I am stationed here for training and decided to try out this Applebee's. WHAT A MISTAKE. We walked in and sat at the bar, we sat there for a good 10-15 minutes without being even acknowledged by the bartender (strike 1), who was literally having his a** kicked by a bottle of wine that he couldn't figure out how to use a wine key to open (strike 2, the bartender can't open a wine bottle... This is kind of your bread & butter no?). Then after leaving to go find someone who knew how to conquer that pesky wine bottle, he comes back and finally acknowledges us by telling us he'll be with us in a few. The 2 ladies sitting beside us had ordered the wine, so the bartender put two glasses in front of them, distictly not clean wine glasses (strike 3). One of the women even stopped him from pouring and asked for a clean glass. Man, we were not directly next to these ladies, and we could see how dirty the glasses were, under no circumstance could the bartender have missed it, and he STILL tried to serve wine in them to these ladies! That was it. We got up and walked out. Poor customer service, employees who haven't been properly trained, and dirty (and I mean dirty, you could see lip marks) glasses. No thank you, road up the street to Texas roadhouse, and that was much better. Under no circumstance would I try this place again. ******** UPDATE ******** Applebee's emailed me apologizing and asking for my contact info so that someone from this Applebee's could get in touch with me regarding the heinous experience and service... I sent it, and they never got back to me. This company is garbage all around. They will never be earning my patronage ever again... And I mean the company, not just this location. read more

The worst service ever. Not only did we wait for a table in an establishment that was half empty. But the food we ordered crook for ever and came cold One in our party ordered the all you could eat ribs. That order came last. And by time the first rail came everyone else was done eating. And thatching plate really 3 ribs at a time and a load of French fries. Empty dishes kept piling up server never cleared them. Ih snd each plate she brought was placed directly in front of the toddler. She took for ever to bring food but haunted us for the check giving us no time to review it or figure tip. Unfortunately, previous Yelp reviews reflect my experience on 9/26/2016. The good: this place is actually cleaner and has a nicer look inside as compared to other restaurants in the area. The bad: the food. I ordered the happy hour baked pretzels. They came out piping hot...but the blue moon cheese was gelatinous and kind of hard. The pretzels were good for the first few bites, but then you notice they are caked with what I presume is garlic salt. A lot of garlic salt. This appetizer could be much improved if the cheese was warmed and address the abundant garlic salt issue. I didn't finish the four pretzels. I opted for the Monday $6.99 any burger special... I ordered the triple bacon and bbq burger...it came out drowning in cheddar cheese....there must have been five slices. When I attempted to pick up the burger all I got was two handfuls of cheese....thank goodness a stack of napkins was close. I promptly scraped off most of the cheese with more fork. By the way, the triple bacon is simply three bacon slices in a crisscross pattern. This burger sounded better in the menu description. Again, could be significantly better with the standard amount of cheese. The nasty: the unlimited French fries. Wow. I have no idea how a restaurant screws up fries, but they certainly achieved that. Two issues here: the fries were caked in a salt/ground pepper combination. A lot. I put salt on everything...so for me to say they were way too salty is saying something. The other issue with the fries...were kind of cold...they weren't ice cold, but not even being close to warm. That's really annoying. Who would eat cold fries? At least I got a large happy hour Miller lite for $3.50. While I was sitting at the bar I noticed the lady next to me order boneless wings 5 minutes after me. They came to her 10 minutes before my pretzels came....so the service was a little slow for me. Her boneless wings looked like the Tyson chicken kind you get in frozen section of the grocery store. She only at 1/3 of them...they didn't look appetizing at all. I would say the food is mediocre at best but has obvious areas for significant improvement. I'm not sure why management does not address these simple, but significant food quality issues. Just finished my meal here and immediately downloaded the yelp app just to write this review. The food here is atrocious. The grilled chicken tasted similar to a dried sponge, the broccoli tasted like my grandmother's sock drawer, and the "healthy" grains had an odor of a Walmart tennis shoe. I feel bad for the people working here; serving food that looked AND smelled worse than their molding carpets. I can't tell if their lighting and windows are dim to hide the grime the restaurant holds, to hide the worker's sad stares, or simply because their manager does not have anymore passion or hope left to improve this place as she refuses to let this Applebees see another day of sunshine. read more

I took my kids to Applebee's for lunch and once we were seated we sat there for 10 minutes and not one waiter/waitress came to take our drink order let alone say someone will be right with us. I would have taken that time to look at the menu and had my food order ready but the menu was stuck together. Further more there was a girl bussing a table next to mineband the waitress taking orders two table away came over to help clear the table, not once turning around to acknowledge we were sitting g there. This is my first review, and I wouldn't do this if I wasn't fed up, but this Applebees is horrid! I have consistantly been disappointed with their extremely long wait times and constant screw-ups with even the most basic of orders. Many a times have I sat for 30+ minutes (when there is hardly anyone here) to get a SALAD, and then when everything I ordered comes, most of it is incorrect. I've tried eating here again and again because I like the food, but it's not worth it anymore. I'm done. I would give zero stars if possible, and I highly recommend that the corporate office comes and deals with this atrocity. read more

Came here on a Saturday night and was immediately sat down. The restaurant was booming and the waiters were running around like crazy. It took us 20 minutes to get our drink order to which a waiter approached us and told us that he was gonna get our table since the restaurant was so backed up. We placed our drink, appetizer and our food order at the same time. Took us ten minutes to get our drinks. Over an hour to get our appetizer and almost two hours to get our meal. The appetizers were just two salads, and when we received them we were told to pick a different dressing because they were out of ranch. Service was crap. Sat at the bar to watch football today (Sunday) and they only had 2 games. Not a big deal I guess. However, I ordered the "endless" ribs, which is the Sunday special, and got one plate of ribs in about 2 hours. Bartender never asked if I wanted more, never acknowledged our existence unless we were all out of drinks and had to beg for attention. She pretty much acted annoyed that people were sitting at her bar. Crappy experience, paid $13.50 for ribs that were not "endless" and only got served 2 beers the whole time. So first off am not from Cali.I ordered the limit time offer of buy a handcrafted burger and get FIVE boneless wings $1.I ordered my food for curbside pick up around 4:11pm for my wife, our daughter and myself.My online order was stated to be ready by 4:27. I got there at 4:35 due to me walking my dog before going there.I called to let them know am there.The employee told me my order wasn't ready yet. I waited about fifteen mins then went inside to get my order. The hostess told me that they currently have one person doing curbside and that I can go pick up my food from the carryout table in the back.I asked the person that was suppose to do the curbside attending, for an update on my order.She stated that it wasn't ready by that it was around 5:05pm.Another eight mins past and the "curbside" told me that she doesn't know what happened to my order "I asked her what does she mean" she stated "she doesn't what's going on." I asked her to speak to the manger, then she stated that my order was being prepared by the manger. So I asked her will she(manger) be bring me the order. Food took about 1 hour. Given the amount of people here, it was understandable. When it arrived, the bourbon st chicken and shrimp was overlooked and grisly. No plate was offered or brought so good sat of the hot skillet and continued to cook. My husband's burger wasn't cook right and the fries were lukewarm. If it wasn't for the nice waitress, this would've been a one star review. First of all it took an hour for me and Collin to get our food. Finally, we were finished eating and we were still waiting for Cheryl and Bill to get their food. Collin and i had been done for 25 minutes when the waitress comes by and says, "are you guys ready for the check?" Bill chimes in, "umm... my wife and i still haven't gotten our food." Eventually Bill and Cheryl got their food and Bill had to cut his steak with a plastic knife. If you are looking for a good workout, come to this Applebee's and order their specialty, the tough ribeye steak and the Dixie fork! (That's right, plastic silverware)! And if you're looking to inadvertently cut out some calories, come in and order a Regular Pepsi, i can assure you they will bring you a Diet instead. So basically, I didn't get to enjoy dinner with my old friend Bill from up-state and his lovely wife. They got to eat cold food 30 minutes after watching Collin and I eat, and Bill got to enjoy broken plastic silverware in his steak and incorrect soft drinks in his cup. Our server never came to our table to check on how our food was, never offered or gave us refills on drinks chips and salsa and when one of our steaks was over cooked I had to get up and find a manager who argued that a medium rare steak with an all brown center was indeed medium rare but he promised he would get us a new medium rare steak cooked between rare and medium rare in "17 minutes". 20 minutes later received the second steak and the manager never checked back to make sure everything was now suitable. Our party of 8 was sat quickly. The place wasn't busy at all. We ordered quickly and got our drinks In a reasonable time, but it was all downhill from there. We watched people come and go around us, but we sat without our food. Took us about 35 min to get our salads and appetizers, around 1 hour and 20 to get our actual food, and it was cold. My cheese on my fajita wrap was cold and greasy, not melted, so you can tell it sat for quite some time under a warmer. My salad was served minus the dressing, I had to stop a waitress and ask for some. The waitress was absent for most of our meal, only came to check on us twice and we were there almost 2 hours. On my way to the restroom, I had to stop and say excuse me to 2 employees blocking the path sitting there chit chatting, even though they saw me coming. Inside the bathroom, the toilet paper roll holder completely fell apart on me, and there was no paper towels. On my way out of the restroom, I passed the 2 employees again talking this time using colorful language, thankfully my kids weren't with me. The manager finally came to our table and she didn't seem to care about our experience, but gave us each 15% off our check. I am not a fan of Applebee's but it was a friends going away and we let her choose. I will never eat at another Applebees again, especially this one. Please avoid it! Last night I tried to use my gift card for a pick-up order. The card did not work, which was not necessarily the fault of the restaurant, , I accepted my order anyway, went home and opened the box- I ordered a steak dinner cooked over a bed of tomato, portobella mushrooms, and spinach, plus a wheat type sauce- The meat looked like it was about just 4 ounces, about 3 mouthfuls, and the vegetables could all cram onto one medium sized spoon. I thought to myself that they must have left out more than half of my meal- the tab was $14.76 total, for basically half of a small snack. Additionally, I requested the steak to be cooked rare,, but this meat was not even close to being rare, it was closer to being well done. This is the worst Applebees I have ever been too. Decided to give it another chance after we waited over 45 minutes last time. My husband and I went in for dinner about a month or so ago. We ordered the 2 for twenty. Server got our drinks and my husbands beer. Low and behold a cock roach crawls across the back of my husbands seat and up the wall. Server was nice so we still tipped her because it wasn't her fault. The manager was rude though and she acted like it was a problem that we didn't want to eat there any longer. This visit only confirmed what I hate about Applebee's: they don't care about customers, and they don't care about service. Went on a Sunday afternoon, ASKED before being seated "are you all understaffed?" Of course they said no...no they're not understaffed, they just suck! Waitress to take our drink order: 20 mins from time of sitting. Waitress to bring our drink order: 40 mins from time of sitting (40 MINUTES FOR 2 SWEET TEAS AND A LEMONADE!!!) Order: 3 salads and 3 steaks cooked medium. Waitress walks by 6 times to say "your salads are almost ready". It takes 2 MINUTES to throw some lettuce in a bowl! Time order arrives: 1 hour and 40 minutes after sitting. Steaks come overdone, food comes cold. That means my food has been sitting in a window. All three orders are the exact same, but 2 come with mashed potatoes and one comes with wedges. WHY?!?!? They were the exact same!! First, the hostess was vacant. Amusing how ditzy she was, but still a horrible first impression. Second, we ordered the potato twists and the cook had fried a fly in them!! The waitress thankfully was helpful and took it right back to the kitchen to get it fixed. However, how dare you cook a fly into our food, offer to remake it, but then serve us a sub-par appetizer? You would think they would have tried harder the second time since they were cooking bugs in the food, but no. The second order of potatoes was over-cooked, had no seasonings like the first order did- not even salt- and it looked like they put our original queso dip into a new bowl and served it to us again. The manager did come and apologize, took the appetizer off, and gave us 50% off of our meal but paying half the cost still didn't make up for how horrible everything was. My steak, vegetables and mashed poatoes tasted like retirement home cafeteria food. I asked for cheese on my son's steam broccoli, so they threw some shredded cheese on it and didn't even bother to melt it. I have been to many Applebee's in the area and enjoyed them, but I will NEVER go back this one again.
