So let's start off with the good. The happy hour is nice we like to go for the half price apps. It also has a bar that isn't too loud and you can still talk at normal level. The bad is that they are extremely inconsistent. Some nights everything is good. food comes out fast and the servers remember your there, other nights you will be waiting for over 45 minutes or more for food to come out that is cold or over cooked and you have to pace yourself with drinks cause you won't know when you will get checked on again. read more

We went out to eat with another couple to give Applebee's one more chance the other couple ordered the onion soup and told the waitress to please make sure it's hot and for the third time it came not even close to hot. Trash....clovis in a nut shell. I only gave this place 1 star because it exists, and for Clovis that means alot. Applebee's is usually an ok place to go for drinks and food but Clovis, NM and its imbreds really have a huge impact on this place. The servers I experienced where one day away from relapsing on meth, the food was overcooked and rubbery, the beer was mediocre at best, and my friends girlfriends drink tasted of corn syrup and ice with a drop of shitty tequila. My water glass had lipstick stains on it, which is scary because girls in Clovis do not know what makeup or lipstick is. Stay away from this shit hole...hell stay away from clovis. read more

I ate here with the wife and kids on a Friday night. The service was just okay. The food was served hot and was cooked as ordered. I had steak fajitas medium well. Note for next time, order medium because the hot skillet it is served on will cook the steak past medium well before it can be totally eaten. The wife and kids liked their food. They have an excellent selection of menu items. I have to recommend their blondie for dessert. One of my all time favorite restaurant chain desserts. It is a lot of sweet but it works for this dish. The ice tea was good. This will more than likely be a go-to place for meals here in Clovis. read more

I will NEVER go to this place again. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the food USED to be good. However, it has been months since I have had a good meal from them. There was once they forgot to put the sauce on my macaroni and cheese, so it was just plain macaroni. Or when my salad was all brown lettuce. (Gross). My husband's steak was COMPLETELY raw, like not even edible. Whenever we went it would take them 15 minutes of walking by to even realize we hadn't had drinks, then another 15 to order the food, and even longer for us to get our food incorrectly prepared. We visited Applebee's 1-6-16 for lunch. We have been there many times with some good and some not so good experiences. Yesterday they were not busy so service should have been stellar. It took 4 requests to get a glass of water; cutlery was dirty; the lettuce on the burger was translucent and wilted. When we showed the server the lettuce, she asked if we wanted her to tell anyone about it???? Not the best experience. There is a new manager and the whole dining experience has since declined. Probably the worst food and service I have seen in last 5 years. Food came out cold. Asked to refire. It went in microwave. Drinks took over 15 minutes to be delivered to table. So. Im not sure where to start. First off, they weren't busy at all. The hostess was nice. Our waitress was attentive in the beginning, until we ordered our food. My husband and I ordered the 2/$27. I got the Chicken Penne w/ side salad, and he got the Bacon BBQ Burger w/ side salad. One kid asked for pizza, fruit and yogurt and c. milk, the other got the Chicken Taco, fruit and yogurt and lemonade. She brought our salads which were good. I could have gotten a little more dressing but eh. We got our food 25 minutes later. My husbands burger was OK aside from the one slice of bacon and the brown spotted lettuce leaf, one kid got the pizza, strawberry slices and yogurt and milk like he ordered the other got a chicken and cheese quesadilla with side tomato, three strawberry slices and chunks of yogurt. I on the other hand got cold noodles with cold chicken, soupy sauce on the bottom of my plate and a burnt breadstick. I immediately asked the waitress to come back and it took her 5 minutes to walk over. I asked if my Alfredo sauces was supposed to be red and runny and her face expressed it all. She called someone else over and they asked if I wanted them to fix it, I asked how long it would take and the waitress said the chicken takes a while to cook, I declined since everyone else had gotten their food and was already eating. Whoever it was that our waitress brought over offered to remove my food from our ticket and I obliged. We ended up splitting my husbands burger just so I could eat with my family. We never received drink refills on our water, or one kids lemonade and she never checked on us while we were eating to make sure everything else was ok. We asked her for our check and she started to take empty plates away. SHE ALMOST DROPPED THE PLATES ON OUR INFANTS HEAD because she was grabbing over him instead of standing to the side of his high chair!!!!!! Towards the end of our dinner there was a group of women with one man whom I can only assume were prostitutes and a pimp due to the lack of clothing and demands from said man to these women. They also were tweaking out before they were seated. Unfortunately we won't be back, even though this is one of three main restaurants in town. I don't recommend here, period. Either cook at home or go to Cotton Patch. read more

Our waitress was Santana and she was very nice &a helpful and quick with refills and our appetizers & food were brought out in a timely fashion. Overall, great service & food. Went to the Clovis, NM, Applebees tonight. The seater person asked us to wait three minutes while her wait staff "got caught up." We waited three minutes. The person who asked us to wait went and talked with another wait staff member for three minutes. Four other wait staff members stood by the bar talking. Nobody moved to delivered anything in the three minutes. We were left standing by the entrance. The place wasn't 15% full! We left. read more

We ordered two salads to pick up. When we arrived home on a snowy day, we discovered the Thai Shrimp Salad did not have any shrimp. My wife called and talked to the manager and was told he would make another salad. When she arrived the manager had not ordered another salad, no one came to her car in the designated order pick up, and she had to go inside and wait until the manager handed her a salad that had been prepared for another customer. No apologizes were offered by anyone, even though two trips were made in poor weather. The second salad was tiny with very little lettuce. With a manager this bad, there is no wonder the reviews of this restaurant are so poor! read more
