We were waiting for a server and after about 10 minutes a large group was seated at the table behind us. Just left this place. Ordered a french onion soup and the big Flo's Filet with a margarita. My steak was sent back because it was way well done so I ate some baked potato and salad while I waited almost 20 minutes for my new steak which showed up raw. I told our server to just forget the whole thing as I now was frustrated. The young female manager appeared and said they would take it off my bill. I said great since I didn't actually eat it. I asked maybe they could comp my drink or the soup and she said I was fortunate they didn't charge me for the salad and baked potato that I did eat half of. Are you kidding me? Had been looking forward to the French onion soup for days. My favorite! The place was short staffed I assume and we waited for 15 minutes till our server appeared. Add another 10 till our soda showed up. But that's ok, cause I was getting my soup.... The soup arrived with a promise of bread- which we didn't see until we were served our meal. I saw the same two servers busting their ass. Ours was not one of the two. One server was so impressive, I gave her a tip. She was so shocked and appreciative. The food was under par. My filet had too much seasoning it was tough to get the steak flavor. Cooked as requested. The 6 oz lobster tail must have lost a lot of weight from kitchen to my plate. The "chopped " salad had romaine leaves as large as my hand. No tomatoes, cheese or cucumbers..lettuce and croutons. We have had positive experiences here before. I'm not sure that I have been to a LongHorn Steakhouse before but i did enjoy it. We really only came here because I had a gift card. It was around 2:00 on a Saturday so it wasn't too crowded. We sat in a booth near the bar area. There were a good amount of people here but it wasn't packed. The one thing that wasn't great was the service. I feel like our waitress didn't come by enough. We only got one glass of water. It was never refilled. The food was taking a while to come out so we ordered a second drink. Finally the food came and I think a different waitress brought it out because ours was talking to people at tables instead of paying attention to us. The second drink came out when we were almost done eating. I want to say that the bartender took a long time, but I think our waitress was just talking at a table. The food was good but not great. We got a kids steak which came out great. I had a burger which seemed a little charbroiled on the outside. We also had a Caesar salad with chicken. It was ok. It is close to our house so it is something we may go try again. But I don't think I would go out of my way to get here. read more

We have been coming to this Longhorn for over 2 years now. The reason we come back is for the service and the food. We only come on Saturdays for lunch as we do shopping in the area. The place is always clean and we sit at the bar where the bartender Dallas always takes good care of us. I have a garlic allergy and she knows to always mark on the order and I feel safe knowing the kitchen will get my order right. I get the 7 pepper sirloin salad lunch and my wife gets the chicken tenders with a baked potato and they ar enough always good. Many kudos to Dallas for always taking good care of our family when we come in to eat. If you are bee in the area, give it a try as I know it is a chain but it's one of our favorites read more

After examining the menu for several minutes, I decided to order something light which was the chicken tender dinner. When the food came out, my handcrafted buttermilk chicken tenders were fried to perfection and it came with a loaded baked potato that was encrusted with sea salt imported directly from the Mediterranean as well as a Loaded Sweet Potato that's so sweet that one sampling will make your sugar go up! I have been here many times and it just seems to be getting worse each time. We went here as a group of four and had a variety of food. Went there for lunch today with a buddy from work. We both got the 12oz Ribeye, which the menu says is, "Well-marbled, making it our most juicy and flavorful steak." I came here to celebrate my friend's upcoming wedding and meet her fiancé. The service was on top of it! Realizing we were a party of 14, we expected long waits and slow service, but no! They brought out our drinks, apps and entrées with courtesy and speed. We were pleasantly surprised at the efficiency we received at this chophouse chain. The décor was typical Western rustler style with cowboy hats, spurs, and lassos. It was crowded and loud with a constant hum of hungry cowgirls and buckaroos chattering between bites of their steaks. That brings me to the food... frankly it was average... some of my table mates ordered the shrimp and jalapeño appetizer liked it, hefty portion. The Caesar salad left a bit to be desired... I had to pick out the browned leaves and it was drenched in so much dressing that it wasn't borderline inedible. I left most of it. We ordered the pick 2 combo of 6 oz. sirloin and 6 oz. chicken. Both were good, the chicken had too much cheese, but just ok. The sweet potato was average as well. But, all in all it wasn't a "missed steak" to come here. Visited Hancock Village LongHorn and it was awesome. I had a 6 oz. Filet that was the best I have ever had. Better than Outback! Who knew??? I ordered it medium and it came out medium! Wow! What a new concept!!! It was cooked perfectly. My husband had a sirloin and he loved his! Two for two! Then I had a great salad with bleu cheese dressing which was delicious. I am on a roll here! Had a loaded baked potato which was wonderful and we loved the bread and butter. Even our server was great! I took my wife, child, mother and mother-in-law out for Mother's day today. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at LongHorn. They sat us right away. The waitress was extremely friendly. We ordered Filet and lobster, filet and salmon, flat iron steak, New York strip and a kids steak. We also got an appetizer (Texas Tonion) and some salads. The timing was great and fast. Our food was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned great. The waitress was very engaging and keep our table clean and drinks filled. I would highly recommend going to this Longhorn. Service and management. Don't go to establishment after 8:45pm. We are seated in an area to the back wall (where there is another party eating also). After our appetizers come out, the other party leaves and a waitress comes to clean the area. Wiping the table and cleaning the table was normal but when she started sweeping the carpet and throwing dust in our food, she was asked to stop. She ignored the request and replied to the second request, "I got to go ". She kept sweeping dust into our direction and on our food. Her need to leave for the night was more important than her violation of sweeping dust in our food. The manager was summoned and really didn't fix the issue. To be fair, he did comp our appetizers but did not correct the behavior. This was evident by talking to another waitress on our way out . She stated we came at the end of the night (8:45pm) and they were closing areas of the restaurant. She also stated, if we had sat in another area, we would have received exceptional customer service. I don't know who trains these people, but customer service is at an all time low!!! If you open your doors customer service should be included. Visited during the lunchtime hours. I ordered the 6oz Sirloin with a baked potato and a cup of chili with a Tito's Texas Tea. Everything was great! The Tito's Texas Tea is definitely worth it. Very strong so not for the lightweights. My steak was cooked just the way I liked, only would suggest a little more seasoning. When we get our food is when it all started, my friends steak looked like something served from a school cafeteria. My steak on the other hand, while looking normal tasted like I was eating the bottom of a charcoal grill, I would hesitate feeding that quality of meat to a wild animal.
