAW... no about a month ago or more was in the hospital for two days with major food poisoning..(I got it from another restaurant that was a Chinese buffet..) so I am very careful about where I eat out and what I eat... When the tall, thin waitress finally got back to me with proper utensils, she took my Festiva line chicken away and got me another one...It was NOT COOKED AGAIN all the way through.. Chicken when you cut into it if it's a breast should be white.. ALL CHICKEN SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PINK WHATSOEVER. ANYONE WHO KNOWS MY REVIEWS KNOWS OI'M COMPLETELY FAIR AND HONEST.... This Applebee's is in Jeffersonville Indiana right next to the green tree mall. The Spanish rice that comes along with it with the lime wedges was tasty, and I sorted out the properly cooked pieces of chicken breast... now the chicken breast comes with a Colby Jack sharp cheddar very delicious cheese on top but it's hard to enjoy that when you're eating Pink chicken..... Applebee's needs a complete in total overhaul when you're making this type of chicken breast you need to score the chicken poke a lot of holes in it to get it cooked thoroughly on the inside. I've had this dish before way back when and never had a problem with it but yuck. Yuck today ... it's been a long time since I gave a server way under $18%.. I felt I wasn't as important as the bigger groups she was serving. If I go to Drakes,... Texas Roadhouse... they treat me just as important as the big group... And Drakes gives retired Military military discount and we thank them..So does Texas Roadhouse ... now Applebee's gave me a Military discount but If I had eaten that pink chicken. They would probably had to pay my Hospital bill..... I do not want to go through that ever again. Anyway, I had a flag down my lady server for a to go box silverware, and drink. Like I said it was a single and not very important.... She did give a new Festive lime chicken.. but the problem was still there.... I won't be back anytime soon... my recommendation is a complete and total overhaul of this beautiful facility from the managers to the cooks to the servers. This location is really run down the floors were dirty and the tables were sticky I orderd there 2 for 30$ appetizer and 2 entrees witch consisted of onion rings witch were over cooked and burnt and 2 of there 6oz serloin steaks one orders rare and the other medium rare both came out well done and when I brought it up to the server they said it was where they were setting under the warming lamp i sat waiting on my drinks for 20 minutes and it took 45 for my food to come out I do not recommend eating at this location . read more

When we go here, we're mainly going for the location (near the mall) or for half priced appetizers. For instance, yesterday, I wanted to watch the game and the kids wanted to go to the mall to spend gift cards. We can go here and order some finger foods, they can walk to the mall while I drink beer and watch the game and then when they get back we can order a meal if we desire. If it sounds to good to be true...........I had given up on this location 10 years ago because of nothing but terrible experiences but they lured me back with Carside to go. The premise is you order and pay for your food on the net, list what kind and color vehicle you will be in and when you arrive at the restaurant a pleasant person brings your food to your vehicle. The truth: I drove to the restaurant, park in the designated spot. I waited for 20 minutes and watched as employees came and left work and one smoked a cigarette on the steps to the takeout door. I finally decided to leave the fantasy of the promise and I got out of my truck and went inside. Someone said "you here to pick up"? I replied "yes, I have been waiting 20 minutes" to which the bartender replied "you should have called and said you were out there" and I said confused "the website doesn't mention calling upon arrival" she then repeated "you should have called and said you were here, our system is down" (I have a feeling the system has always been down) I repeated "the website does not mention calling" I am always shocked when restaurant workers make a screw up the customers fault, they must be sent to a special "excuses" school. I would think if you are expecting a pick up and they listed the exact vehicle and color they would be in that a simple head stuck out the door would suffice but then again why should the employee be burdened because of a "faulty system" blame the customer and run off business because Applebee's is the only place to eat in Clarksville, oh wait,,,there are hundreds. We had the best bartender/server Robert W, never had to ask for a refill and our food was perfect better than most Applebee's I have been to and I get the same thing every time. We were visiting the area, and we were so hungry, so we decided to give Applebee's a chance. They blew our expectations of what casual dining should be out the window. Our waiter, Trevor J, was INCREDIBLE. He anticipated our needs and truly made us feel like a part of the neighborhood. The food was exactly what we were looking for, and the waiter even drew a fun and cute drawing on our take out box which was so above and beyond what he needed to do to make this a good dine out experience.
